“Nice lights for my lowers”

I lost a grill cover on one of my lowers late last season so decided to go with these to give me more visibility. Watching videos and reading instructions it took me just over 2 hours to install. I could easily do this under an hour next time. They light up well, look great, and hazard/turn signals change to amber and flash accordingly. Haven't got the bike out for the year yet but I'm sure they'll light the way.

Will provide me with a refund but I have to pay for shipping back from Canada which is about 1/2 the cost of the order. Can not afford to fix J &P Cycle mistakes. Their boots are sized wrong and jackets do not fit. Horrible experience. Letting all International people know not to shop here as a courtesy. I am stuck with $300 USA funds and $60 CA customs fees of junk.

The delivery service they use just threw my helmet over the fence so everyone could see it and possible entice thieves to come onto my property and steal it. I would have been out of 300.00 dollars because like the customer service told me basically it's not their fault where the delivery driver leaves the package. If you cannot do better then that I cannot take the chance on purchasing your products

Purchased multiple items. Each one packaged and delivered separately. While the first one was delivered in a few days, I still have not received the last one. J&P Package Tracking number was not working and when I emailed asking if they can tell me when the package was coming as I could not use the tracking system on their website, the response basically told me to use the tracking number. Ugh! From now on, I'll only use J&P if I cannot get my parts elsewhere.

Every time I order from them there are mistakes which then I have to return parts. I just cannot deal with the large amount of time it takes to order, return and wait for it all to get sorted out correctly! This causes me a huge loss of time waiting for parts, dealing with them on the phone and office time to figure out all the screwed up paperwork! They do always seem to get it straightened out but the loss of time is just not acceptable!

Often parts advertised are not in stock with either an unknown lead time or delays of many months before being due into stock. After 5-6 years of generally good dealing with this company I have moved on to more reliable suppliers.

First off I will say I have ordered from J&P cycles a few times this month and all my products arrived as expected no issues. I made a large purchase this time of 600+ dollars and I notice they charge you the full amount of your purchase at the time of the transaction and then they charge you again as each item you purchased ships. So now I have been charged 1200$ total for a 600 dollar order and I have negative 400 in my account until the actual transaction posts... had I known I'd be double charged for any amount of time I would not have bought from them. So unless you can afford to be without double the price you're expecting to be charged for then I would shop elsewhere.

Ordered intake over the phone, clearly went over my order and then shipped the wrong part. Was on the phone with them 3 times for about 2 hours and then they realized they had the wrong part on line in their own catalog! Parts guys apologized and sent a stupid wine voucher which I still had to purchase a case of wine... instead of giving me a percentage off. Waste of my time.

I've use JP cycle a few times and overall I like them but this last thing I bought was a 30 tooth transmission Pully they sent me a 34 tooth my complaint is this they try to buy you off the $25 gift card if you were on any kind of timeframe with repairing your bike and was waiting to go on a ride and you had to do a return that's where you going to get screwed I ordered my part February 27 got it March 3 Sent it back to them March 4 and according to the tracking they won't even get my part back to them until March 9 then who knows when I'm gonna get it I'm just glad I have nothing big planned it shouldn't take two weeks to get the part you're looking for that's all

They advertise next day shipping but it took like 7 days before my order went out. They messed up charging me way over so it maxxed out my credit card and messed up getting my parts. It went out in 3 seperate shipments which meant that 3 different times UPS messed up the delivery and I had to go pick them up myself. This place will be my last resort in the future

BEWARE! I thought I was doing business with a reputable business but I was totally wrong. Me and a bud decided it would be great to buy new helmets with Intercoms so we could communicate on the 5,000 mile trip we are starting 26 Sep so we started shopping. Unfortunately we found what we were looking for at J&P Cycle. After spending $800 plus dollars our order arrived 2 days later but the one helmet was missing everything Intercom related. Again I believed I was dealing with a respectable company so I called thinking it would be an easy fix. I called customer service (FYI J&P this means servicing the customer) I spoke to a service person who was killing me with kindness but at the end of the day it was all Lip Service! After a million "I'm sorry's" and all the "Wish I could's" he said there was nothing he could do and that my only option was to send everything back and then he could ship me another helmet. I suggested he send me just the missing items at which time he completely disregarded my suggestion and insisted there was nothing he could do. Again this was Thursday and we are leaving Monday and all he would say was I'm sorry. Im a business owner who MUST deal with issues that are ultimately my issue and believe me I would have overnighted the missing pieces I don't care what it would take. After reading all the reviews I can see I'm not the only one who didn't have a good experience. I wish I had read them before I made the purchase. Never again J&P! You've seen the last hard earned dollar" you will ever see from me!

First time buyer, I made an order and Paid for 3 day shipping just to find that part of my order was shipped half missing. So all I got was a Sorry and we'll ship another set. And the killing part is when u need it. And Paid for 3 day shipping and still Gotta wait til next week!

I have been a long time customer and gold club member. I have endured the companies attempted use of drop ship sites tolerated their horrible costly and time consuming mistakes. I recently went into the store to purchase items and attempted to use my gold club card and was told it had just expired 34 days ago and that my points disappear 30 days after expiration.
The clerk could do nothing. The next day I called customer service to see if they could remedy the problem and get my credit back so I could renew my membership. She advised that my points were gone and she would sell me a new membership. At no point was I alerted of the expitation and the renewal date despite them having my email and phone number.
I guess I will no longer be using J&P as they apparently have no concern for the people who keep them in business.

You might as well go with Amazon these days. At least then you'll get your parts on time. I placed an order on Mar 7th. Most of my order was processed timely, but I never got confirmation of shipment for my cams. 6 days later chatted with their customer service'. Got BS answers... about an hour later I got an email saying my order shipped. The charge for that order just hit my bank tonight. A week to process an order that is in stock... sorry excuse for a business. Go elsewhere for your motorcycle parts.

I have been J&P Cycles customer nearly 15 years with purchase of items for my club and myself over 30kUSD. Now it seems they don't want my orders anymore... I wanted urgently tires for my Steet Glide, placed order and found out that it was cancelled! When asking this from chat I was told it is possible scam and need to place new order via paypal. Doing that just to found out again from their website (no mails nothing to me) that order has been cancelled again. When asking from their super $%# friendly chat, I was told that I have cancelled the order...? Never sent anything there. When sending mail to their customer service (with attachments and explanation) got one line back saying I have cancelled order... I ordered tires from ebay and no more J&P anymore!

Business History

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
