“Nice lights for my lowers”

I lost a grill cover on one of my lowers late last season so decided to go with these to give me more visibility. Watching videos and reading instructions it took me just over 2 hours to install. I could easily do this under an hour next time. They light up well, look great, and hazard/turn signals change to amber and flash accordingly. Haven't got the bike out for the year yet but I'm sure they'll light the way.

Their boots are sized wrong and jackets do not fit. Horrible experience. Letting all International people know not to shop here as a courtesy. I am stuck with $300 USA funds and $60 CA customs fees of junk.

Will provide me with a refund but I have to pay for shipping back from Canada which is about 1/2 the cost of the order. Can not afford to fix J &P Cycle mistakes. Their boots are sized wrong and jackets do not fit. Horrible experience. Letting all International people know not to shop here as a courtesy. I am stuck with $300 USA funds and $60 CA customs fees of junk.

DO NOT BUY from J&P Cycle if you live outside of USA.

Products used:
NONE> Boots were made way too small at the ankle. Jackets are made weird and poorly (Scorpion hoodie is made poorly and looks like a rag). NO free return for Canadian shoppers. Stuck with over $400 CA funds of junk.

Placed a $120 order for some miscellaneous parts for my bike, I have ordered from here 4-5 times now and never had an issue. I go into my bank account today and see that I was double charged for this order... I open a live chat and the person on the other end proceeds to tell me "this is normal" and sends me an excerpt from their ToS. Gotta wonder how many people complain if they have that response at the ready so quickly... Said the money will be back in my account in 3-5 business day, I placed the order on 8/7 it is now 8/13 and i'm told 3-5 more business days. This seems rather shady to me and now I have to go back threw my bank statements to make sure this didnt happen before and if it did I actually got my money back. Guess this is the last time I will order from them.

A side note: I quick ordered 5ish items to get in the order by the cut off for "guaranteed same day shipping" and my order wasn't processed for 3 days.

J&P is absolutely terrible! I ordered an "In Stock" item over a week ago and my order still says processing. I tried calling customer service and was on hold for over 20 minutes before reaching someone and they told me that their warehouse was backed up. I cancelled my order and found another company to work with. I'll have it in hand this weekend!

Their standard reply "apologize for the inconvenience".
I was going to buy their Gold Club package, went through most of it and it came up with, HAD TO HAVE A PHYSICAL ADDRESS TO SHIP PACKAGE, how much room in my PO Box does it take to send a credit card size package?
I have no mail delivery at my house, and I have had a lawn mower delivered to my PO box, the only other company I have ever heard of doing this is Disney and I made one call and they said no problem, BUT NOT J&P BICYCLE PARTS, they wanted me to put in the local post office address and then my PO Box #. Who ever thought out this idea is a complete MORON web site only shows most expensive non related parts. I have gone back to the store, and really looked hard at the quality of their products not that good. Will not buy from them ever again, you do not save that much money, not worth the aggravation. This is not the only forum I will be posting on.

They are a garbage company, I've, along with hundreds of other people, have been waiting over a month for a refund on returns. The take the money from your account, send junk, and never refund you. I've opened up a case with the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, and suggeste others do the same. It's easy on line... I'm trying to get a class action Law suit against them. Be warned..

The worst online service I have experienced. J&P advertises item shipped in 3 to 5 business days, bs. My order was placed 7 days ago and I have only received one item. I have been lied to more than once by customer service which I found out because another customer rep told me that I was told that to get me off the phone. I have called everyday after the 5th day and its been one bs story after another. $750.00 order, never again. THE WORST!

Ive ordered so many parts from these guys over the years and constantly get the wrong part, being in australia im sure they ignore all my emails to customer service about sorting it out. They do not respond to anything, what does gold member mean ZIP.
Do not use them they have gone down hill big time, they will say anything to get your money and then send you completely wrong parts. I have so many parts i can't use but no its beyond a joke.
Don't ask their so called technitions for advice on parts as they will treat you like a dumbass and say yes it fits! You ask are you sure? They go, is there anything else we can help you with?

HELLO send the right fx*king parts you smartass, and if someone questions you double check.
$#*! service stay away

I ordered some stuff in late July. The package came in time, but the item was wrong.
For the last 2 weeks I've send their customer service 3 emails asking what they are going to do about it. Despite them saying they usually answer in 24 hours, I haven't received even a generic reply in 15 DAYS.
This is for sure the last time I do business with them, no matter how this turns out.

APPARENTLY THESE CLOWNS CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD FOR $139.00 WITHOUT ME EVER BEING A CUSTOMER. ARE THEY DEALING IN STOLEN CREDIT CARDS NOW? IM IN SO CALI AND HAVE NEVER BOUGHT FROM THEM, BASED ON THE REVIEWS ALONE. NOR DO I OWN A MOTORCYCLE. TURNED INTO FRAUD INVESTIGATION AND LOCAL POLICE DEPT.

While this company claims to have the best return policy in the industry, but it isn't true. I called to see which saddle bag brackets I needed for my Suzuki s40 Boulevard 2019 motorcycle, the person on the phone assured me it's the right part at $54, and to save the company time I ordered online. Big mistake. If you order online they can't track your information, who you spoke with, and refused to cover the cost of return shipping. Even the tech I spoke with trying to get my part on my bike, until he said, on man there's no way it will ever fit, so sorry, I'll notate it on your record... he didn't. Now I'm stuck with the cost of return shipping for something I was told would fit-and there's no way it will with the construction of the saddle bag support part and my motorcycle. Don't buy from these guys, seriously.

I bought a set of progressive front fork shocks for my Harley. Your ad says and I quote "tunable". My Harley is at the Harley dealership in Sherman Texas where they were installed. Now I wanted them adjusted for a little softer ride. J and P cycles LIED they are not adjustable nor are they TUNABLE This is FALSE ADVERTISING and I intend to file complaints against J &P cycles in the morning with every government agency I can find on line.

I am stuck out for 500 hundred dollars to J&P cycles and that does not include what Harley charged me to install them.I have a set of Progressive front shocks that are totally useless according to their advertising

I ordered overnight shipping on instock items 2 days later still in picking. There is a reason why you order overnight shipping. I canceled the order. Customer service makes statements they don't keep. Told them to credit my account and they said we don't take money out till it ships. But there is a hold on my account. Just don't like liars, I will never do business with them again. I should of read the reviews first

I paid to ship items I ordered back to them because it was missing parts. They couldn't send me a shipping label cause it's being shipped out of Hawaii. ( from chat rep) So I paid the shipping. Shipped it out May 25 UPS tracking notification delivered to J & P Cycle on June 2. Customer service manager said it was never received and it's June 18. Lie! When I spoke to the manager he lied about everything and questions me how do they know if I really did put the items in the box. What kind of company says that to a customer. My answer " ask the employee who opened the box" The customer service manager is a con artist tried to keep my refund from me. Never ordering from J & P Cycle AGAIN! Find a honest company that respects its customers, don't order from this company. On their website customer service is a top priority. THAT DEPARTMENT NEEDS IMPROVEMENT BOSSES! Customer service manager didn't want to help me because it's a Friday night and it's late on June 18. (Exactly how he said it to me) I did send them an email that morning but they don't respond, so I had to go onto the online service chat to get help and it was later on in the day. I had to track down any help. Again top customer service is a false. Best way to get answers is on the chat line. Don't you think as a customer I've been waiting long enough for my refund! I would like to say the managers name but I'll just leave his initials DR.

I placed an order on 03/08/18 for a jacket and after 5 days of the order being "in process" even though it was paid for, I called and was told they were waiting for the vendor and my jacket will be in by 03/15/18 and will ship by 03/16/18. I was told to check the status on 03/16/18 and if it still said "in process" to call back. I checked on 03/17/18 and of course had to call and was told the jacket was in and will ship early the following week. Well here we are more than 1/2 way through the following week and it's still "in process". Riding season is about to start and I have no jacket. I should have read the reviews first

After multiple talks with the staff about my product not shipping they said they would pay for expedited shipping when it does ship. After it shipped my tracking number showed standard shipping. I chatted with there staff again and was told we can't do anything anymore. Pretty much lied to me. Better off purchasing from harley as this place will take you 3 weeks to get a seat.

The last five orders have been wrong. I've spent more time returning and printing labels than working on my bike.the last wrong part they said i can keep. That's just perfect parts I don't need Laying around I just want the parts that I ordered and they can't do that right lately

They delivered my package to the wrong person and wrong house! Ive work hard to buy that item for my motorcycle and now it's nowhere to be found! Instead of offering help they will not bother to call you and will tell you to ask UPS about your problem. They don't want to take responsibility and that's how you lose your customers! Don't even bother to chat with their staff because they don't give a $#*! whatever issue you have... it's like you solve your own problem!

I placed an order for tires; one for my husband and one for myself. The tires arrived to our Canadian home within 4 days, which was awesome. My husband's tire is exactly what I ordered. My tire, however, was a substitute for the one I ordered. While it was a Dunlop Elite 3 tire, it was not the 170/80-15 I specified; it was an MV85B15. They substituted one for the other without checking to see if I'd accept a different tire. When I made them aware of the problem, I was told I could certainly return the tire, but that as an international customer, I'd have to cover the shipping myself. J&P was unwilling to acknowledge their responsibility for the situation. Color me unimpressed.

I purchased something in January 2021 from jp cycles I called the next day and cancelled it today May 2021 they took the money out of my bank account I called them to tell them it was cancelled he said there is no record and there's nothing he can do and it is my fault I said there was nothing I could do about his employee not putting a note on the file that it was cancelled and he still said there was nothing he can do. What little money I had in my account is now gone it is also -$900 he would not help me in anyway and told me it was my fault but now I do not want something when it is not convenient I had this cancelled months ago

Don’t waste your breathe they are rude and not helpful at all. They blame everything on you

I made the mistake of signing up for their "gold card membership". I have had nothing but issues from day 1 with this company. They told me an order was not placed so I had to place it again and I decided to go somewhere else then all the sudden weeks later that order went through?! What! So I had to go through the process to return it. Decided I would try once more on a helmet and face shield. Received my item fast and love it. Two days later got a shipping confirmation for THE SAME ORDER. Charred my card again UNAUTHORIZED! What a scam! Now I have to go through this same process with them! I should have learned my lesson the first time. Scam artists. Do not order from them!

Ordered a V-Twin solo seat kit. Said it would fit my 01 Harley 883 Hugger. The bolts that came with it obviously did not fit. My mistake was not sending it back immediately so I set it on the shelf and said I would tackle it at a later date now it's just over a hundred twenty days and I contacted the helpline who said they're very strict about 120-day policy. Nobody's fault I guess except mine but you would figure when you ordered parts that they sell as a kit and say it fits that it would actually fit your motorcycle. I'm so frustrated I'm out $250 stuck with something I can't use. I wish I would have read the reviews prior to ordering from this company. Will never make that mistake again. While I'm at it never order anything from V-Twin manufacturing as they will not give you any customer service because they only deal with legitimate motorcycle businesses, not legitimate motorcycle customers of their products!

I recently purchased a motorcycle headlight that had its pedestal mount assembled off center so the headlight appears crooked when mounted. I informed them and the empliyee asked for photos. Then he told me it was not warranted because I put it on a Kawasaki not a Harley even though it is recommended by them for a Kawasaki. He also said he doesnt think it looks crooked so I am lying. Then he said it can't be returned because it was installed. For a warranty? These guys are completely dishonest and will not stand behind their products, but wold rather come up with every excuse including calling me a liar to avoid raking responsibility. Go elsewhere.

Website said part in stock, ships in 1 day when it didn't arrive after 7 days I called and was told it could take up to 5 days to ship, I told them to cancel and they said its in process and can't be stopped. Total B. S. I'll dispute it with the credit card company and buy else where! Total Scam!

Business History

John Parham was bitten by the motorcycle bug early in his life. His enthusiasm led to a partnership in a small motorcycle shop from 1975 to 1979. In 1979 he and his wife, Jill, established J. Parham Enterprises, Inc., the predecessor to the present J&P Cycles, Inc. During this time, John still worked full-time and followed his "hobby" in the evening and weekends. In 1982 John was laid off from his factory job. Two years later, in 1984, their small motorcycle shop burned to the ground.
When they easily could have given up, they didn't! Instead, they decided to rebuild the shop, and run the business full-time. Today, J&P Cycles has grown from one employee to over 300. In addition to the Anamosa, IA location warehouse, in 2007 a new 35,000 square foot facility opened in Ormond Beach, FL. At Destination Daytona. The new location features a 15,000 square foot retail space and separate call center.
