I bought a pillion seat for my bike but the oem seat bolt for the single seat wouldn't work. I needed a spool washer that could bolt the single seat down as usual, and provide a post and groove for the pillion seat to slide into. J&P had what I needed, and it arrived faster than expected, which is always a welcome surprise. Added bonus is that the spool washer isn't a giant eye soar so when the passenger seat if off, I don't HAVE to switch back to the oem bolt.
I was shopping on a site 8 hrs away from me, I thought, turns out it wasn't. Thought my purchase would ship from 8 hrs away from my location, it didn't. Shipped from New Jersey using FedEx, which is a horrible company! Very misleading website will not trust this company again!
The ordering and shipping was fantastic. The pants… the sizing is way off! They were 5X in size and according to the sizing chart not even close to a 5X even with taking out the two liners. They are more like an XL!
The gasket between the carb and air cleaner backing plate in fact "did not"fit. #431-238 the line up holes in the gasket are much smaller than the pins on my backing plate. I also tore the gasket trying to make the holes bigger. My bike is a 1999 F XD superglide with a stock carb and backing plate. At the end I reused the original. No big deal, just a heads up.

I ordered the vans ODI grips for a 24 Lowrider and I was a little confused on the website and ended up ordering black instead of Gray spoke to one of your representatives. He was fantastic. I did end up keeping the black ones instead of re-ordering.
Aside from me wanting to change my order the glove size from xl to a large and sent the email to them before the order was received and they shipped them out without seeing the email first they are definitely fast at shipping but I've bought a few things from jp cycles I definitely recommend jp cycles to my riding buddys

I ordered a Kuryakyn accessory that had been out of stock or back ordered. I was pleasantly surprise to get an email from J&P indicating the part was back in stock. I ordered and had possession of it in about 4 days.
Purchased a bell modular helmet and cardo blue tooth system. The salesman, Chris, was very helpful and was very knowledgeable of the products. He helped me select the best cardo system to suit my needs.
I've been going through my softail and replacing all the gaskets trying to solve the blowing oil problem. So far everything is a perfect match except for the small rectangular gaskets for the rocker covers. They were just too small compared to originals. Other than thar so far so good

The pulley was great, but unfortunately I had to return it because it was too wide for my bike. The pulley that fits my bike had to be 20mm wide and this one was for 1 1/8" belt and too wide for my fat tire. The return was easy and in a short time got my refund minus shipping. I've bought many parts before and have always been satisfied.
Shopping for this item was easy and description was accurate. Delivery was prompted and in good order. All hardware needed to install was complete, but the length of bolts were a little too long and had to shortened. Mounting bolts for the saddle bags could be lived with, but the bolts going through fender and strut were a little too long for clearance to the side of tire. This may not be an issue with all bikes, ( Mine is a FXSTI Softail with a 200 tire). The mounting of the bags to the bracket is determined by the clearance and size of saddlebags and the mounting and release of the brackets is easy and the locking tab holds everything in place. I like this mounting system because I don't need the bag brackets any more and you can remove bags for much easier cleaning and when running without bags you don't notice the mounting lugs that much.
Order the twin scan 4 for my 22 road king. It needs a seperate adaptor for this year tha tdoesnt come with it. When asked why i got an email for a par number that didint exist. I wasted two weeks waiting for answers.
Ordered my pinlock insert and then waited for over a week just for me to get an email saying it's on backorder and then waited like another week. Shipping took over 2 weeks in total. I really needed it for a ride I was going on but had to deal with fogging up
The par was shipped on 23 March from the Shipper but it never got tracking information, when i called it was not their problem it was the postal system, when asked what they were going to do about me detting my part i eas told to wait until the end of the week and see if it came in, it did not! When i called back I was tolds to wait it would be delivered! Poor service on their end! The part did finally arrive on sunday 13 days after it first shipped!
I paid for "Next Day" delivery when I placed my order on Saturday. I got the runaround initially. When I called customer service, the man refunded my fee for "Next Day" delivery. The "Next Day" delivery is BS. I got my order less than a week later but I couldn't ride since the clutch cable snapped. I got my order (finally) and had it installed. The customer service guy I spoke with was great! I just think the "NeXT Day" delivery is BS! Extremely misleading! But my bike is finally able to ride again.

Had to call in the website was a little Larry on my brake pads for my trike so I talk called customer service and they walked me through what I needed and now it was delivered today I appreciate that good job
Bought a new seat on different order and seat was defective. Emails right away and was told deal with manufacturer. I understand but still sucks i gotta deal with it and bought with intent to put on and ride. Shouldn't have bought else where and paid the $60 more and but had the hassle of getting product fixed before I can enjoy it
I was installing new 18" Dominator handlebars on my 2019 Road King and needed new brake lines and clutch line. I found the L. A. Choppers kit but description said it had a clutch cable not clutch line. J&P Cycles looked into it and verified that it was indeed a clutch line. I purchased and installed them, and they look great.
Wrong item spokes were wrong. Put them on Rem they could not be True because the spoke was the wrong one so I wanted to send everything back and your customer support said they might not accept it and they might send it back to me not impressed I've been with you guys for 20 years

As for the material, I do believe that it is a synthetic leather material but I cant find a direct answer to that on Cobra's site so I am not 100% sure.
