I hired Jordan to do my wedding photos last year after loving her style of photography and reading all the reviews on Wedding Wire. Now I know those reviews are cherry picked by the vendor and I wonder if they are even real. The day of the wedding went well, Jordan and her second shooter were great, very professional and organized. But when it came time to deliver the gallery (4 months after the wedding, the very latest to deliver according to her own contract which is nearly twice the time of other wedding photographers), she had excuses about why she was running late and promised to get them to me a week later. That week came and went, nothing and no communication from her. Long story short, we finally got our photos nearly a month late with only an apology. If I was the only one this ever happened too, ok, everyone has life issues that come up. But unfortunately I recently learned from a local wedding vendor (not in photography) that Jordan is expensive and often late delivering her photos. Another bride who hired her last year had a similar experience. If you are going to charge the most and take the most time on wedding photos and claim to be a professional, then as the customer I expect better communication and timely delivery of the photos I paid for in full well in advance (which apparently is also not the norm, others charge half up front and the rest on delivery). The photos themselves came out well, but have been soured by the experience. If you hire her, as I did, for the gorgeous, magazine quality photos she produces, be warned it could take more than 4 months after your wedding to even get a sneak peak, let alone the actual gallery.
