CAUTION! Unrelated Jobs Spam Your Inbox - AND, Even Worse..
February 13, 2020

* First - I nearly never write online reviews, I read a lot but don't often ever post. Seeing as I was moved to write one here, that may tell you something

FINE PRINT - why is it called that? Colloquially, terms and conditions on an often long contract were put in fine print to save room but in the last decades It is more to make it a chore to read - thus to move forward the bet is you'll skip it. Hello Apple. They Kniw Thus. It is merely human nature even more so now in our society where we want everything now' - they know that.

If you don't realize it, you'll be signing up for all their partner' sites. I don't know if each gets credit for clicks - but I signed up for JobCase and got another 5 or 6 sites spamming my inbox. MY Fault for agreeing but it all feels like little more than clickbait

Second- not a Single ONE of any of the links in any of the emails, JibCase or others, led to any job I was qualified for. Their process seems to be to have an algo / program / or A. I. sift through a resume for buzzwords and like spaghetti against the fridge, hope something sticks.

A familiar email will have 3 links each may say "John L. Tim! I just stumbled across [insert a job title/heading from your resume here] and thought you may find this job posting interesting."

Then two more below it such as "Amy R. Tim, I just." and
"Derek S. Tim! Hey, I happened across your..." All were a Bust-

Then another dozen emails more than half like this one or emails that list job titles in boxes with links and titles such as "Stocker, Costco, Trainer, Packer, Dupage County Gov't". I am only qualified for ONE of those - trainer - and when I clicked every lead was baloney.

This Shotgun approach does a disservice to You (and them) because it seems they are simply a link aggregator, which all but guarantees 99% of the job links will not work for you.

I'm a college grad with over a decade in the job force so I cannot speak for a new grad's experience, someone in the trades looking for legit albeit blue collar work or min. Wage jobs.

I literally just went through over a dozen of their emails - from only the last day and a half - checked over 24 links total (& all were a bust) then spent another 25 minutes unsubscribing, deleting each and marking as junk.

YOUR TIME IS AMONGST THE MOST IMPORTANT RESOURCES YOU HAVE, And You Can Never Get It Back - - SO DON'T WASTE IT

Stick with the legit sites such as: LinkedIn, Ziprecruiter, Glassdoor & others
