IXL

Ok so i have report card today buti think ixl might ruin it it could probaly be a oe b and all c i am scared if it wasnt for this program i could have been a top student considering I am in private school and i have to do this ixl every day i sneak this on splitscreen to show my feelings about ixl i have got new account soo closse to all nesting dolls and every time i et so close to 60 getting only 2 points per question i get one wrong back to 52 yay if you dont belive me look at this

Ixl do too much it makes u go back so far when u miss one answer and if u at 95 its pushes u back to 83 it make me mad cause i been working on ixl forn 2 hrs they need to be banned or re make this betta when u at 93 it pushes u back to 85 thats just not right

Honestly as one of ixl's students am very happy with ixl. It really does help me get better. I understand some kids don't like the fact it bumps you down ten points when you get a question wrong but I honestly love it, as it helps me try harder so I won't be bumped down which helps me get better grades because it makes me try harder on other things too and I love the fact that it repeats questions gives me a chance to reanswer the ones I got wrong and remember the ones I got right.

IXL is a good website, despite sometimes not grasping the formulas we are taught in class, and it makes me and a lot of other people angry that it bumps you down 10 points. Despite that, it's a GOOD thing. It's training your brain to get questions correct so the SmartScore can go up to 100. Despite all of the criticizing reviews, I believe that IXL is GOOD. At least you're not doing iReady (ugh).

I have had IXL for a day. I hate it. I had it in 3rd grade and I remember it being really bad. The fact the developers haven't done anything in 6 years to change it shows how crap this app is and how little it is cared for by people that don't need to use it. If I was in a room with Stalin, Hitler and the creator of IXL, and a gun with 2 bullets. I would shoot the creator of IXL twice. Thank you for your time. If I could give 0 stars I would.

It is so fricken stressful when you get to 99 get one wrong and it brings you back to 79, and then it gives you 2 points for each you get right. It is sometimes wrong and gives you bs answers. I have so much ixl I have to do 62 ixl to do and that is just for one part out of five. Overall super stressful and more infuriating rather than making you smart.

My name is Brian Jiang, and as a middle school student in FMS, I have realized that the harder the IXL question, the fewer points you get. This, along with the fact that the IXL smart score guidelines say they factor in the difficulty of the problems, is troubling. Also, IXL has a consistent number of points lost when you get things wrong. IXL is a good company with nice ideas, but, sad to say, they are poorly done and no one would want to do it except when asked to.

You clearly hate kids, and decided to make this bull$#*!ting "educational" "teaching" website. I really hope the $#*!ing worst from you. You only get 2-3 points up, but when you get a question wrong it goes down by like $#*!ing 6. I really hope you $#*!ing die you ugly bastard. Honestly I would eat dog poop rather then doing this.

1. Ixl causes LOTS OF STRESS.
2. people can cry over it ((guess what CUZ OF STRESS!)
3. ITS SYSTEM is rigged, (ex I got to 98 and it brought me down to 81 ixl this your program?)
4. Its stupid little lEarNINg this are terrible and barley make sense half of the time.

I have read that this app should be banned from the world and I am here to protect you from this stupid app. At home it makes your parents feel dumb and you will want to bribe the principal of your school to get a ban on this stupid app. My experience with it has always been negative but I am trying to control my tears. 2 students switched to home school in Sebastian middle school so that they wouldn't have to get IXLs ever again. Please stop students from getting IXL homework and teachers from assigning them. Some even passed away and probably broke the law. So I'm pleased to let you know that IXL is almost banned all we have to do is sign all of the pitons to ban this stupid app and then 1 person should go to sue the founders of IXL all the way to the top of the court system. I just notified them about negative reviews and gave them a last chance to fix by June or may. Comment below if they haven't made it yet. It looks like they won't fix their mistakes. Also if your teachers give you IXLs and they yell at you for not doing them tell them you're protesting because this app should be illegal from the entire country.

Ixl is trash its score system is trash everything about it is so trash and i just want to say that i cry every time I do ixl it doesn't help me the only thing it does is make my life even trash and my life is already trash I don't understand why they make there point system like this just improve it and people will like your app more yet you are like in slaving millions of kids doing this sad depressing dumb saying its helping but its just trash and so is its trash owner Paul that doesn't understand us and i would give you a 0 review ratting but i cant so fix that to.

So let me just say IXL is the greatest website ever FOR TORTURING STUDENTS! I SAW ONE KID IN MY CLASS BANG HER HEAD ON A BOOK WHILE SOBBING BECAUSE OF IXL AND I KEPT GETTING THEM WRONG AND THEY WOULD SET ME BACK 10 POINTS! ITS LIKE STUDY ISLAND BUT WORSE! ALSO WHY DO WE HAVE TO GIVE IT ONE STAR IT SHOULD HAVE ZERO STARS

Apparently teachers still do not understand that THIS SITE IS NOT GOOD AND SHOULD NEVER EVER< EVER BE USED! I am assigned 3 topics a week, and even that's extremely annoying. IXL takes away so many points any time you get one question wrong. In the challenge zone (90 points and up) it will give only one point for every question correct, and then has a fun time bringing you down to like 84 points when you get one wrong. If I could give this horrible, awful, annoying, and terrible website zero stars, definitely would. If a teacher is reading this DO NOT MAKE YOUR STUDENTS GO THROUGH THE PAIN OF DOING EVEN ONE TOPIC A WEEK!

Ixl is a perfect example of what not to do when making a learning website. It punishes you too much for messing up once. It takes ages to get a single skill done let alone multiple, and it gets extrememly hard in the 90s and you go down more. There was once a time I spent over 1 hour on a single skill and over 100 questions. Even using google didn't help, and I am no idiot. I am quite smart., but that does not matter when it is designed in a way to torture people. It should either, give you multiple chances, or give you a redemption question thats different than the original. Not bump you from 93 to 78 from one question (that has happened to me). It has not helped me at all learn anything. All it has done is put me through hell and tell me that I have to do that again, and once I do it again they scream "Oncore."

IXL is honestly great... IF YOU WANT TO FIND A WAY TO TORTURE YOUR KIDS!

1) Videos don't go into depth about what you're learning
2) You lose too many points when you make a mistake
3) The explanation of why I got a question wrong is not clear to me
4) Lack of fun or interaction while doing the skills. (It feels more like you're doing problem after problem to just finish instead of trying to learn.)

Don't use IXL because of these reasons!
