Issuu is really easy to use and they've added more integrations such as with Canva. We've used it to create digital magazines that offer local resources and generate brand awareness. With our subscription level, we can remove watermarks, embed, etc., which is key. We've gotten great feedback, have embedded them on websites, and see high read times, increasing time on page and boosting SEO. Their other features like GIFs are really handy and quick to create. I'm looking forward to using Visual Stories and producing more great content through our Issuu subscription.

I found content on Issuu's website that violates their Community Standards and Terms of Service. It contained personally identifiable information on a great number of people and the textual descriptions of the posted content made defamatory/libelous claims against individuals that is false. I've been trying to report this to Issuu for a week. I've tried every phone number I can find and emailed every email address I could find. I've left voicemails and gotten zero responses (via call or email). Finally I realized they had a live chat feature for paying subscribers so I created an account and subscribed... only to not see the live chat feature available via the help widget like their website states you should. I would VERY MUCH like to hear from someone at Issuu to help me get this content removed from their website as quickly as possible.

I would VERY MUCH like to hear from someone at Issuu to help me get this content removed from their website as quickly as possible.

I have been trying to delete / deactivate my account and customer services has taken days to get back to me and has me going in circles. I've tried to delete account several times and it says "service unavailable". Customer service has been offered no help. I've tried emailing several times, and calling the 800 #, left voicemails and no one has gotten back to me. This company is a scam. Do NOT USE THEM!

Issuu has the WORST customer service. I cannot find the user name or password for the account I inherited at work without their help, and so can't get to the dashboard. Issuu will NOT let you talk to a human, only stupid drop down menus, each more ridiculous than the last. I'd love to hear from a human there, but it looks like they just have sales people intent on continuing to foist this product on the public. TALK TO ME, ISSUU!

I advertised on Geelong Inderpendant 5 years ago & my phone number is still on Google ISSUU what an invasion of privacy
The scammers can easily access private information.

Nobody was properly informed of these changes and they are severely limiting what we can and cannot publish. The document and file sizes are ridiculous. This will be the reason I no longer use ISSUU. Such a disappointment.

Starting in January, an email went out to all past and current Issuu users notifying them of changes to our free Basic plan. We sent this out to all users associated with this plan type to inform them about upcoming limitations to their publications and give them time to assess their account, even if it had not been used in years.

When I search for doll magazines, I also get child sex doll publications and catalogs. Repulsive. What company allows these? Will not use ISSUU for ANYTHING.

I set up my sales with Issuu because I liked the way they present books. They looked pretty professional.

But at $45 per month I would expect a lot more traction from potential customers. Another service I use is free and sells way more units. I'm now locked out of my account- Can't even cancel- and I'm still being charged.

Steer clear.

They charged my account $445 for an auto renewal. It was difficult to figure out how to stop the service. I am not pleased with their policy.

I've signed up for Issuu 12 years ago when it was free for up to 500 pages per publication. Despite a couple of UX bugs it was the best free publishing services for magazines.
I used it to publish our non-commercial student magazine and the idea was to have it free and accesible for public. I even embeded the publications on various sites.
Recently, I discovered all the magazines are hidden from public view?! Reason: they sneakily changed the terms and conditions and now demand 28 dollars per month to keep the magazines that I already had uploaded years ago! On tom of that, the upload dates are scrambled, the statistics are gone, and the whole site feels like a ghost town. Sad indeed.
I will move to another service, which is a pain since I'll have to re-embed all the old publication links.

A bunch of crooks, run away to see another alternative.

As a communications agency and after having worked with dozens of plugins, this is arguably the worst company I have worked with.

Now unable to get a refund for an unused service.

Instead, use "Calaméo"

As an occasional art teacher, I am constantly on the lookout for inspiration on everything that's connected with crafting, woodworking, printing and general DIY-ing. Issuu used to be my go-to source for this field as well as many others. A while ago, I noticed a decline in the quality as well as in the quantity of the content which is now reduced to company catalogs and "previews" of rather irrelevant books (2021). I've logged on to Issuu maybe 2-3 times this year and found that a lot of books are missing from my library. Seems like publishers are avoiding Issuu and so am I now.

I have used issuu for years, and have a premium account. However, a recent set of publications which I posted privately have resulted in both requirements that people sign up, and, even worse, a more complicated sign up by phone page. Other pages they have referred me to show broken links.

This has cost me not only a great deal of time and embarassment, but also money. Their response has been only to insist that this is not happening, and to refer me to pages with broken links. Here are the two pages which users of my links arrive at.

Tip for consumers:
Check out the other online magazine apps first. I think issuu is going under. Its customer service is dishonest and its product is a disaster.

This is the first time I come across with a company that charged me without my authorization and did not even accept my refund request within acceptable period. It is even hard to find their contact information and they do not have any phone customer service. In the email response, they just reminded me how clearly they explained the annual charge policies and I did not follow them. This is the worst company ever. They charged me an annual amount $449 with no clear refund instruction. I am not an artist but just a regular first time user of Issuu. Why should I go purchase annual premium plan? But from now, I will post this problem on every platform so to show them customer is bigger than Issuu. I also reported it to Paypal as an unauthorized charge and will wait the result.

I wish I had looked into this service beforehand. Signed up for a 15 day free trial. They billed me the same day. I tried to reach customer service. They are unreachable except by intercompany email. I got a computer generated reply. It's been days and days and still no reply. I see here that others have been unable to receive a refund as well. Unbelievable! I'm going to my bank today to ensure that cannot bill me a second time.

This Issuu site has placed my name, my business and the name of my publication up saying that we were a scam. First and foremost, I never, ever, ever signed up with Issuu. Therefore, they should not have anything representing my publication, my name or anything else. I reached out to Issue on March 5,2019 and they said that they were addressing the issue. Today I go through Google and find something very uncomplimentary about my publication which lists my name. Issuu is now a party in a Libel and Slander matter.

Unusable. Bar on bottom is not controllable. Also once you download on an iPhone, you are screwed because you can't use on any larger device. Also no contact information. We will never buy anything published by this company

They charged me a ridiculous amount of money ($420) and all the responses I get from them are the same (they can't give me a full refund because of the policy.) It would've been great if they sent me a warning email the day before the trial ended as most companies with subscriptions usually do. A lot of other companies also has grace period for a full refund but ISSUU doesn't care about that. I am willing to pay for the first month but now they are just ignoring me and not wanting to resolve the issue.

This site deserves 0 stars. It is unbelievable! They tried to take $420 out of my account when it is so unclear. Absolutely hoodwinked and they make it impossible to cancel your account or receive any help in the slightest. I believe they have made their website purposefully IMPOSSIBLE to navigate so that they can carry on trying to take peoples money. Do not be fooled by them!

Signed up to free trial - the publishing itself is not great, you're better off uploading a pdf file. The functionality is basic. But worst of all, unethical practice not to notify customers when free trial ends, bill immediately and not offer refund or partial refund if you cancel the subscription before the end of a billing cycle. I'm out of pocket 400USD despite cancelling the first day of the billing cycle. Highly unethical no care for customers.

I'm shocked of being charged 200 with my knowing as I meant to sign up for the free plan, and they are not available for refund. They are just unreachable.
This is a highly unprofessional manner.
A pure fraud.
It'a pity as I was really curious about this company and it's functions.

Awful! I tried isuu today to check them out before going for a premium, but it seems that this site is totally scam!, They charge me $1.00 USD after putting my credit details. It seems this SIte is a FRAUD! And to warn you guys! THEY ARE COLLECTING CREDIT DETAILS! I am totally suspicious right now and will try to cancel my credit card immediately or change it! BE CAREFUL OF THIS SITE!

I can't believe they charge me for 420$ and don't communicate with me at all when I want to cancel because I won't use it. I'd be happy to pay and be charged for one month as a punishment for my stupidity, but such huge amount? Really? And no answers at all after many emails from my side? I work for NGOs and we will never use their services again. This is just super unfair and a pure robbery.

Around late January, 2020 I was checking my e-mail and noticed a message stating "Welcome to the Issuu publishing community". I was like "Who is Issuu?" So I clicked on the link and it took me to a cheesy looking so called publishing site for writers and artists. I knew the second I saw the page I had never signed up. The reason I knew? Because I am a published writer world wide in several languages and I own my own publishing Co. And have distribution through a couple of outlets. I don't need Issuu. Here's what I feel happened. I think they saw my books somewhere. Then searched my name for my business e-mail and signed me up without my knowing or permission, not knowing I hardly need them or what seems like their criminal activities. So I made a new password and signed in because I didn't know the password someone had made up for me. I then deleted the page. Very pathetic and disgusting and scummy if you ask me?

I was unaware of Auto Renewal. One year later a $420 charge appeared via email. I emailed back within the hour to refund the charge & don't renew (politely). Nope. We have a policy. It was in the fine print. (You know that scrolling conglomerate of ipso/facto crap you can't understand if you want to.) OMG! Bank reversed the charge & ISSUU produced the fine print to them. Bank told me they can't override that so I'm stuck with the $420 charge. This cannot seriously be allowed in business. I'm beyond frustrated!

Feel tricked into signing up for a very expensive annual fee when I only wanted 3 months. Not clear on their website that this will happen and no warning. Now they are not responding to my emails. BEWARE!
