Isla Mujeres has a lot of rental options, and that is what made it so difficult to make a choice. Thanks to Isla Mujeres Vacations, I was able to find a beautiful secluded location to stay. Love it!
Three weeks before scheduled arrival, we paid $595 USD in advance for large golf cart rental for 6 days through IslaMujeresVacations website. Jose, the business owner, contracted with PRISMA for the large golf cart even though PRISMA has negative reviews from hundreds of reviewers on TripAdvisor to include unavailable Large Golf Cart after advance payment for rental. Unsurprisingly, the golf cart was not available upon arrival and we were still waiting for it next day throughout the morning after countless promises for delivery within 30 minutes if we just could wait for it. Jose kept making excuses and refused to refund the almost $600 charged for the rental when asked. He clearly does not care that it is an awful way to start a vacation and the importance of customer service when your business is the middle man between customer and providers.
