I purchased a wedding dress and it was faulty with fishing wire hanging out also appeared poor quality the customer service was so bad that they didnt reply to me at all then replied 5 days later and seemed to be an automated message no matter what i wrote i seem to get an automated message. Now they are saying i can pay shipping both ways and if they dont think its faulty which it is and i sent them photos of the faults. Im at their mercy to decide if its faulty or not. Been going on for weeks. Dont do it dont buy from inwedding dress you will regret it. Im now in process of contacting consumer affairs.

I bought a short wedding dress for my daughter. She is a college student and doesn't live at home. When finally coming home at the end of the semester, she tried on the dress and it didn't fit. I emailed customer service about a clean exchange, all shipping at my expense, and they refused to work with me! DO NOT order from these people. I paid $228 for this dress and found it cheaper on another site! Shop around!

This business is a scam. The dresses in the photos are not what they send you. You cannot get your money back. They are in China and some people are ok with accepting a knock off version of the dress in the photo but for $200-300 why would you want a cheaply made, cheap looking, ill fitting dress that scratches your skin? That's all they create. Do not gamble. The photos are lies. The joke is on you. Order a dress. Laugh. Or cry when it arrives. A half blind 8 year old must have made mine. Its stupid these people are allowed to do what they do. So angry. I need a dress! Back to the drawing board. Enjoy my money, jerks.

I ordered a dress for my son's wedding. The color was completely off from the swatch provided when I ordered it. It was supposed to be champagne which is a tannish gold color. It was almost white when I received it. They refused to take it back and refund my money because it was a customer order. They would not own up to their mistake. Do not shop here... Shop local!

My fiance and I are busy people. Her dress was delivered and we couldn't get to the packag for a few days. Then, we found that their return policy was such that you had very little time to request a return number. We were sent a dress that was not accurate to the photos on the site, and are now told by Jenny Foley, "Too bad, so sad." Read the fine print with these people because they are trapping folks into paying for dresses and not letting you return them. We will be headed to our bank to request a reverse payment to get our money back and file a fraud claim.

The dress came in two different colours and damaged. Horrible customer service and they don't do returns. They say they do but then only return 20% of what you paid.

Stay away from this website. I ordered a dress and they refused to cancel the order. The dress was not an accurate depiction of the advertised product, was made with flaws and stunk of chemicals. The company's return policies are a joke. They encourage you to resell the item which I could not do to some unsuspecting buyer. They keep 30% of your charge for a "restocking fee" plus charge you for their shipping costs. You have five days to provide the company with a tracking number or no refund is issued. In checking with UPS, the charge to ship this back was $128 as they have no local US distributor and it must be returned to their sweatshop in China. I am older and this was a second marriage, so I will throw the dress in a Goodwill bin for someone to use as a Halloween costume. I feel awful for any young brides scrimping and saving for their bridal gown only to get scammed by companies like this. PLEASE stay away!

Well after reading all the positive reviews on ordering and when they got the dresses thought why not! My gf ordered her bridesmaids dress sept 22 and was to be shipped out sept 29 after countless E-mail`s couldn't track the package and finally a rep msged back and miraculously tracked it. So Oct 9 the package had been dispatched from China way later than expected. Oh and if you have a PO BOX address it takes even longer to be delivered even after paying your rush order. But didn't know that until after the order went through. Terrible experience with this online shop. Do not recommend unless u want to be emailing and tracking non stop. Currently it is Oct. 12 and still no dress! The wedding is in 10 days. Thanks inweddingdress

I ordered a dress for my daughter for my wedding and it had a rhinestone belt which came rusted! Since it was a custom order they will not give me my money back. I get the custom order thing but seriously when it comes with rust on it? All I was offered was the stupid $20 off coupon. I don't have time to order another one and I don't have another $200 to spend to fix their horrible product. They no longer will respond to my emails because they told me they took pictures of the dress before it shipped and I asked to see them. Horrible customer service!

Do NOT use this company... They will not give you a return on your order. I never even got my order... I cancelled it and lost 1/3 of my payment! Terrible business model. I paid $311 and only got $200 back... How is that right when I didn't even get the product?

This company is in China. They wouldn't allow me to return my dress because I ordered a custom color, but that was the main problem. It was not the color I ordered. They offered me $10 off another order. As though I would be dumb enough to dump more of my money on a different dress! On top of that the dress did not look like photo. The site is a scam. Do not order!

Received dress not the colour expected nor did look exactly as picture.
Asked for instructions how to return and get refund.
Will not give me either as I picked a colour from swatch? But the dress was just a regular size and I am sure could be put back into stock

I think this is poor customer relations and would never recommend them, I am out of pocket and still no dress for my sons wedding

The dress I received did not look like the picture, it was a diferent color and material, a very stiff tick satin. Also, I was not allowed to return the dress because it was custom made according to my measurements. Company based in China.

DO NOT use this company for any wedding decisions what so ever! What they sell is not as advertised. I bought a wedding dress & had it altered to my measurement. It was delivered two sizes too big. When I asked for a full refund they refused.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE! I just received my dress and it is the cheapest, ugliest dress I've ever seen. It looks nothing like the photo and in order to return it, I need to spend $45 to ship it back to China, a 30% restocking fee and less the original shipping. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND ORDER FROM ANYWHERE BUT HERE! I've never been so disappointed in customer service or a companies product..

I searched and searched for the perfect wedding gown and thought I found it on this site. I was so excited when I ordered it and couldn't wait for it to arrive. There were no updates on the website so I emailed to find out when my order would arrive. I received a reply that they would get back to me with a tracking number. They didn't. I was out of work sick with the flu for a week and the dress was delivered in that time. I was not notified. When I finally got back to work it was already past their "5 business day" return period. I took the dress home so excited to finally try it on. I was disappointed to find the dress folded into a small package and wrinkled beyond belief! But, the worst part was when I put it on and I could have fit another person in it with me! The dress was huge. I don't know if it's possible to alter something this ill-fitting but it can't be cheap. Not to mention, I'm out of time. So, I emailed the company to find out about returning it and they told me that it was past the deadline and I was welcome to buy another dress and they would give me like $10 off. Are you kidding me?!? It was bad enough I was going to suffer the 30% restocking fee for their bad sizing, now I'm getting nothing and I don't feel like I can sell the dress because I don't know what size to advertise it as. Oh! And the "customer service" person told me that wedding attire is always sized differently. Well, guess what. I went to David's Bridal and my size fit perfectly. No alterations required. I did try a second time to appeal to them about my illness and the fact that they didn't send me the tracking number as promised. Of course, no reply. I am a huge online shopper and I am always very careful. I let the dress cloud my judgement on this one.

I bought my wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses and groomsmen ties off this site. They arrived all crushed into the smallest back each other them covered in creases. I thought that this was the worst part, until me and my bridesmaids put the dresses on. They were disgusting! The quality of the fabric was terrible, synthetic stuff and the designs did not match the pictures in the website at all.
The bridal gown was extremely heavy and there was an attachment on the back that fell off with less than three steps as I practiced walking in it.
The lace was tearing away from the top of the bridesmaid dresses and one of the zippers wouldn't do all the way up.
Not only were their products bad, but their customer service was terrible. They were rude and refused to give a refund until PayPal stepped in on my behalf.
After I thought everything was over, they requested that I send a cheap "free gift" bag back that I had forgotten to send back because it was not an item I had purchased and the dispute had gone on so long. They refused to take any offers of a "pay off" only to make me go to the trouble of sending back the bag as well.
Needless to say, ALL of inweddingdress.com products are MADE IN CHINA despite the fact that they don't mention it on their website and they out source their makers so the consistency across products is practically non-existent. Do not buy from them.

I made the mistake of ordering a dress because my dream dress was too expensive for me to buy from the actual designer. Do not let the pictures fool you. These are cheap dresses that are made with poor quality parts. I received the dress in the mail and the zipper was broken, so I was not able to try it on. The beading on the dress was not the same as the picture and the "organza" bottom was terribly tacky. I tried to return the dress due to the broken zipper and they were not willing to provide a refund for a dress that I can not even wear.

The only reason why I give them 1 star is because the delivery was quick! Other than that STAY AWAY from this website! I ordered a dress which looked so elegant and my dream dress! All I can say it is the most hideous bit of tat! I have ever seen! It came 2 sizes too small! The material was cheap and the lovely lace sleeves just looked like one of my Nans doileys! I asked to return it and they said we recommend you keep it or sell it as they knock off 30% of what you pay as a restocking fee! I decided to see how much the post office charge to send snack and it was really expensive. There was no point as I wouldn't get hardly anything back! I was so disappointed! If you don't have money to waste then please do not order from them!

BEWARE OF THIS WEBSITE! Do NOT purchase unless you know 100% that you will not need to make ANY changes. After purchasing my dress, I found out I was pregnant. When I contacted customer service to see if I could exchange the dress I received a general response "Your order is past the 5 day exchange mark." aka NO. That was it, that was all I received after sending a long, detailed email about how I love the dress but just wanted to exchange it. After FOUR more attempts at contacting them I finally sent a negative email saying that this was awful customer service and asked to speak with a manager, Jenny Foley (who offers the WORST customer service I have ever experienced, both online and in person, not to mention poor use of a comma) replied with "your order, it is not eligible for return, and your case is closed"

That's it. That's all. No trying to work with a pregnant woman, just pure and blatant rudeness.

THIS COMPANY DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR!
Very deceptive advertising. The dress came much later than the 5-7 days the web-site says several times. It actually says 5-7 SHIPPING DAYS. They are not up front and tell you that the dress doesn't ship for almost two weeks.
Then, when the dress came, it was completely the wrong size. I wear a perfect 10, and ordered a perfect 10, following their size chart, but the dress was way too small.
You only have 5 days to return purchases to them and there is a $30 RESTOCKING FEE!
IF YOU CAN GET THE INFO TO RETURN IT! WHICH I CAN'T! The dress came with no sales receipt or return info. I went online and couldn't get to the webpage to enter my info to get an RMA number. I emailed their CONTACT US page to explain. NO answer. I kept emailing, every day, and now, 5 days later, they finally emailed me back and asked for the copies of the previous emails, WHICH I DON'T HAVE BECAUSE I USED THEIR 'CONTACT US' PAGE AND IT DOESN'T COPY TO MY EMAIL - WHICH I'M SURE THEY KNOW! Now I'm sure that they will explain that it's too late to return the dress!

I ordered a standard size dress for my son's wedding. When I tried it on the bodice was way too big, like I was swimming in it. I am so disappointed. Then when I went to look for a return address and order number or return information, there was none. That's when I noticed this company is in China. I sent them an email asking for return authorization, but have little hope that anything can be done. I will not pay an additional $75 to ship it back. It cost me almost $200 to start with, $20 extra for being a plus size, additional $30 for the scarf, and $25 shipping. Perhaps I can get a seamstress friend of mine to help me alter it, but I would say to everyone, run, run as fast as you can from this site. Wish I had found these reviews before I purchased it.
