I had the worst experience with them. I recommend that you do not use it.
I live in Switzerland and wanted to order a globe for my husband birthday. I could have ordered the same item from Amazon for more Monday but I do not because I found a dealer in USA who can add a personalized metal plate with engrave. I found that a really nice idea as a birthday gift so I ordered it through the dealer of supplier, which was international check out.
First of all, they do not accept my credit card which was maestro. I had to use bank transaction. When I placed the order, I was surprised how much I had to pay for the shipping and handling. But on top of that, I paid another 30USD for bank transaction as I was told in their offer. I thought, okay, with the personalized metal plate, it was still worthy it and cheaper then ordering from germany. So I did the transaction which turned out to be a big mistake.
I was told about 5 days later, that they receive the money but it was 8USD too little. Do not know why. But was told maybe the bank charge a bit too much. However, I did the second transaction and explain them the goods was for a birthday, if they can order the goods to the shop. I explained the attached the second bank transaction. Was told no. They will not do anything till the full amount was received.
Another 10 days later I think, they received the full amount and order the goods and shipped it.
I was very disappointed after receiving the good, because the metal plate-the reason I ordered it from this company- was missing. The globe itself is okay. But metal was missing. 3 days later, another envelope arrived and it was the metal plate inside. It looks nothing like on the website. My husband and I are very very disappointed. The metal plate was a piece of sticker. And the content was wrong! Funny thing was, I wrote the content twice. Once on the website of the supplier, once to international checkout when they wrote to ask me for the content.
I will never order anything from them again. I feel once you sent them the money, they do not care for you and all is just in their hands. I was told there are about 10USD balance from last purchase. But I do not want it anymore. Never again. Do not do business with them. I am happy I did not have to return or claim anything. That would have been another endless nightmare.
I was looking for a headphone. I searched online and found one, which suits to my needs. However, the product was sold by Rockit, which is based in USA. They provide international shipping via InternationalCheckout. Even though the reviews about InternationalCheckout are all bad in review website, I wanted to give a try since Rockit integrated their shipping method to their website. I ordered the product with really high shipping cost and waited for the arrival of my headphones. 9 days after my purchase they updated my order status and told me that they talked with Rockit and will receive the headphone soon. However I have waited additional 14 days to have a status update. In this period all they have said to me was they are in contact with Rokit and it is on the way. Since I have lived in USA for 2-3 years I know that domestic shipping is incredibly fast. One days I opened a ticket to ask for status and they replied me with someone elses name like "Keng Lee." ( my name is different). I suspected and thought something is wrong. I contacted with Rokit and ask them for resolution. They told me that they must have received in 9 days and send me Fedex tracking code. I started to think that they are fraud. If they have received why they wouldn't ship to me and give wrong information.
If I hadn't contacted with Rokit, they wouldn't have realized that the package was lost.
CS Manager of InternationalCheckout sent me and email and told me that my headphone are lost and they are really sorry and gave me two options: refund or re-order.
I asked them to re-order but ship with high-priority shipping for free. I asked this because I have waited for product for 1 month and I don't want to wait for another 1 month. It was a change that I have given to redeem themselves.
However, they just said that they cannot give free high-priority shipping and refund all the money back.
From all my experience I can say that it was the most disappointing shopping experience that I have ever had. Beware from this company. Also, to their partners they are frivolous company. Don't be partners with them.
In addition to all of this, please check below the comments. There are a lot of fake reviews which tries to cover bad reviews.
My experience with this company has been less than impressive. To start off when they adjusted my shipping costs because my package was "heavier" than expected. I was told they would take an additional $26 or so from my credit card when they actually took the full amount for the item plus the new shipping costs out of my account when they had already put the original amount into pending which left me without access to my credit card as they had almost maxed it via their stupid method of order adjustment. When I expressed my concerns about not knowing they were going to take out the full amount from my account I received no reply.
My second issue is that for a store called INTERNATIONALCHECKOUT key word INTERNATIONAL they do not return or exchange order from outside the USA. I checked their returns policy and it mentions nothing about denial of returns or exchanges for orders outside the USA. This is a disgusting display of customer service and a complete waste of money. I just flushed $300AU down the drain because of this company.
Don't use this site if you are an international customer unless you have no doubt in your mind it may be incorrect.
The following describes my interaction with InternationalCheckout.
I purchased an item from an online site using them. The item was 184.99, the shipping and handling 59.37. Reviewing the order I asked the seller the shipping cost – their answer was 9.95 US.
International Checkout are charging about 50 US for their "services" on an item of 185 US – 27% "fees"
These rates would embarrass a loan shark. I have contacted them repeatedly to move this to a reasonable service charge, they state that I agree to their charges and therefore there is no issue.
The tracking system on their website seems to work.
International Checkout possibly doing this to a limited set of customer profiles. I have offered them the opportunity to comment on the facts in the above description and reduce their "fees" to a reasonable amount.
Check the correct shipping cost, this operation merges shipping and their service charge together.
