I search this site on google and placed an order of cakes for my friend bday. They have a lots of cake design. I booked a chicolate truffle cake which my friend likes most. Prices of the cake are very nominal. They delivered cake on time. The customer service is satisfactory.
I have placed order for heart shaped and i received a round shape. Not only that i was asked to pay extra around 275 as delivery charge which was not mentioned while ordering. And the cake came from near by store from my home which is leass than 5 k.m. When I asked Indiacakes about this, no reply from them. Proof attached.
On the date of delivery they email asking another 150 rs to deliver, delivery was late not because of the bake shop but because they wanted extra money for a shop only 10 mins away from the actual address.
Delivered a wrong cake with wrong name. Asked for extra rs100 on the delivery date. Very bad service.
I had ordered a cake for my relative in Alleppey. Cake was very good. Problem was with delivery. India cake sent me a mail at last hour requesting Rs 200 extra for delivery since the place was far from their center. Either India cake needs to incorporate this while accepting the booking or they need to review requests 1-2 day before delivery date. Sending a email on delivery date at evening at last hour for extra delivery charge is not good. Luckily I checked my mail and made the payment.
Got the refund after just 45 days wait period+ dozens of attended calls+ dozens of ignored calls+ ignored emails+ "we won't mail the same to you, sir; it is limited to jst the call" replies.
2 stars for finally returning my wholesome amount.
Free tip: the support executive needs to come up with better reasons than "The delivery boy met with an accident, sir; we will deliver you the next day."

Why am I bound to Star-mark(even 1) for "Product Quality", without having it received?
I booked a birthday cake a day prior to the birthday but it hasn't reached even after 48 hrs as I am writing this review. Anyone would be unhappy and disappointed with the service like this. Sorry to say this. I always want to give a true experience. This was very bad in compare to the service experience had before with IndiaCakes. Generally they are good but today I am embarrassed and disappointment.
I spent over 30mins texting customer service, requesting the cake to be delivered during working hours. Despite my numerous requests, the cake was delivered after birthday girl and entire left for the day.
India cakes company provide very delicious nice formed and tasty cakes. Service of this company is is very fast. Rates are are also reasonable.
I have placed the order 2 days back ( order Id: *******) and did a followup on delivery date. Customer support gave me wrong assurance about order delayed due to rains in Delhi. Then they called recipient saying order was placed 10 mins ago and we cant deliver before 11:00pm night. Another call with support & they say recipient has ignored delivery for the day! I am aghast with the way this was managed ( un-managed). They are yet to learn about professionalism and commitments.
Note: I have been ordering cakes from them earlier but this year had been highly disappointing.
