“Broken-hearted to see them go!”

I've had incredimail for many years. Yes, at times there was trouble with customer support but I think with the way some people f***up their computers they must have had a difficult time trying to help people. Perhaps they just got tired of trying to help fix errors not of their doing. I am incredibly sad to see them go! It's like losing a best friend... sad, sad.

“Gone From Bad to Worst in 2019!”

Unfortunately my wife loves all the bells and whistles this program gives email. Over the years I have bought four different licenses for different machines on our network for IncrediMail. It has always caused me problems trying to keep it going or causing Windows problems but lately it has gone beyond belief! Every time it is started there is a crash message! Started on one machine and the exact same message has now spread to all machines running IncrediMail.

I had a lifetime licence I bought 2002, I still have my licence number but it won't accept it, I have contacted "support" if you can call it that 4 times with an answer. For years i used it without problem ( or very small one's) this latest 2.5 is a total disaster, emails won't send, Emails rules don't work, some email don't show the content and so many crashes too many to count. I have reinstalled 5 times in the last few months. I have downloader Thunderbird it's ok but a very complicated learning curve, but reliable and the stock front screen text is too small which as far as i know you cannot alter I just want my incredimail to actually work..

Tip for consumers:
Download Incredimail XE and DON"T upgrade.

I didn't give only 1 star because I like the emojies and the stickers and all the other little accessories you can use. However, as a mail software, it's far from good. You have to pay 30 dollars only to get a spamfilter, a service that is free on every other mailserver. Make it free as well, then we'll talk further.

I joined Incredimail back in its very early days and paid a Life Member Premium.
Back then it was a really great program. NO problems at all. Then they Changed ownership and the new owners tried to be super clever and they came out with INCREDIMAIL 2 From that day on Disaster!
From a 5 star program they have crashed to a 1 star outfit. Problem after Problem after Problem. As soon as they fix a problem for you, another appears and after that another, then they all start over again. I gave it 2 stars purely because it is a great concept! Pity it no longer works

I've used Incredimail for many years and LOVED it. I use several email addresses (business, personal, shopping and crap) and it was easy to separate inboxes and even names. For years! Then suddenly: I had mail... but just empty lines. My "sent" box was empty! Total disaster and NO support! I got some "online" support who suggested I download a "fix". Did that. Nothing happened. I use Outlook now but miss my "old" Incredimail. Tried to download the software again on a new computer and the same mess: I got mail indicators but empty lines and my "sent" box remains empty. TOTALLY disappointed after many many years of good use. Too bad.

Why? Oh! Why? Am I now getting problems with IM2 in W10. In particular with stalled outgoing mail and occasional freezing. Previously to W10 and IM2 no major problems it was a great client. I may have to junk it I'm afraid. Currently looking for a new program, but may not be easy to match original IM.
Anything in the pipeline to offer me and and it appears a lot of other users hope of an imminent solution? Ron North

Like several reviewers, I have had the Premium paid version of Incredimail for over 10 years. Always used to be excellent - lots of fun things to do with email (recipients loved it!) and no usage blips. However, just recently I "lost" my menu bar and could not retrieve it. Importants because you need it to access your account. Also found on occasions that overnight it managed to change its skin! Contacted VIP support - told to do full re-install for the latest updated version. Did that yesterday - hey presto - got the menu bar back - BUT for some unknown reason it has decided to drop emails from one of my accounts straight into the deleted items folder? Also, the "empty deleted items folder on exit" function is not working! This email client was brilliant in its early days, but since being taken over, has become quite sad. I am now looking for an alternative, but not a boring one - anyone know any alternatives out there worth looking at? So gutting really...

13/03/2017 - Update
As of yesterday I booted Incredimail into touch. Having tolerated its erratic behaviour for several months, I opened it the other day to find my inbox,(containing important emails left on there) was empty. Could not find them in any of my folders - just gone!

Since my first review, although the preferences were set to "empty deleted items on exit" hey presto, next day they were all still in the deleted file. Even when manually deleting the content of the folder, they still re-appeared the next day. The email wallpaper decided to change overnight, and I was no having a problem logging off my computer - "IMangru is preventing log off". I was having to force log off whenever I closed down, and the close down was taking ages. Due to its increasingly erratic behaviour, I felt I could no longer trust it - almost expected it to totally disappear overnight.

Goiod news is - I did a bit of research into other email clients out there and decided on Mozilla Thunderbird (I actually use their Firefox browser, which is really good) - and it was a brill move. Has all the features, and more, Incredimail has, barring wallpapers and the other fun bits - but I can live without them as long as my email programme is stable. Very quick to download and set up - used it for a couple of days to familiarise myself with how to use its features etc., and once I was happy with it - GOODBYE INCREDIMAIL... if whoever took it over get their act together anytime, and get it back on track, I would maybe go back, but at the moment I am more than happy with the efficient way Thunderbird operates.

It's " complaint first then spam them!" Ever since I wrote my opinion of them I have been getting regular emails from them with their " good deals ". How convenient is that? Could never get a response before! Wow now that's " marketing ", wouldn't you say. Sneaky but probably legal...

I have been with Incredimail for years. I haven't had too many problems. I never upgrade. The only thing I had a problem with is when I needed help they wanted me to pay for Tech support when it was just a little problem. Other than that I have been satisfied with Incredimail.

This isn't a bad site but when I downloaded it, it created a hotmail account for me and I don't really care much for hotmail or windows live mail.

You get free emoticons but the best ones you have to get a premium membership so their claims of free emoticons are true but if you want the really good ones. Then I had could not find a way to sign out of the incredimail and hotmail account and some of the emails I sent too more than 20 minutes to get to the person I sent them to. I got some strange error messages too.

If you get this service, just know that it has it's ups and downs.
