GRAY MARKET GOODS WITH NO WARRANTY AND 0 CUSTOMER SERVICE
May 30, 2024

I purchased 65" TV from IElectrica on Ebay on June 18,2023. I didn't have any issues for a couple months until the screen started displaying an odd pattern in the lower left screen. When I contacted Samsung USA for warranty coverage on the faulty screen, they informed me that the TV I bought from IElectica was a Canadian model that they could not look up in their US system or provide any warranty coverage for (since it was not a US model sold in the US - it was a Canadian model sold in the US). So I contacted Samsung Canada for warranty coverage. They informed me that they could not look it up in their Canadian system or provide any warranty coverage for since it was sold in the US, not Canada. So I called IElectica's costomer service to complain about their shady practice of selling grey good TVs whose warranties are worthless.
After 2 months and 4 or 5 calls to their perpetually-busy service line and 3 or 4 "we'll call you backs" in which they never called me back, I finally reached a supervisor (Michael) who said they would contact Samsung. That debacle took another 3 months of me continually calling back to get a status. Then after another 4 or 5 calls, he said they were waiting on a new screen from Samsung, and that Samsung was backordered on the screens. This issue is so widespread that Samsung does not have any more replacements screen. So Micheal stated that they would not replace my faulty TV even though it was their fault that the TV they sold me had NO WARRANTY! He was very quick to close my request and leave one very pissed off customer. It's been almost a year now, and I'm stuck with a $1250 TV that intermittently displays a weird pattern on the screen. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS. It's not worth saving $50-$70- on a device with NO WARRANTY.

Customer Service and Broken TV
May 2, 2022

I am absolutely disgusted and highly disappointed in this companies customer service skills. I myself am in the customer service industry. There is a huge difference between good customer service and extremely poor customer service, this company iElectrica is the bottom of the barrel.
My husband and I purchased a Samsung QN75QN90AA 75 Inch Neo QLED 4K Smart TV (2021) for our brand-new house and spent $2,195.00. We then also paid another $199 on warranty insurance for the delivery. They then talked us into a 3 year warranty package for another $399.00. When the TV arrived the box looked perfectly fine, so it sat for a couple weeks undamaged until we moved into our new home. 100% still undamaged! We finally unboxed the TV and the screen was broken in multiple places. I immediately called the iElictrica and they instantly started giving me the runaround. I was told they would put a claim in with the delivery company which was then denied. I then made a phone call to the TV he's warranty department and they told me that they would not cover it. I then spoke to Micheal and iElectrica's customer service department he said he would place a claim in with another warranty company. I was told this could take up to 90 days.
The first phone call was 3/09/2022, I was told I needed to email photos, which I did. My email is dated 3/10/2022, didn't hear anything back so I called on 3/11/2022 " sorry your email must've gone into our junk folder." At that point I should've known that this company was a joke. I have called them every week or every two weeks since March. I was told that there would be an update and somebody would be calling me from their insurance company after the review on April 13,2022. Once again did not hear anything. I called again on April 28,2022 and Micheal answered the phone. He told me that he was going to place me on a hold to call the insurance company for an update. That hold lasted for an HOUR and 20 minutes before I finally hung up. I purposely took a long lunch so I could hopefully get this resolved. I then called back on April 29,2022 right when they opened for the day. Once again Micheal was not in yet and the person that answered the phone said sorry we must've forgot you were on hold. At this point I just want a refund since my husband and I already purchased a new TV. I would never in my life purchase another item from this company. Especially high priced items that they will never hold up to their end of the bargain.

Tip for consumers:

Don’t trust this company!!!

Great Price for a Perfect TV!
January 16, 2022

I was looking at the Samsung 75" Neo QLED q90aa and it was $2,799.99 everywhere. ielectrica.com had it for $2,195.00. I saw enough good reviews and enough BS bad reviews on them to go ahead and buy it. I knew they would add the "insurance" charge. It was $187.92, making the total $2,382.92, which is about $700 less than I would pay anywhere, with tax. When the guy called me with the insurance fee, I could tell it was legit and it was not a bait and switch. I had a feeling there would be no problem just from the call. I could tell he knew I was expecting the call and that I wasn't going to start screaming when he quoted the additional fee.

I received the TV exactly one week later. I got a 3pm to 7pm delivery window from AM Trucking. They showed up at 9:30pm. Latest delivery I ever received. They were careful enough, brought it to where I asked, removed the box and powered it up, but wouldn't do anything more. It was in a perfect box. The TV was clearly brand new, pristine and completely wrapped and sealed. As far as I know, I only paid for at the curb delivery. But they brought it in and placed it where I asked.

The delivery guys were not of the quality of what you get from BestBuy. They were hurried and didn't want me to completely inspect the TV. I would not even think of offering them money to attach the TV stand. They looked only qualified to carry it in and open the box. I usually give big tips. This was a rare occasion where I did not tip the delivery guys. Once it was completely unwrapped (after they left) and on my TV stand, it was obvious that this is a perfect, brand new TV, with no issues. It was worth the 40 minutes it took to get it unwrapped and install the stand for $700 off.

I'm writing this review to address all of the bad reviews I see online. Most are bogus bad reviews. I see things like "I was told I would get a call 30 minutes before arrival, but they only gave me 10. I couldn't get home in time and they left a notice on my door to reschedule." Or I see "this is a bait and switch they tell you the price on the website but then fraudulently call you to add more to the price by saying you need insurance." You have to be realistic. These are expensive high end items. They never go on clearance. They are never deeply discounted. The ielectrica price is so low you should know—you get what you pay for! If you want a hassle free experience go to best buy and pay $700 more. And you should always expect to take a day off for a delivery like this.

Meanwhile, the terms of sale on large TV's is you either accept or reject the order on delivery. Otherwise, you get no returns. You get a warranty and insurance. Both of these are crap. Be realistic. If you need warranty service you will never be happy with it. If you make an insurance claim you're looking at 1-2 years to see a check. I know, I had to do it once, with a delivery from Lowes, when the installers damaged the plumbing under my kitchen sink installing an ice maker, when my pipes had pre installed hookups!

These TV's are discounted like this because you are basically giving up the right to a return. The good news is high end TV's are rarely defective out of the box. The bad news is if it's not right for you, or you're not fully satisfied, you're stuck with it. Probably the worst reviews for the Q90aa are found on Best Buy's website. These show obviously broken TVs that broke AFTER the returns period. And, from my experience, that is what most bad TV reviews are. People break them. They cant handle installing the stand. Their kids throw something at it. They drop it installing it on the wall. They knock it down. Or they install it in an adjustable wall mount that causes the screen to flex when they pull it by the edge to position it. If you know not to do these things and you know you don't get a return 80 days later, when you damage the display, you most likely won't have a problem. Your risk factor is whatever the percentage of factory defects is, which is likely around one half of one percent. And the risk of shipping damage, which is also a small percentage for flat screen TVs.

I would recommend fully evaluating the TV you want before ordering. I looked at this TV in Costco, where they had it right next to the LG OLEDs. I knew this was what I needed. I knew I was not going to be disappointed.

If you are one of those people that can't tell what you got or what you want, until after you set it up at home—buy your TVs somewhere else. If you can't handle the uncertainty of a trucking company making a delivery—buy your TV somewhere else. If you are going to break your TV right away—buy your TV somewhere else. If you cannot handle any risk or uncertainty—buy your TV somewhere else.

If you know what the technology and size is and want a deal, buy your TV here. If you know how to handle high end electronics, buy your TV here. That is what it all comes down to.

I can say 100% from my experience last week, that this is a legitimate online store. The prices are insanely low. But there is a catch. No returns.

The last thing I will add is the delivery guys cut the cardboard box off with a razor. When I was moving the packing materials to the garage, I saw that the Samsung box says if you damage the box like that you are not entitled to a return. From any store. So just keep that in mind. They cut the box to prevent a return. And if you buy a TV somewhere else, don't damage the box if you might need a return.

Tip for consumers:

The product is Genuine. Brand New. In Original Retail Packaging. And has a valid factory Warranty that you register online with Samsung. Not B Stock. Not Refurbished. Not Open Box. Sale is Final Once Signed For. No Returns!!!
