Still waiting to get fingerprinted
November 9, 2022

I have to use Indentgo for the Board of Nursing in Texas. Unfortunately, I am so dissatisfied with this place. First off my appointment was at 11 am and I came into a waiting room full of people and no seats left to sit in. I wasn't called in until an hour later. After taking my fingerprints and paying for the service the system crashes. The girl that is helping me lets me know what has happened and tells me we have to do the process again. Ok, that's no problem as the fingerprinting is fairly quick. As we try fingerprinting the second time there is now an error with my profile and she is unable to finish the transaction. She gets on the phone with IT and after waiting a whole other hour they tell me they cannot fix it and they've handed the issue to their financial department and it could take anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour or more to get resolved. So pretty much wasted 2 hours and a half to get nothing done and asked to come back the next day. I return the next day as a walk-in and they immediately take me in. As I am waiting in the room for someone to get started with the fingerprints the same girl that had seen me the day before tells me that she's on the phone with customer service. I was puzzled as I thought the issue would have been resolved as I was asked to come back. After waiting an hour and a half the girl tells me she's been trying to get a hold of someone and no one is answering and that she will call me once the issue is resolved. At this point I am furious I have wasted hours of my time and gas, it takes me 30 minutes to get to the place and 30 minutes to return home. Now I am uncertain of how long this will take or what will happen if there is nothing they can do to fix it. I am not complaining about the staff at the location as they are helpful somewhat and I can tell they feel bad for what is happening with me however, their IT and customer service is awful! This situation should be resolved by now. People can't be waiting to get their fingerprints done which are needed for their education and jobs plus waiting weeks to receive their background check letter. Unless you have no choice but to use Indentogo I would go elsewhere. After all this back and forth you would think they would offer me a discount or a free service for the inconvenience but nothing.

I Understand the State of Indiana Now Objects to Fingerprinting inside a Gun Store?
March 8, 2022

As a Federally and State licensed Gun Dealer in Indiana for over 48 years, and having processed thousands of ink-rolled fingerprints for Title I and Title II firearms tranactions, I question the logic behind this supposed stance by the State of Indiana. The reason being, Indiana is, and has always been one of the most Pro Second Amendment states in the union! Since the process of fingerprinting is a requirement of BATFE (Bureau of Alchol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives), for completion of most all firearm related transfers an transactions, What better location for the fingerprinting to be performed? (It has been performed there for many decades until now!).

I learned of this supposed decision while attempting to "Partner" with IdentoGO, to perform digital fingerprints, which are now required for Title I and Title II Firearms ownership in Indiana, as well as the entire United States.

I have asked this question, but have received no response! Maybe we need more Indiana Citizens and Legislators questioning this so-called decision by the State of Indiana!

As a long - time firearms dealer, if true, this supposed State of Indiana rule, severly hampers mine, as well as hunderds of other firearms dealers across Indiana's ability to earn a living, as well as limits our ability to comply with Federal and State laws and procedures regarding the legal sale and transfer of firearms in Indiana!
I'd like to know the basis for this rule, and I believe the citizens of Indiana deserve to learn more about it also!

I welcome any and all support from fellow Hoosiers to get to the bottom of this infringement upon our rights under the United States Constition, and the Second Amendment!

Rude, Hostile and Disgusting at Edison, NJ
September 4, 2021

Edison NJ

Originally had appt 2 weeks prior for TSA Precheck but upon walking in I was met with a rude & hostile front desk receptionist. I then witnessed her berate other Customers & realized I'll rather reschedule somewhere else. Sadly when I went to reschedule there were no available appts anytime soon, so I made another appt for Aug 30th hoping maybe she was only just having a bad day.

I returned with my wife for appt mentally prepared to be talked down to. After waiting for the same front desk receptionist to complete her conversation with whom I believe to be her tween daughter she brought to work, she acknowledged me & asked if I had appt, said yes then asked my wife if she had appt and said No just accompanying me. Immediately told her she can't stay (covid, we get it, new normal) and wait outside. I replied jokingly to my wife "wow, get out like a dog?" (Surprisingly my wife had to wait outside but take your child to work is fine.)

While standing 8-10 feet away she ordered me to stand on the green dot which ironically is closer than where I was standing. Gave my name and asked for my documents, I held them up and she ordered I give them to her, I joked from the green dot, Do I have to toss it from here? She didn't find it funny, got up and said if I throw anything at her she will not process me. Fair enough, I knew better than to joke with her, so that's on me knowing her personality from prior observations.

Walked me to cubical and took my credit card and swiped it. Ordered me to place thumbs on the scanner and while doing so I commented how now I have to stand 2' in front of her without a green dot.

She took opportunity to lecture $ berate me further and threatened again to throw me out, I said I had no idea process was similar to DMV belittling, she said it is exactly like the dmv because I "picked the right one" I tried to correct her saying I think the phrase goes "you picked the wrong one" after continued hostile lecturing, belittling & threats of me not being able to ever get a tsa precheck or even being able to fly again, I said okay I only want to finish this and us go our separate ways & made a zipped lip motion & put my hands up in a surrender gesture now in fear of being placed on some kind of watch list.

Allowed her to continue telling me off after I gave up and she began to rant that I better learn how speak to women because she didn't like that I called my wife a dog (I did not but I no longer had free speech to defend us) but then she said if it's up to her I would Not get Nothing… I said "anything… would not get anything, because it's a double negative…"

She then took MY credit card, slapped it into MY passport book, slammer it shut (causing it to bend) & threw MY documents into my arms (ok for her to throw I suppose) and yelled for me to get out and that she's not processing me. Asked if anyone else can & she said no because she won't be allowing me to be approved. I proceeded to exit at which I noticed the tween (daughter?) looking down and sad, forgot she was there & hearing this hostility which made me feel awful she had to witness it, (I hope things are okay at home) I then to apologized to the woman for whatever happened to her, which was returned with more berating & yelling.

Outside I explained to my wife what happened, then recalled she had placed my credit card into scanner, so I asked my wife to ask if my card was charged, according to my wife she yelled NO and for her to leave and not think about walking in, so much for women's social justice. In hindsight after her speaking to my wife that way her stance on how I speak to women may have been to shift moral high ground in case I made a complaint.

While outside walking back to our car another customer approached us asked to speak to me and said he saw and heard what transpired and that I wasn't the problem and she was hostile to everyone whole walked in the door, but I was the only one to engage back to her. I said it wasn't worth it since I have to reschedule, he said about that and warned me she did in fact get on the phone and gave my information loudly (Full Name, Spelling and DOB for everyone in office to hear) to someone and completely rewrote and lied about the events that transpired and wanted to give me a heads up and gave me his info as an independent witness which was very nice of him.
I rescheduled, to a different facility obviously but farther away from me and I now FEAR I may no longer be eligible due to whatever fiction was relayed over the phone, hopefully their cameras work with audio.
