Unknown Add on services cost me over $300!
July 12, 2024

OVER injected me for more $$$$! A $225 + service cost me $569.50!
I went to Ideal Imagine, Albany NY to Botox my forehead & a lip flip (I was given Xeomin). Waste of $$$. Lasted 6 weeks. I requested longevity but wasn't given it. Botox would've been better for what I asked for.

Look at my before pics:
The pic with BLACK dots are the proper reference point to where FOREHEAD injections should go. (Sometime a tech will place dots on the face as a reference point to where injections are needed. They're washed off before the service.)
This was my last injection done somewhere else in 2018. A real Dr. Did this. NOT Ideal Image.

Now notice the pic with the WHITE dots. (Excuse the ugly pic. I had no idea i would need a pic. 😃🙃) I increased contrast to see the dots better. No forehead editing.
The pic with WHITE dots is where Ideal Imagine, injected me. Waayyy too much! Uncalled for. I obviously didn't need or ask for this many units. (I was videoing & never saw the white dots until later.) The tech just kept injecting me over & over, in places I didn't need or request.
I was never given an option. What were they tightening? NOTHING! All add on services never needed. She took my MONEY 💰.

🤯 Imagine people with deep lines? It will cost THOUSANDS OF $$$$!

Ideal Image, intentionally ripped me off.
No receipt was offered. She knew it was overdone.

Over the last 6 weeks, before posting this review, I've called several times. No one's contacted me.
Today I spoke to Jillian in customer service. I told her the story & practically begged to send her pics of my, before treatment. She refused to receive them.
I said "how do you know what I needed injected, without seeing my before?"
She didn't care.
Jillian: "You got 64 units at $8.90 a unit. You got what you paid for."
Me: "if you see my before pics, you'll see I never needed that many units! No one has called me in over 6 weeks!
She assured me a call.
Me: "Why would a mngr call me now?"
Jillian: "The amount of managers I'm emailing about this, will make the manager at that location contact you."
Me: "One last time, that's certainly why you should accept my before pics. Iclude them to all of the managers in that email! Otherwise they'll all say, I paid for 64 units."

Nope.
This is obviously normal practice... Over servicing clients.
No one cares!
Now I'm posting. DON'T GET SCAMMED!

Upon arrival...
The receptionist kept wiping her nose with her hand then used her booger fingers on the tablet I needed to use. 😲 DISGUSTING!

I asked the tech several times what the price would be. She refused to give me a price, saying it'll be reasonable. You don't need much.

Btw,
I drove 2 hours for a 5:00 appt. The tech took a 5:30 appt BEFORE ME! She said "It was an existing client, I was only new." WOW.
Finally she began at 6:15ish
She was so argumentative but mostly overly conceded. As if she's better than anyone. Ya right! It was so late, she practically rushed me out. She handed me a tablet to sign with a price. I quickly signed & left.
Later I called to find out what she charged me! I never even was handed a receipt or any information on my services. Only then was I told I'd receive an email receipt.

I went on a.cruise right after. I had no time to think about this until it wore off so quickly.
For close to $600, I want it to last at least 9 weeks! Not to mention I specifically told her I wanted longevity. Maybe she makes more $$$$ with Xeomin. Idk 🤷‍

I've owned a Spa for over 17 yrs. This is just wrong.

Stay far away!

Beware
June 19, 2023

M very hesitant to do this knowing it will most likely be a waste of my time. I have complained on several occasions and received help once only to be taken away almost as fast.
My video consult was a joke. She said i was not a candidate for lol sculpting on my stomach but a great one for my upper arms. I paid via credit card. I went to my appt and low and behold i was a great candidate for my stomach so that is what we did. I had two sessions on my lower stomach and while i was there they work led up a quote for the additional eight sessions. I reviewed the quote, called the office and went over it with the front desk person. I financed it through ally. I showed up for my next appt. I had four more sessions done two on my middle stomach and two on my upper. I had six sessions left that i had already paid for. I had my next appt set up already and upon leaving the front desk girl< not the same one that i went over the plan with, tells me i need to pay another 1490.00. I had already paid for over 7000.00. I told her no that was not what i had been told and to please have the manager contact me. The manager was in New Mexico at this time. I left the office and within minutes received a text message confirming an appt for that afternoon. I had just left so i knew that was incorrect. That day i also found out that another inquiry had been made to ally for the 1490.00. I did not authorize this and was very upset and still am. I waited for a week I called back spoke to the initial person that i went over the plan with and she again left a message for the manager to contact me, which she did the following day. She told me that my credit would not be affected by the second inquiry, she also told me that she would credit me two sessions. After this i was never able to get an appointment. I then received a second bill from ally for 1490.00. I called and placed a dispute. Why would i open another account when the services paid for hadn't been used as of yet. Besides the fact that i still had plenty of credit available bon the account that i opened.
Next i get a call from Ideal image stating if i do not drop the case i would looses all paid for treatments. I had to end up paying the additional 1490.00 to save my credit report.
I have done everything I promised in the agreement and your company has not.
I really don't expect to hear back from anyone there, as that has been the case since the problems started.

Extremely disappointed in services and customer support
May 15, 2023

I had been an Ideal Image customer and have spent thousands of dollars only to be disrespected and not heard. After moving from Dallas to Colorado I went to the Centennial location which I received skin tightening and botox which was great. I moved to another area of Denver and went to the Westminster location which was closer. The botox I received did not take the girl giving me the botox said she was new. Ive gotten botox many times before and I could tell this was not going to take. I called 2 weeks later to let them know it hadn't set in, they kept rushing me off the phone saying wait 2 weeks. I then when to the Lakewood location where the nurse there said yes it didn't take very well at all. I had never had this problem before. I had my forehead, eyes and 11's done. The only area that took was the 11's. The nurse wasn't sure where to put the botox and said I hope that helps. Once again she didn't seem skilled or know what she was doing. They also had issues with the computer and the front staff was complaining about working at ideal image. This was in Feb. I have tried calling the support desk since March to complain the botox didn't take and I paid allot of money. What they will do is have you put in a call back number they never answer and they never called back. They would try calling during the day but because of my work i cant answer. I finally got a hold of a Crystal who said she had my case. She started off ok, very monotoned. I was explaining how I am in an industry where I am in front of cameras and the public and how after paying allot of money it didn't work. I mentioned my friends noticed it didn't work and she said laughingly and rudely you don't have very good friends. This was extremely unprofessional and rude. I have sent 3 of my friends to Ideal Image in Texas who also have spent thousands of dollars. Horrible uncaring customer support. She also told me no one was above her and I had to talk with her or some-other customer support person but It would be the same outcome. I had gone to 2 different Ideal images with no results except for the 11's took. She offered me 20 units of botox. There is no way I will ever go to an Ideal Image again. I asked if they could reverse charges that were on my Fortiva card they issue. She said absolutely not and thats all they could do. Unfortunately Crystal has given Ideal Image a horrible customer service experience. For someone who deals with the public like myself, it is important to look and feel my best and Ideal Image has been a huge disappointment. So now I am out $580 for services that failed and they don't care. Sorry about my luck! They don't even care about the thousands I've spent.

Misleading Sales people and Shady business practices!
January 5, 2023

When I talked to one of their salespeople, we had done a virtual interview and I pinched and showed her all of my fat areas. I was told that if I can pinch it they can treat it. (Which was a complete LIE!) While going over payment options I asked her if I'd have to pay for the treatments if I had to cancel for some reason, I ask this 3 times and all three times she told me that if I had to cancel, I wouldn't have to pay anything if I called and canceled the appointments at least a few days ahead of time and no treatments were done. (ANOTHER LIE!)

A week later I had to cancel the appointments due to personal reasons, I called the lending company they used and was told that I should call them and make sure the account was canceled with them first so that I wouldn't have to pay the full amount upfront if the account wasn't closed and I had canceled with Ally first. So, I called and a claim was put in for me 3 days later someone called me back and I was told that everything was nonrefundable, so I explained to the lady I was talking about how badly their salesperson had misled me with her lies. I was told there wasn't anything she could do except give me a discount of $400 dollars and suggested that I go talk to one of the nurses in a clinic close to me to see if there was a service that would work for me. I took the discount and called to set up an appointment with one of their nurses.

After meeting with the head nurse there and explaining everything that I had been told and what my situation was, I let her look me over and she told me that I didn't have enough fat that they could treat and that I wasn't good for the cool sculpting and she didn't think that their other services would be good for me.

So, that being said here I am having to pay for treatments that I'm not even getting because this company is nothing but a bunch of greedy criminals who take advantage of people.

Never again!
November 15, 2022

I had a consultation with a rep about possible services, she gave me a price that was a little above my budget but gave me the option of a weekly/monthly payment plan which I was fine with, as we continued she started asking for my social, I asked why she needed it for a payment plan and she told me it was protocol, I then asked if my credit was going to be involved because I was in the process of looking for homes and it's suggested you don't make any big purchases or open new credit lines so I told the rep I wasn't interested in services if my credit was going to be involved, she told me it wasn't so I continued with setting up a contract. A week later I got an alert that my credit score went down a whole lot! I was furious, I called ideal image and asked about it and they went on saying I signed a contract, I told them that I mentioned that I didn't want my credit involved and the rep said it wasn't going to be in the consultation so she was dishonest just to get me to sign a contract and that wasn't ok. I canceled my membership on the spot and asked if they could reverse it, they said it couldn't be done. I asked to speak with a manager but couldn't get in touch because the manager always seemed to be in a meeting or not at her desk, after calling a few times and getting the runaround, a manager finally called me and said the loan would be reversed and refunded back to Fortiva. I was relieved but after a month I got another alert from my credit and it went down 40 points! I called fortiva to check and see if the money was refunded and they told me it was only partially refunded and that there was still a balance. I called Ideal Image the next day and they said it was because of some skin care package they sent that needed to be sent back in order for them to refund the rest, I sent that oackage back weeks ago and I have the reciept...the dishonesty with this place is constant, and I don't want anything to do with them and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone I know

Untrustworthy.
November 2, 2022

The lady who did my procedure was a sweetheart, no complaints there.
July 14th I came in for my first appt. I was told during my consultation that I'd be paying for my Brazilian, but my armpits were free. I was charge $4,000, when I was told I'd be paying $222 for this service per visit.
I came in on September 1st for my 2nd appt & was told that my thighs were in my contract & I was charged for it. I never stated that I wanted this service, nor did i qualify because I have blonde hair. I also was told I paid for my happy trail for both visits… first visit they said it wasn't on my contract, so they didn't do it. Second visit we did do so.
I was told by the girl who did my service that this refund would be submitted to corporate & I would receive a phone call. I waited a month.

I have called 4 times now, my most recent call being today, 11/2/22. Each time I was told they'd leave a message to my "case manager". No call back. The 3rd time I called, they stated my case manager wrote that she called me & sent me documents… this did not happen.
She did call back today & sent me documents to be signed. In the contract, it states I will only be receiving $176 for my refund… I cancelled all services, this is NOT what I should be receiving. I have been in only twice. From the price I was told $222 per my FaceTime consultation, this would only be $444 before tax… where is the other $3,500 that I'm being billed for from Ally Lending? I feel like I've been scammed at this point. Adding stuff into a contract I never signed nor stated I needed, no callbacks, this business is untrustworthy. I was given no copy of my contract whatsoever either.

Also, unhappy w/ results, as my hair has come back thicker & darker than before the procedure.

P.S. Read the documents before signing. States you can't complain or write a review on media about the services. Whether it's social, blog, or a review.

Refusal to return money and harassment.
October 13, 2022

I made a appointment with Ideal Image and canceled three days later. At that time I was told I could cancel the appointment but I needed to reschedule or choose from another service. I refused other services, the representative then informed me I signed a contract agreeing to services at the time of my consultation. The consult was a zoom consult not done by a anesthetist and I felt the amount estimated was high for a little refresh. The representative assured any product not used could be used at a later date. I realized later that was up costing and therefore making the amount financed more than necessary. A tactic to get me to finance more through Ally Lending. When I refused other services and asked to speak with a manager I was contacted by Ben Braughton. He and I spoke on multiple occasions with the same out come with repeating I signed a contract agree to services and they would not refund the money, but I could choose from other services. I felt this was predatory to force me into cosmetic services that I don't want. Ben kindly sent the contract by email. It had nothing in it about forcing someone to have services they don't want or not having the right to change my mind three days after scheduling, It did have a section asking me to agree not to participate in any class action lawsuits against Ideal Image. The calls have continued for over a month and after receiving a 2400, 00 bill from Ally Lending I called and explained that I have never stepped foot in Ideal Images office and they are insisting I make a appointment. The Ally Lending Representative was helpful and said they had issues with Ideal Image and suggested I ask again for a refund and if it was refused to file a complaint with the BBB and Attorney General. My phone call achieved nothing and the phone calls continue a month after canceling my appointment. I filed a complaint with the BBB and Attorney General's office. Ally Lending said to disregard the bill and they would file for a return of the money. Yesterday I received another call from Ideal Image and they again insisted I make a appointment and the contract for the $2400 is between me and Ally, and they can't return the money, which is a lie. Each phone call is a different lie or tactic to force services.

Very unprofessional company and staff
October 8, 2022

I had an initial virtual consultation with a sales rep who was clearly not qualified to make the judgement of wherher I was a candidate for laser hair removal or not. She stated that I was the "perfect candidate" and sold me a bunch of stuff to at I didn't agree to plus tricked me into a $250 membership. She set me up with a third party lender and stated that payments would not start until after my first appointment which had to be scheduled a month out. I received a bill in the mail prior to my first appointment and scared that I would ruin my credit if I didn't pay-I ended up paying it. I went to my first appointment where I was told that I wasn't a candidate due to having reddish hair. The technician brought in two other technicians who also agreed but still they proceeded to to a singe test and told me I had to wait six weeks to make sure I was not a candidate. I came back for my second appointment and it was confirmed that I was not a candidate. They stated that they would start the claim process and it should move quickly since I was not a candidate. Donald Howe was the claim executive assigned to my case and he was absolutely terrible to deal with! He called and left one voicemail with his number. I attempted to call him every day for about a month before I reached out to customer service. The agent would not transfer me to manage MTB when asked she told me that I would just have to wait for Donald to contact me. When I said how long I waited and asked what happens if when another week goes by and he still doesn't contact me and she said " we'll have to cross that bridge when we get there." I asked her to connect me to her manager and she proceeded to tell me that she doesn't have a manager and neither does Donald…what?! I ended up calling the customer service almost every day and got nowhere. I finally by a stroke of luck got a manager on the corporate side one day who stated that Donald closed my claim and that there was no refund being issued! I asked the manager if this is standard protocol and she stated that after three fails phone attempts th claim gets closed. Remind you Donald only called me once and I attempted to call him over 30 times. I asked her if it is their practice not to send a custome to a manager when asked and she stated no. Needless to say the customer service team is a joke and will not help you in any way! I ended up going in to the clinic and h I g to talk to staff there who reopened my claim and made phone calls while I was physically standing t there demanding this be resolved. Donald still did not call me after I was told he would reach back out. I ended up getting connected to another claim rep who trusted shorting me over a thousand dollars in my refund. So now I had to take in the task of doing his job and making sure I was getting all of my money back. I finally after calling Donald 16 times in a row got a return call from him. He did not apologize for anything and was quite rude. He tried charging me for treatments that I never received and when asked to be transferred to his supervisor he told me he does not have one…again what?! I ended up reaching out to the better business bureau who assisted in getting this resolved. The company tried stating that the claim was resolved however I still did not get refunded and either did the lender. I am still waiting for my refund to my credit card, and will not close out the complaint until I get it. Warning! Do not deal with this company! They are shady, and many times the thought crossed my mid of them being a fraud. I honestly don't know how they are still in business especially after reading all the reviews of very similar stories on the BBB website and google. I would give them 0 stars if I could!

Completely unsatisfied
October 8, 2022

Canceled my appointment at the last minute twice. Two visits ago I called three weeks later asking for a botox touch up as I wanted just alittle more. Was told I could only come in for a touchup within two weeks of the original appointment. They never told me that when I left the original appointment but OK, thought I would live with that. Had an appointment Friday, September 30. Was told upon leaving that if I wanted to touch up I had to come in within two weeks. Cool was glad they let me know this time. Five days later I was still able to really move my eyebrows in for head after the Botox treatment. I called and they scheduled me in for October 7 which would have been exactly one week. Went in Oct 7 on my lunch to get botox Touch up. I was there 10 minutes early at 12:20 PM and there was a person Checking outat that time. I was checked in and waited 15 minutes for my appointment. After 15 minutes the receptionist calls me up and tells me that I'm not in my window to have a touchup. I told her that I had just had the original Botox seven days before so I was in my two week window. She said no, the window is 10 to 14 days only. I told her that I had been here before and had been told 14 days. She asked me to wait a minute got up and went in the back. She came back and told me it is "the law " That I can only have a touchup between the 10th and the 14th day after Botox. I work for a dermatologist and I know that is a lie. (reason I'm going to IdealImage instead of my dermatologist is that I have to wait two years before I get a discount with my dermatologist). I told her I do not believe that is true because my dermatologist will see anyone at any time if they are not satisfied with his cosmetics. I told her I was seriously going to look into this further and explained again how I had been canceled on a number of times at the last minute. My appointments at 6 PM get canceled about 4 PM on Friday nights. Seems to me like somebody wanted to leave early for the weekend. I was very calm I was not rude to her at all. My membership was sent to renew The following week. I asked her to please cancel my renewal. Their service with keeping appointments is less than stellar and for her to flat out lie to me about the law Makes this business look absolutely ridiculous. I will admit I went there because of the price. Once again live and learn. You get what you pay for. I'm done with Ideal Image.

Rude Consultation - Will not be using this place!
July 19, 2022

I was researching laser hair removal places in the area I was going to be moving to. I use another laser place near my current home now and will be finishing out treatments in 2-3 months at that place. I went for a consultation with Ideal Image back in 2018 when I was just looking around at place. Since my laser place does not have a location in the state I will be moving to I wanted to just gain more knowledge and price ranges on what to expect once I do decide to move next year so I have everything in order. I explained my situation to the person trying to set up my consultation and they still insisted I have the virtual consultation. I had my consultation virtually and Molly was very kind and sweet in the beginning until I explained my situation and how I did not want to go on a payment plan and would rather pay in full. I am a college student so I would rather not be holding a monthly payment if it is not needed. She was very pushy on how "It will help your credit" and "I am not sure why you wouldn't do monthly payments as I am sure you do not have that kind of money laying around" which she has no idea on what I can finically afford or not so that comment really bothered me. Just because I am young and a college student doesn't mean I can or cant afford certain things. I am making another monthly payments right now so I did not want to be making more monthly payments then needed she replies back with "yes well thats what grown adults do" she then asked to get me prequalified which I did not want to do and asked me my credit score which I told her a rough round about score on where I am at and stated "oh well there should be no issues then" I then stated how I did not want my credit score to be pulled once again. She then told me she would give me a big discount if I was to purchase right now but I kept explaining how I was just trying to find out more information. I was told "your wasting your time by doing this consultation right now" and prices were going to change by next year (which I already knew the prices could fluctuate I was just trying to get a clear understand) I was then asked once again why am I doing this right now if I am not ready to purchase and I then explained again how I wanted to just gain more information for when I move here I was answered with "nobody wants facial hair so I am still unsure why you wont purchase it right now". I then stated how I am finishing up treatments still at my other place for a different area so I did not want start all new treatments (at their location where I currently live) until I was finished with the ones I have. She then told me she would give me a big discount if I was to purchase right now but I kept explaining how I was just trying to find out more information. She asked me if I had any other questions and I asked about how their laser is better than the places laser I go to right now she answer by say "ours is medical grade" and compared it to a luxury car brand and how my place isnt unlimited for a reason and they don't provide you enough services. She then goes "so are you going to purchase these right now or not" I responded with I was just trying to gain some knowledge and information about your laser hair removal place and how you operate so once I move here I have a clear understanding about your place so I can make my purchase then so not right now, and she gave me an attitude look and abruptly said good bye and completely ended the zoom call.
I was really thinking about going to their business next year but now that I was told that this was a waste of my time and she was unsure why I even did this consultation and I was pushed and treated very rudely once they did not hear that I wanted to purchase this package right this second and I wanted to just inform myself; I was treated very rude. I spoke to a local laser place (where I will be moving) and they were very kind to me and understanding that I just wanted to gain more knowledge and they valued me as a customer even though I would not be purchasing till next year and really liked that I was trying to just gain more knowledge. I would rather go to some local place rather than here now where I will be treated with more respect.
I am not someone to ever write bad reviews however I do not want someone else to be treated in the way I was.

Tip for consumers:

Be cautious about this place and DO YOUR RESEARCH, there is a reason why there are SOO many bad reviews and very very few good reviews.
