I wait til the last minute to do my taxes, I always have. So I'm doing them Sunday before April 15,2025 (2 days to go). I needed this ID for my taxes to go through and receive the refund I was due. So it sends me to ID. Me, and I'm (not happy). HOWEVER it was VERY easy to do (i'm on the computer, and it lets me use my smart phone to verify photos! I don't have to be on the same thing!

I'm 72 years old, and my hands are a bit shaky. This made it very difficult to take acceptable (to the app) photos of my documentation. After getting through that ordeal, the app did not approve of my input and directed me to a manual review with an agent (nice young man) which involved 45 minutes of sitting before my monitor to avoid being removed from the queue. Yuck.

Me had any efficient and workable process to get my ID verified in a couple different steps which also made me feel a lot more confident about how they keep our information secure. Whole thing ended in a zoom online meeting with the representative and he was great. The only issue I had wasn't really an issue but it was the time clock. A few times it jumped backwards and forwards, which made it a lot longer to wait but that didn't actually happen so stick with it. I went from an hour and a half down to 8 minutes after I had only been waiting about 30 minutes. I also did my taxes late at night so I didn't have to wait as I mentioned very long at all.
