I got through the application process for my identity to be verified. I uploaded everything BUT received a "403 forbidden " error. I attempted to login & move past the error code but was unable to advance. Everything I did produced the same error code. I attempted to locate a contact us number. No luck. In the meantime I received an email saying my id had been successfully verified. It also had links to get into the system I was getting verified to use. I entered my login information got to select what I wanted to do and it wanted me to go through the verification process AGAIN! I decided it wasn't worth the frustration & quit before doing what I needed to do!
Everything went well to sign up for me for the firsttime. I recommend for anyone who wants to use it next time. Thank you anytime.

4/14/25 mid-day tried Self method 1st. My Moto G (2021) Android phone took and uploaded my drvr licence pics front & back fine. But did not allow my selfie pic due to not proper "motion photography" technology. Tried 3-4x until finally recd message "... reached limit of attempts". So switched to Video online method. Did find the session did show my uploaded drivers license pics were recd. The video part went fine with only a few minutes wait. Agent was friendly, patient, and explained well how to position my driver licence and passport so he could see them thru my laptop's camera. Received several subsequent IRS ID. Me emails for each step. My Signin worked and was able to finally get a ID-PIN for filing my 2024 tax return. Took ~40 minutes when expected much less time. So recommend ID. Me process allow less stringent phone Selfie technology and/or provide some technical help suggestions vs just "Could not load picture. Motion technology... etc.". Was frustrating not knowing why and having to wait so long to get message "... reached limit of Selfie attempts.". Paraphrasing the messages.
