This course was invaluable to me for the work that I was performing in dealing with patients on a consistent basis. Being certified has made me feel more at ease in dealing with he high demand of patients' needs..
Loved that I could renew my CPR certification online without having to go to class! Quick, fast & simple. I'll definitely be using this online class again. I've recommended it already to friends & family.
Thank you so much, Jennifer!
This was a great course. The questions are clear an easy to answer. The body of the course is clear to understand and it goes pretty quickly if you've done CPR before and if you're a beginner it's clearly stated what you need to do and in what order I really enjoyed this one. And in this pandemic age it was the best option for me.
I have been taking the pediatric cpr/aed class for about 10 years now. I love how convenient it is and all the information it has along with videos. There is a test at the end, but if you have been reading everything, it is easy to pass. This class should be taken by everyone.
Especially if you have your own or work with children, I agree!
This course was very simple to access and complete. I was able to navigate through the course with no hassle. Once I completed the course it was very easy to print out my CPR CARD. The course cost about $20, and it didn't take a long time to complete. Very straight forward and legit, I am now certified to do CPR. Also YOU get a certificate at the end of it. This is just another skill set listed under my belt!
Thank you Meisha!
I was very pleased with the materials, which was presented in a reader friendly manner; easy to comprehend. I was able to review the materials, videos and take the test at my own pace which was great; because I didn't feel the pressure and stress that normally comes with taking tests. Thank you.
I finished this class in one sitting. Luckily, I have taken several CPR/AED/1st aid classes so it was all review. If you have never done a class before, I would recommend the hands-on instruction. This was well designed and easy to follow. Thank you!
This is the second time I have used this service. Their videos are current with the latest approved method of administering CPR. For nurses that have been CPR certified for years it is appropriate. I have experienced that some employers may not accept, but not all.
Thank you so much for sharing, Sue! We are glad you enjoyed the class!
It was good to be able to do everything online, the course is long but you had to get everything end.
I would like to see automatic reminders to review the course, even once a month for the first 3 months.
Thank you Hanford! I appreciate that suggestion! That is definitely something we will discuss!
My experience was great! Learned a lot of information that even myself forgot and I worked as a CNA for 4 years. It was much different than what I'm used to before because it was in person but this was very helpful and I'm so glad I passed both tests with a 100%.
We don't spam or give your email address to anyone else but you will get notifications when your certification is getting close for renewal. Thanks Neesee!
I took a renewal class in CPR and First Aid. Website is very user friendly and quiz is about 20 questions or so. Printed out my certification and wallet copy after completing the class and passing the quiz.
25 Questions but I'm glad you enjoyed the course.
Very helpful for me when it's time to renew my certificate. As a nurse I am required to have my cpr certification and Icpri provides the convenience I need to get it done. I will recommend it to my family and friends as well as co-workers! I'll be back in two years! Thank you!
It was very easy to understand specially with the video and how they repeat describing all of the very important details and it made it more easier with every recap every after chapter. So when it was time for the test it was so easy that I had only missed one question other than that every answer to the question came to me with ease.
See you in 2 years Margrethe, thank you!
I felt it was very comprehensive and following along with the presenter made the experience very easy to learn and understand the principles and nuances to the process of CPR. Review and call out on the key learning points helped to solidify the learning as well. Excellent program.
Hope to have you back in 2 years Michele!
Nothing wrong with the course. When it comes time to renew, however, it would be better if you could renew ahead of the end of the expiration without starting at that time of the time you take the course. Basically a way to renew and not lose any months paid for already.
We actually want you to review as late as possible before expiration so that you are getting the latest updates. Thanks for taking the time to review Polly, we really appreciate the input.
2 years ago I took an in-person CPR/First Aid class. I am a visual learner and I got a lot more out of the on-line class and watching the occasional videos. Also, I took extensive notes bc I wanted to make sure I passed the quiz the first time :) and I highly recommend doing so (note-taking) as it forces you to pay attention when your mind might otherwise start wandering.
Those are great tips, Sandra! Thank you for taking the time to share and write a review!
This is my second or third time using ICPRI. Their website is easy to navigate. It was easy to figure out how to sign up for the class and yet have my employer pay for it after the fact. The class was thorough and I especially like that they repeat the most important info several times.
The review was good but when I went to work and showed the card I was told that it was worthless. Only an American Heart Association is accepted for CPR certification. Not even the written test is valid so that you might do the check out at a BLS course. So this web site is very misleading!
The prep information for the test was clear and easy to remember. It was a great review, and I would definitely use this site again.
The site is easy to navigate, and the graphics are professional and helpful. The course is streamlined, but covers all of the important factors, with important steps highlighted. If it weren't quality, I would not be comfortable with an online cert. Nothing beats hands-om training for the first-timer, but this is perfect for recertifications!
Answer: Hi Margaret. This certification is through the International CPR Institute. If we were to give a live class locally, we could issue their cards since our instructors are AHA, Red Cross, or National Safety Council certified, but since the course is taken 100% online, we have to issue our own cards. No course that's 100% online can issue their cards, no matter what they say on their website. With that being said, some licensing agencies or facilities will accept a fully online course but they are the only ones who would be able to give you a definite answer. Thank you!
Answer: Hi Jason! You would have to check with the facility or licensing agency directly and find out what their requirements are. Although each of our instructors is certified to instruct by the American Heart, Red Cross or National Safety Council, some facilities still require you to take a live class. They are the only ones who would be able to give you a definite answer.
Answer: Hi Lauren! We currently do not have any personal recommendations for ACLS and PALS as all licensing agencies and facilities have different requirements for courses and certifications. I would contact them directly to figure out what their standards are and which course(s) or companies they recommend.
Answer: Hi Lauren! If you are able to take your certification with us, go to www.icpri.com/enroll and create an account with your information. From there, you can sign up for courses and complete everything online from your account!
Answer: Hi Lauren! We do not have ACL's and PAL's at this time. I am sorry. For more information on our courses please go to https://www.icpri.com/online-courses
Answer: Hi Carol! Our company is online only. If you are taking a course with us, all you have to do is go to our website www.icpri.com and create an account. There would not be a hands on portion if you take it with us, so depending on what you are taking your course for, that would have to be approved. If you have any questions you can contact us at 407-777-0177.
Answer: Hi Debbie, I noticed the date on this post is several years ago, but for anyone wondering about this company. It is legit! My co-workers snd I have been using it to renew our CPR certificates as required by our employer. I am so fortunate to have found ICPRI to meet my CPR requirements. So easy and convenient. Just go to their website and choose the program you need and pay for it. As soon as you pay for the course it will be available for you to access. I've been renewing my CPR certificate with this company for several years and would recommend it to my family, friends, and co-workers. I just renewed my CPR and received my card the other day. This company is legit. Oh and the price of 20 bucks can't be beat! Diana
Thank you for the positive review Karene. Hope to see you back in 2 years!
