I've been using Ibotta for a few years now and overall it's been really good. I do think they could have more options as lifestyle changes. I've changed my diet as I've gotten older and there are not always a lot of items in the produce section or frozen fruit and vegetables that can be redeemed. Ibotta sent out an email/article not too long ago about inflation and how it affects shopping but they have not changed the redemption amount on some of the more expensive items. I wish that would improve.
My account was permanently deleted by Ibotta. They didn't give any explanation at all. I emailed them more than once to ask why and I just got back the generic answer of they can decide at anytime to delete an account. In my opinion they did so because I was using the app well and getting cash back. That is all I can go on since they will not give me an explanation. I am so disappointed. Don't bother getting this app. They will just kick you off if you actually use it.
While when you get all your rebates, it's wonderful and easy, I don't get at least 15% of my rebates. Trying to get them after is awful they need you to screen capture or whatever, send it, date, time, what, who, and they are not easy to work with. I feel like they just keep sending the same message, until YOU figure it out, or give up. I ve gotten back over $750 dollars, but it leaves a bad taste in my mouth that I've lost a lot, and paid more money for products than I would have liked.

I wasnt credited a good size dollar amount and emailed them... went through the steps of what I did... which is exactly what they said on website to do. But apparently lost connection when signing in to my account on the actual shopping shopping sight. They basically said tough luck. You didnt do what you were supposed to.So I let them know I make others aware.
I typically love the cash back but recently I have been approved for money back and then a few days later they remove my credit. Not cool

I have experienced several occasions recently where I've purchased items that are eligible for cash back according to what is written in the description but cash is not given. When I follow up I'm told it's not eligible or there's a problem with the receipt. Seems a bit misleading.
I scanned items on the app in the store, the bar code matches. I check out redeem my receipt and then I didn't get the credit for the item. I dig the item out of my bag and scan as missing item…again it matches up. Three days later the receipt is finalized and I still get no credit. Now I have to start over and send in a notification that I am missing cash back!

I just started using this app about two weeks ago. The part I don't understand is where you choose your grocery store and select "shop", which is what I did. Twice it's said it's for "any" receipt and will work with your loyalty number. This is not working.
I love the concept, and love to save money on things I buy normally.

I don't like the linked account. I don't have time in the store to look through everything and I purchase things that I didn't know had cash back and they are marked. Then I miss them because my receipt automatically goes through because of being linked. I like to look through it at home after I purchase to see if I missed anything.
They say to be sure to put the items on my account before shopping, but sometimes I'm not able to. L

Always have a problem taking pictures of Publix receipts even when the photo is correct. Why does this always happen.
It's frustrating that certain foods are listed at certain stores only. I may buy something at Publix but it only gets points if purchased at Kroger and since I always shop sales, it's ridiculous. Come on Ibotta, do better with people trying to say money
For a friend to get free points and for myself to get the thanksgiving deal. It was MUCH better back then, now it’s ridiculously difficult

Again, the cash back is missing on multiples of the same item. I purchased 2 Tate's bake shop chocolate chip cookies, but received cash back for only one. The receipt clearly shows 2@ Tate's, but I only received credit for one. I scanned the barcode, but still only received the cash back for one. You do this every time I purchase multiples from Albertsons. The receipt also shows the total number of items purchased, so I don't understand why I have to go through this every time.
I eventually get the money, but it’s a frustrating process. I haven’t received the extra dollar THIS time yet.

This is the second time I have had an offer and it did not appear when I redeemed my receipt. Today, I purchased the Hose Ole taquitos and it clearly shows on my receipt, and yet I did not get the credit of $1.00 for it, so I submitted my receipt a second time and was prepared to show the receipt, but also the barcode, to confirm that it was a qualified purchase. Feel like Ibotta tries to cheat me out of qualified purchases.
Didn't get a reply, wasn't able to find a customer service representative to chat with, or report the issue.
Because, I have an opportunity to get money back on qualified purchases, that will allow me to shop again. I like earning rewards for shopping, since I have a limited budget.

Ibotta use to be great. They always had bonuses for doing so many offers, now you're lucky if you even get a bonus. The offers almost always reset. But now they do not reset. I don't know what's going on with ibotta. But they ain't like they use to be

I like the app but wish it would automatically add my deals versus me searching thru and adding everything manually like another app I just started using.
I thought this would be like clipping coupons and it is to some extent, but you're getting my entire receipt, don't you see what I got that's on your list of offers. I'm telling you I'm gong to Ralph's to shop, with the aide of bot that you're using, can't you see that I bought what you wanted me to buy.

Seems like every time I shop at dollar general, there's an issue... Missing items, they don't carry it, something. Items disappearing while I shop... Just never had these issues before. So now I have wasted money.

Ibotta was a miracle in these trying times...until I reached the 1500 club. That's when I receive a message saying something doesn't look quite right. I've now been locked from my withdrawals and am receiving zero help or communication from support.
There is no customer service. It's all an automated system, pretending to be people.

Ibotta is a great way to try new products and products I never bought with discounts and cash back. A added bonus is if products are on sale at the stores too.

Not happy at all with the changes that have been made. Find it very difficult to find where to upload receipts. I still only find it by chance. Not sure why this change was made, but if it could be fixed so that each store has the upload receipt option that would be great!
