“Beware - crooks!”

John H.
5/8/17

I ordered a PC from these people and paid via PayPal. After over 3 months of delays and a multitude of emails and phone calls the PC finally arrived at the warehouse, only, in their words, to be broken. I even had to write an email to say that I had not received the PC. This was in 2014 and since then I have heard nothing more from them. As it was over 3 months I could not get my money back via PayPal. These people are nothing but crooks operating out of Thailand. They should be stopped by the Thai authorities and jailed, but...

Tried to buy a set of headphones in December and received various emails with progress of delivery like many others no good arrived and I had gone past 45 days so could not get Paypal to intervene. I wish I had looked at the complaints about this company before placing an order. My advice is don't lose your money with this scam

Ordered a repeater from them in November 2013. 4 Months later, no products, no refund.

Paid via Paypal, but because there is a catch. You can only have cases looked into upto 45 days from payment, Paypal don't want to look into it.

Do your own re-search. Just search for i-store-online reviews and there are thousands, if not hundreds of innocent users who have fallen victim to this site.

UPDATE: August 2015 - Totally lost the money with them. 73 ticket requests for refund I send them. And each one had a standard reply. "Our Accounts department shall come back to you".

Sometimes. When the prices are too good to be true. Well. Honesty speaks. They are.

Take advice and do not by from them/their sister companies. Better to pay that tenner extra and have some assurance that you are dealing with a reputable company

This site encourages you to use Paypal but then sends a continual stream of meaningless emails as a delaying tactic. They even say do not contact Paypal if order is delayed, claiming this will incur more delays. Luckily I saw through all this and made a claim with Paypal before it was too late

DO NOT TRADE WITH THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES

My experience with this company is a very close match others stated here.

They take your money and suggest that delivery will be around 4 weeks. You wait, nothing happens. Your only way to contact them is through their "Help Centre" where you have to raise a "ticket" every time you want to raise an issue or even respond to one of their emails. Irrespective of the issue you raise they respond with generalised platitudes and close the "ticket" without resolving anything and making no commitment to do so.

In my case they first just advised that the delivery was overdue and they would need to investigate. After 4 days and following a further prompt from me they said that the goods had been damaged in transit and that the would source a replacement. After a further 2 weeks and again only because I prompted them they said they had no stock even though the web site was showing 54 units being available in their "central warehouse" (at the time of order it was 88 pieces) and glibly that they would "let me know" when/if anything happens.

Almost 10 weeks had elapse since order by this time and I finally decided they should refund me since they were unable to supply the ordered goods. Their response was to interpret this as "Cancelled by the customer" rather than their failure which, under their terms and conditions allows them to make charges against you to cover costs they've incurred!. Even then they don't actually make a refund - you have to wait until some else behind the scenes decides how much they want to give you back. A couple of days later they email to say they will refund the amount they received from the credit card company and no more i. E. the value of the transaction less the cc transaction fees - outrageous considering that they whole problem is entirely of their making. AND EVEN THEN they don't actually give a refund! - instead they credit your i-store account and you have to make a specific additional request to have the money paid into your bank or credit card account. AND EVEN THEN they don't make a refund - instead they tell you that they are keeping you money for 30 days for a cc transaction (different longer delays for others) on the grounds of anti-money laundering legislation - utterly bogus in this context. I'm still waiting for my refund.

On the advice of my cc company I'm initiating a charge-back process.

Honestly I still can''t decide whether these people are actively trying to defraud unwitting customers or whether they are just an incompetent and uncaring drop-shipping company. Either way, this is the first and probably last time I ever try to use a supplier I haven't specifically verified first and I probably will never be able to bring myself to use a far eastern company again.

REPORT TO PAYPAL AND STOP THIS COMPANY USING PAYPAL AS A MEANS OF CONNING PEOPLE...

I ordered an item through this company 20thOctober 2013 and the usual patter happened.
The shipment got lost and another was supposedly ordered. They kept me up to date with where my shipment was. And dragged it out. The item got lost in the post... an insurance claim was processed. They were out of stock and were expecting a delivery... before I knew it the 45 days had passed during which I could ask Paypal to help... now they say they are going to refund me... or so they say... I will keep you up to date with that if it materialises but having read this thread that seems unlikely!
The thought that I have been scammed infuriates me beyond belief.
I requested a refund which they appeared to process for me however I had to jump through hoops! The first promised repayment was processed on supposedly 5th January and it wasn't!... now they have proof from Paypal that it wasn't and bank details for a refund but I still am twiddling my thumbs waiting for it... e-mail after e-mail... excuse after excuse!
I have been to my bank Nationwide who have taken the evidence and are looking at the possibility of issuing with a "charge-back" on my Visa Debit card I am now waiting to see if they will help me here. However. I have also heard that Nationwide are pathetic when it comes to debit card Visa charge-backs (The transaction was initially with Paypal as I have read on another site and they apparently will not honor this)
I used Paypal in good faith believing that this company had to be above board and had every confidence with Paypal. I knew nothing about the 45 day cut off until I went to them for help... and when push came to shove I got left out in the cold and my daughter had lost her Christmas present I had saved all year for... great! I am absolutely distraught.

Even Ebay have updated their terms and conditions whereby your cover starts from the estimated delivery date... and not the order date... unbelievable isn't it!

However Paypal WILL STOP THEM USING THEIR FACILITY IF ENOUGH PEOPLE COMPLAIN.
So please do this and stop them conning other people out of their hard earned money!

Hey everyone,

I am on the hunt to warn all potential victims of their scam. I am a Production Manager on a film and have bought many thousands of pounds worth of equipment, so am trying to warn everyone to avoid these scam based miscreants.

I ordered 5 Buffalo 1TB T-Bolt Hard drives in early January for £550 as they weren't on the market in the UK at a decent price at the time (since January they have come into the market at cheaper price with BT-business.com... drats), anyway... ordered them and have been waiting for 5-6 weeks now.

Last week I contacted them to find out where my order was, as I got suspicious about there shipment update emails, after reading forums I realised I had been scammed, but I could get my money back or my goods with threats. So when I emailed them I said I didn't want any excuses of delays, lost orders etc and gave them 48 hours to send me my goods or refund my money.

Low and behold I got a generic response from "Max" saying they needed to "search for my goods" which would take 48-72 hours.

I responded by saying I would take the case to the police after I had called my bank (who I called and said they would open a fraud case), if the goods or a refund wasn't with me immediately in the next response.

I then received an email this morning stating the goods were "lost" and would take 2-3 weeks to re-locate... yeah right... after all the threats I gave them, they didn't once acknowledge anything - so I assume its an auto-respond email.

I done some digging and found the real UK based companies which these thieving crooks are fronted by... all looks very dodgy but they are:

SALE-POINT IMPORT EXPORT LTD.
SUITE B
29 HARLEY STREET
LONDON
UNITED KINGDOM
W1G 9QR
Company No. *******

I found out their VAT number from the website and tracked back from there via the Companies House website, also the company names listed on the website are totally made up.

The company Director is Malareet Jamroonchat (who is listed on the website as well) - probably a fake person too - honestly, this website is probably run by some guy in his basement and the website and all the people shown are just an elaborate fraud run by a German/English speaking person operating out of Thailand, which is where their bank is... so the trail leads back somewhere, but it could all be set up with fraudulent ID's, but they can close this stuff down.

Unfortunately this address has something like 3000 companies registered to it, so its probably an office set up for businesses which take part in fraudulent activities.

I have contacted the Police on Action Fraud | Report fraud and internet crime

I urge all other victims from here to use the online reporting service, even if you have received your goods or money back via Paypal, as it is the only was to stop other people being ripped off, if the police get enough evidence they can action something and stop this quickly.

In your email to them, issue that they investigate the Harley Street office involved and issue a winding up order from HMRC for the company and close down the website.

I was buying stuff for my office so it was the company who took the hit, but everyone else has to lose thousands from their own pockets which is not on!

Good luck and AVOID these people at all costs.

Anyone who has been ripped off, even if your goods are also lost and pending investigation from i-store-online I urge you to:

- Contact the Fraud Action Online reporting and ask for HMRC to issue a winding up order
- Contact your bank/Card issuer to issue Fraud proceedings against the Thai bank
- Contact Paypal to cut these crooks off at the source

Hopefully this post will help others avoid being scammed like us.

I have also found an email for one of their "team" - *******@sale-point.com

Directly contact this person as well, as the automated one is clearly a ring fenced email address bouncing all over the world.
