“Customer service stinks”

I called the dealership for a warranty item on my car. I explained to them a switch on my steering wheel was physically broken. They set me up with an appointment two days later and said they would take care of it. I arrived 5 minutes early. The service folks looked lost and fumbled around unsure of their job. The car was taken into the shop after a 20 "induction" process. We waited for over an hour until the service rep came out and announced that the "technician" had found the switch to be broken needed to be replaced. No parts on hand and it would be ordered. They knew prior to the service appointment exactly what was needed. Instead they wasted over 2 1/2 hours of my time to tell me what I already knew and had informed them several days prior. Now when and if the part arrives i know i will be tagged for another 2 1/2 hours or more to get it fixed even though I know the job takes more than 30 minutes.
