LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- After trying this product I noticed my skin actually got worse! It dried my skin in the treated areas and worse yet I noticed wrinkles coming in.

Don't be Duped!
June 24, 2015

I live in Australia and ordered a free sample of Hydroderm original Age-Defying Wrinkle Serum which was advertised through Facebook in April. For the payment of $6.00 postage, the promised "free" Hydroderm serum would be delivered. I provided my credit card details for the postage of the "free" Hydroderm trial as requested, and several weeks later the product arrived in the mail. A withdrawal of AUD$8.67 was made on my Visa card on the 22nd April 2015 which I had authorised, for the postage of the Hydroderm.

What I didn't realise until receiving my bank statement, was that Hydroderm illegally withdrew $108.73 from my account (on 13 May, 2015), three weeks after my initial payment of the so-called "free trial". At the time of ordering through Facebook, no Terms and Conditions, or Contact details were published - I guess that should have been a warning sign to me.

In using the Hydroderm sample, I have discovered that it is irritating a small patch of eczema between my eyebrows and below one eye. I have found no greater benefit to my ageing skin after two weeks use, than the the regular moisturizer that I have used for the past thirty years, so I do not intend to continue using the Hydroderm.

I have reported this fraudulent misuse of my Visa card to my bank, but will be greatly inconvenienced by closing my Visa account. I have requested a refund of $AUD108.73 for this unsolicited withdrawal, along with the $AUD122.06 that was debited to my Visa card as a second unauthorised withdrawal, that I was notified of of by email on 15 June.

Judging by the number of complaints that I have read on the website http://hydroderm.pissedconsumer.com I'm not sure that my request for a refund will ever be honoured as Hydroderm does not appear to be an ethical company. This is the first time my consumer trust has ever been abused in this way, so "buyer beware"!
