HVACDirect has become an exceedingly important part of our commercial property business. With the onset of COVID, we began to run into serious difficulties in being able to find new HVAC units for our commercial properties. The shortages extended into every aspect of our commercial properties, but being able to locate and purchase new HVAC units to replace units we had that were just too old and needed to be replaced became increasingly difficult. Many of our normal sources locally simply dried up. It was during this time of difficulty that I came across HVACdirect online and discovered that while I wasn't entirely familiar with the brands of HVAC they offered, I was encouraged by the high satisfaction levels and positive feedback and reviews they had. So, I crossed my fingers and went ahead and ordered directly from HVACdirect. The brand we've ordered by far the most often, has been the ACiQ brand of commercial HVAC units, both three- and occasionally single-phase units, between 3 and 8 tons. So far we've purchased no less than a dozen units over several years from HVACdirect. Delivery has been prompt and painless and everything's gone according to plan. I mentioned that I was initially slightly concerned about HVAC brands I hadn't heard of before but I did a little research and discovered that the ACiQ units (like televisions and many other things in the modern world) are actually made by Carrier and are exceptionally well made. And installation and reliability of these HVAC units has been perfect, without a single hitch. I'm not sure we could've survived without HVACdirect to be honest. They've been so incredibly helpful and supportive that we've even seen a couple of our local heating & air suppliers follow our lead and begin ordering their HVAC units and other equipment from HVACdirect and it doesn't get much better than that!
I mean how much can you ask form a ".com" order? I'll be honest and ya'll should be grateful I am. I read the instructions "I should take pictures of my package, before signing for it's delivery, to be sure it's the correct model number and it has no damage from shipping" RIGHT?. My window was 6 hours 9am-3pm, around 1:00pm sitting on the couch watching TV, I got worried thinking something may have happen. I called HVACDirect.com and it was confirmed, my delivery was on the truck the morning it was supposed to be. MMkay, Figured I'd go outside to my truck and get my box cutter and tools needed to unpackage it when it arrived, I also would hope if I tipped the delivery people I'd get some help moving it to inside my home, from the deck and through the front door. Soooo, I open the front door and to my surprise. There's a wooden pallet sitting on the curb, with a big box wrapped in plastic wrap. Nobody even bothered to knock, I live in a mobile home with thin walls and they must have creeped up wearing fuk'n slippers... Kinda pissed off that I found it that way, Nobody to help and it wasn't even the correct model number I ordered. ((( YES I found out later that day after calling I got an upgraded model, because the one advertised was no longer in stock, So the one I got was just manufactured only a few months ago))) 170lbs thankfully I had a neighbor passing by who helped me get it inside my home. Since then it's been installed with no outstanding issues. I e-mailed the HVAC Technical Services REP who took my original complaint "twice" and even though I didn't need to move forward with addressing the issue further, I still haven't got a reply from him after questioning about an extra PVC tubing part my contractor couldn't identity in the package. I still haven't heard anything. I've bee busy and it's the Holiday, But I will follow up again by phone when I get the chance... It was priced right, Shipped and delivered without damage, FOR THAT I'M VERY HAPPY! I would imaging 95% of the service and shipping process is automated... best of luck, with your own experience! Hopefully I won't need to buy another furnace for 20 years!
