“Good site for getting one's complaints resolved”

Omega R.

Good site for getting one's complaints resolved. The site claims to have a high success rate when it comes to getting a problem fixed. This site seems to be a great resource especially when there are urgent matters that one may need to get fixed immediately. Plus the site has community forums for members to discuss various questions that have been asked. Usually I would give a complaints site a full rating but my problem with this site deals with one issue. The site is named how to complain yet when I tried search for how to complain on the site this was very difficult. I found it quite difficult indeed as to where on the site was the section where one could actually post a complaint. Other than that the site is a great consumer resolution mechanism and should be looked into if one may need their issues to be resolved.

“Warranty rip off!”

I O.
4/19/19

DO NOT PURCHASE A WARRANTY AT THE LINDEN NJ STORE! I went into Ashley furniture store several times before the expiration date on my warranty order dated 7/13/2013 to get a refund/store credit. Each time I was met with a deterrent, they could not contact the warranty company, the manager was out, the computers were down etc. I had no reason to disbelieve because I had purchased furniture before and was able to use my warranty before! This time the company was under new management and I was denied by the office manager Theresa who was very unprofessional. She barely glanced at the paperwork, was dismissive and offered NO opportunity for resolution. She made several blind nonchalant attempts at denying my refund, but each attempt was refuted with the original paperwork on hand. So, realizing what I was dealing with, I took the matter to Better Business Bureau-the response given to the bureau by Ashley Furniture Store was they had no idea of what I was talking about because they were under new management, and the company felt this was a suitable answer to give a consumer! Finally, I contacted the main office and spoke to Jasmine-this time the response given by the company was that I had to call 90 days after I purchased the merchandise in 2013 in order to qualify for a refund/store credit. I do not see any stipulation of the sort on my original paperwork. I have made several attempts for the company to show me/prove in writing where these stipulations are written and I am being given the run around. Even though it is a small amount of money, I feel that I need to make a complaint because this scam can be happening to other people! The matter needs to come to light at this location- 1741 West Edgar Rd in Linden NJ 07036

Stay away from Everything Quality Construction owned by Matt Rufo out of Framingham. He did such an awful job painting the exterior of my home that less than a week after he finished the trim it began to peel. He basically charged for but did no prep work, lied about how many men were on the job and what he did and took my money. One professional saw the job as was "horrified" at the quality of the work done. Unfortunately will be taking them to court but I have no doubt I'll get me money back.

I bought a couch and a love-seat in June which was paid in FULL. It is now September 22, and I still don't have my furniture. I have made a call every week since week 8, since the invoice has 3 - 8 weeks for delivery. Try 12 weeks and still getting the runaround. I call and get "disconnected" I have been patient and polite, now I am COMPLAINING! DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, IT IS A RIP-OFF! I would give NO STARS I could. I am also complaining to the Federal Trade Commission, The Attorney General's office, BBB, and everywhere else. People need to be warned, if you can't take it with you don't buy it.
