I never write reviews ever, but I felt the need to do so with this place. I'm giving it five stars for affordability first off, and the fact that my room was spotless. The staff was exceptional and so accommodating. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Booked a room through a third party "Getaroom" for a friend who does not have a credit card. Was told no credit card was needed to check-in. This was not the case so my friends had to go somewhere else that accepts cash. When I called the front desk of Howard Johnson Kingston, the person on the phone was extremely unhelpful, rude and very curt. I am not sure why you sell rooms to third-party companies and then seem upset when people call to ask questions. Never will I book at HJ again!

We had a reservation for Howard Johnson,billings mt. We've never stayed at a HJ before,but assumed it would be great. The whole place stinks, looks unclean. It took 3 times to get keys that work. No clock and there is coffee makings in room but no coffee pot. Everything is p,bugged into a serve protector which is hanging from a plug in, actually a 6 plug in adaptor plugged into a regular 2 wall plug in. I asked for my $ back, hoping to find a decent place, but was told no. We are so tired gave up. I certainly will never look into a HJ again.

Worst hotel ever Howard Johnson elk lake by Wyndham reserved a pool side luxury suite travel from Vancouver to Victoria get there pay for the 3 nights with visa debit reservation was with visa debit I didn't have a credit card to pay the 150$ damage deposit manager pretty much told me to bad so sad for you could have paid for it in cash could have e transfer could have done any number of things me an my wife are almost 50 not little kids that are going to destroy a place anyway worked that out so go to the room the fridge doesn't work barely room temp drinks $#*!ty tha spa an hot tub are out of order do to covid apparently there is a lock on my patio gate so no access to pool asked about this first they said it was cause of covid then I asked how that was covid related then they told me it was because they were having bar service so to keep track an make it safe but signs all around the pool say no glassware or drinks on pool deck so bull$#*! plus we never seen one person have anything delivered to the pool also because of the lock on the gate we are forced to walk thru lobby to access pool area where everyone coming an going have to pass thru a bottle neck thru the closed spa area that seems way more harmful to the COVID-19 protocol rather then being able to open my gate an walk 10 feet splash around walk 10 feet back on my patio also railing at the smoking section is falling over very dangerous the carpet in the hall ways is old an gross rolled up everywhere also coffee condiments are very limited if you want your room cleaned you need to notify front desk the night before super awesome also found hairs stuck to shower wall prior to using it this place sucks I think an up grade would be a tent on the side of the road

It is a nice hotel.the interior is highly designed with quality counter tops, the staffs are caring and qualified at services. I enjoyed every bit of the meal i ate.the hotel rate also was budget type. I wish to re-visit.

I have spoke to the front desk of the Howard Johnson's hotel I stayed in Columbus Georgia on Macon road on several occasions and they all have a different answer. I have recorded every phone call and video taped my room when I left because I know how to cover my rear end. Do these folks wake up in a new world every day wandering around aimlessly? I also called corporate and they aren't any better. The man i spoke to yesterday said he didn't understand why they never refunded my money and he would talk to the mngmnt. Today I spoke to a female and she swears they refunded my $50 June 25th. Funny because I hadn't checked out yet. Liars to say the least. Wow. Really? I'm filing a complaint with FTC and the BBB. Maybe I'll file a suit in small claims and they will pay a whole lot more. Thanks for showing your true colors Howard Johnson's by Wyndham. I have lost all faith in you because of idiots like this... ill be praying for y'all. God bless each and everyone of y'all.

Tip for consumers:
Go to Hilton by Mariott they have smart professional people employed. And they don't have people using drugs in the parking lot.

Products used:
I will not ever use this company again and most definitely don't recommend any hotel by Wyndham to anyone!
