So after one day I called and said come get it. Still no word on when.

I have made multiple attempts to contact someone there for a referral for a hover round. The menu keeps looping back to the same original question over and over. Finally, twice, I pressed another key that was not pertinent to my call. Got voice messages both time and no return calls. I won't be referring anymore clients to this company

Biggest waste of money in my life! I have absolutely nothing good to say about Hoveround, either the company or the wheelchair! Very 'jerky' when turning especially when pulling forward after backing up or visa versa due to the stupid design of the rear swivel wheels!
Takes forever to get service. Waited for 2 months to get mine serviced and it STILL wasn't right!
Take my advice and buy a GOOD wheelchair like a PRIDE. Can;t go wrong with a PRIDE!
This is probably the worst experience I've ever had with a company that is supposed to be customer service orientation. Basically I have been waiting almost a year to get my scooter repaired. I am a disabled Veteran of the war in Vietnam. This organizations has absolutely no regard for veterans. I do not have enough time, or space to explain and document the numerous times I've been given the runaround. I have seen told conflicting stories by the technical and scheduling departments, among others. Even hung up on by Lori(sp) in scheduling.
Depending on who you talk to parts are on order, been ordered or waiting for the technician to install. Technician showed up a few weeks ago with the wrong part

Not real good so far no home visit no calls no one had talk to my doctor
I called your tech department and advised them that there was a clunking sound coming from underneath the chair and that it pulled to the left. He then transferred me to the sales Dept.where I was informed that there was a problem with this model and she went ahead and ordered the parts. I called tech support today and was told that my parts weren't in and he didn't know when they would be. I suggested swapping my chair for a new and he rejected that and told me if he did that he would have to swap thousands of chairs. I have 30 days to return the chair and I may explore that option.

I have been dealing with Hoveround for over a year and still no power wheelchair has been delivered. I have done everything they have asked me to. Mobility exam from my PCP was completed on 3/29/2023. PCP determined at that time that " I was unable to move about independently without a power mobility device. He is paralyzed from the waist down." Insurance info for Medicare and United Heralthcare shows approval on June 23,2023. The latest phone call on 3/25/2024, I was told we needed to schedule a mobility exam. I am currenty using a power loaner wheelchair which I have to return this summer.
They jagged me around for 3 months and now tell me that they want to give me a wheelchair instead of a scooter. We had this SAME CONVERSATION over 9 weeks ago! What changed? They are the ONLY company my insurance works with, so I am screwed! WASTED so much of my time!

Had my Hoveround for 2 years and had major breakdowns twice. Been without my wheelchair for 3 weeks now, again, have had to push them thru each step to get the repair made and am still waiting. I am shocked at their complete customer service, very rude and no compassion at all. They absolutely don't care, very poor attitudes, told they have hundreds of calls for repair every day and would not let me speak to a supervisor or anyone else that might be able to help me escalate this. I cannot even stand or walk and I can't push myself in a manual chair because I am so crippled. But they tell me everyone's the same way. I am so sorry that I bought a Hoveround. The quality is not there at all and the service if you need help almost don't exist. They have screwed this up since my call on 10/4/23 and I found out today they still have not submitted it to the insurance company to cover my repairs. BJR

I understand a lot of these patients as im one that you have also jerked around NEVER AGAIN i wouldnt send my worst enemy here. I hope when people say their getting a new power chair i hope thats true because while i was watching a video on this guys ipad he rolled a wheelchair in my door no box no wrapping they didnt even measure to see if it would go through my doorways i got mine through medicare and insurance doesnt have a rep that comes out to see what their paying for just one of many issues when you hire professional's i would love to contact them but the bottom line is that nothing will be done as i said in the subject matter lip service all you give is a generic response none of what im saying has nothing to do with medical records or hippa it has to do with how you treat disabled seniors make the sale get the money from compliance to service tech these people that work here feel they can do no wrong just my hands on personal experience the time i wasted on hold absurd and then to get an attitude like i was doing something wrong you all need some sensitivity training you all must think its ok to impede a disabled seniors ability to have a better quality of life

Would give a negative rating if possible--a 1 is too high. Recently tried to replace my power chair; it was a nightmare! They brought me a larger chair, even though it doesn't fit in my house, because I was 3 pounds over the weight limit of my old model. Was told by several reps that if I was rechecked and was even just AT the weight limit, they would replace it with my old model. Two weeks later my doc certified that I had lost 4 pounds and was actually under the weight limit but when I then tried to exchange it, they told me I had to be TEN lbs UNDER the weight limit. This was never said by any previous service reps. Tried to blame my insurance who had already ok'd replacing the smaller chair. BEWARE! Once they've sold you equipment and have your money, they do not care and will apparently tell you any lie to make returns/exchanges impossible, no matter what they've said previously. I would NEVER recommend Hoveround.

I'd say their service is horrible but when they never respond to emails maybe it's really non-existent. I've called and was put on hold, after 18 minutes I hung up. I've emailed twice (using the address on their website) over the past two weeks and no response. And this is when I want to buy something. I've moved on to something else.

I am a 71 year old woman with chronic COPD, Hip Surgery May 15 of this year and still can't walk long or stand over 10 mins. I am stuck inside with severe pain and have so much painful trips to even the Dr. Using just my walker is not helping. My Dr. faxed over his approval for a chair and we had our 1 on 1 visit as told by the Hoveround agent we much have. As I left his office my husband got a call from Hoveround saying my Anthem BCBS would not cover their part. We are on a fixed income with SS and my bills are so high. I am expecting another hip surgery with this time a complete hip replacement but before that I may have to have a surgery to put my bladder up. I live a life of pain and falls. I can't function and just need to go outside for fresh air but I needed this chair for inside my home. I have not been able to find anywhere to get a chair. Everywhere I have tried either had to have $ up front or were
Found out to be scams. Hoveround let me down. Now I can only function maybe 20 mins out of an hour.

I didn't get to purchase anything. I talked to Medicare and my Anthem BCBS and they did not understand Hoveround saying my BCBS would not cover. Maybe I was too honest regarding my needs for a chair. The customer service for Hoveround is the worst that I've experienced! They nickel and dime you for every little thing, and they sent us the same cup holder three times and charged us. Then they sent us to three different departments saying that it wasn't their mistake. They sent us a shipping label and picked it up and then delivered it to us again for days later. It's so sad that they would take advantage of the elderly. If I wasn't helping my dad, he would be getting extra charges. Do not waste your time with this company!

My wife Jean HIckey called the main support number in Florida from the owners manual and she was passed around to five different people and was put on hold for 55 Minuets, and you call this customer service, well you have a long way to go the be customer friendly, what if it had been an emergency? And she still didn't get thru to anyone and was then disconnected

Beware of Hoveround! Ordered my power wheelchair 3 months ago. Yes I had some customizing to my wheelchair, but it shouldn't take longer than 3 months. Called today and they said they are still waiting on part. I would think if your clients can't provide parts find another company. I have canceling order and gone through another company that can provide a chair with the custom items I have requested in a matter of days!

I got the chair delivered, and didn't realize it didn't come with the tie down hooks. When I called, they said that was extra, and charged me $344. So I paid it. I waited 3 weeks, then called to check up on the order, they said they couldn't process the order because she forgot to charge me tax. Why did no one call to let me know that. OK, so I paid the tax. Still nothing. I called back, and now they are saying it's another month because they are out of stock. I left 4 messages for a supervisor to call me back, haven't heard a word. So I've had a chair for 2 months in my home, which my insurance is paying monthly for, and I can't use it. Worst customer Service ever. I may just return the chair, and start the process over with another company.

I tried to get a hoverround scooter. I had an assessment done with my doctor. Something wasn't right with my paperwork. They leave me a message that they can't help me because there's a problem with my paperwork. I get my doctor to fix it. I call to see what's going on. They don't have my doctors assessment anymore. So I have my doctor send it again. Something else is wrong with my paperwork. I have my doctor fix it. I call again to see what's going on. Once again, they no longer have my assessment from my doctor. I have my doctor send it again. Something else is wrong. I have my doctor fix it. I call to check on my status. Once again, they say they don't have my doctors assessment. So apparently everytime they have a problem with your paperwork, instead of hanging on to the paperwork to be corrected, they just delete you out of their system. My doctor has better things to do than to keep sending assessments to these people. You all are incompetent! I found another company that's much more helpful. And don't bother answering my review because I don't want to hear how you can help me. You had your chance 3 times to help me and you didn't because your people are incompetent. People that are trying to get a motorized chair really need it. You are less than helpful.

We had to fight Hoveround for nearly 5 months to get this wheelchair for our daughter. She has a primary and secondary insurance. Although Hoveround participated with both, they told us they would not send us the chair out of fear that the secondary insurance would not pay them. When we offered to pay the balance of the chair ourselves, they said they couldn't do that because - wait for it! - our daughter has secondary insurance, which legally prevented them from accepting our half of the payment! They told us we couldn't get a wheelchair! I fought and fought. We're talking about a wheelchair for our CHILD. Finally, in month five, and only because I thought of suggesting that they send the same approval papers to the secondary insurance company which are normally only submitted to the primary insurance company did Hoveround accept the paperwork and send the chair. Our daughter was without a chair for FIVE MONTHS for a process that should have taken less than ONE MONTH. We are happy with the chair, but not with the company. If you have another option besides this company, take it!

NOT recommended. Hoveround MPV5 Power Chair was bought in January 2020. The chair has need multiple repairs over the past 2+ yrs. August 2020 it need a wheel replacement. August 2021 the controller, arm rest and frayed wire needed replacement. May 2022 the chair completely stopped functioning properly. New batteries were ordered - didn't solve the issue. Since May 10,2022 we have been waiting for a service call to be scheduled. They did take payment for the call which hasn't been made (it has been 11 days and multiple calls). When the previous breakdowns occurred parts were shipped - we had to perform the repair. My FIL is wheelchair bound and has not been able to have a quality of life since the Hoveround chair broke down 11 days ago. Medicare only pays for a chair every 5 yrs. I do not recommend this chair which lasted less than 2 1/2 yrs - with multiple repairs needed during that time.

I order two accessories for a friend two months ago, but the items never shipped. I called Hoveround support three times, and got the royal runaround, no answers, no help. Instead, they just keep promising the items are on their way. But what's more irritating is they charged my credit card immediately on ordering and did not advise me that the items I ordered were not available. They should change the name of this company from Hoveround to Runaround.
