Received two rattan poufs for first Houzz purchase. One has a stitching defect but too time consuming and big to ship back and replace. Had trouble using promotion code so had to call for help. That purchase allowed a 25.00 off promotion code which promoted me to search for lighting. Hopefully this is packed with care and works fine in my dining room. The product assortments are good.

Bought a full dining set from them. Everything was okay, until one, then two, then three of the chairs started to come apart. The company REFUSED to do anything about it because it was a little over a year. The 10% coupon they offered on future purchases added insult to injury. Probably moving this year and we know where we won't be getting our new furniture.

IF I could have given a negative number I would be a negative infinity and beyond number.All I can say is it is not worth the headache, heartache and money. The lack of satisfaction you get from using this software is tremendous. Google search " Houzz Complaints" to get more details or better yet just sign up with a company like Build Book. They may not have all the pretty pictures in their format but it sure works. The worse experience with Houzz I have ever been through.

Make sure you fully understand their terms. Your money is what keeps them in business even if your out of business...

We bought a light fixture in December. It wasn't right for us and we contacted Houzz for return instructions. We followed the instructions and sent the item back. After not receiving a refund, we have been calling, gave Houzz a copy of a the returned UPS shipment showing receipt of the item by the sender. Now Houz says they need ore information to find the order. What more can they ask for?
Totally unsatisfied by their lack of customer service and certainly will never use them again.

Ordered a front door that cost, with tax cost, $2,980.31. It came missing 3 hinges, the front top brick molding, and the top inside casing. I informed Houzz and because they were informed 2 weeks past the 30 day return policy they said I would have to pay for the missing parts, an additional $425 + tax =$460. The door is stained mahogany but it is not actual mahogany. Thankfully, Homepot came through and cost for missing parts under $100.

I purchased 3 shelves from this company to redecorate a room, the shelves were too big. I wanted to keep 1 and return 2 for different sizes (still in the box they came in!) I went on line, houzz wants to charge me $114 to return 2 items that I already paid $140 for. That is insane! So to return an item, they would end up with $254? That doesn't seem legal to me. I will not work with them again.

They will not allow you to cancel your account on your own. They require you to call and discuss why you want to cancel, etc. If a product prevents you from canceling, aka tricking you, it's a bad one.

If you end up needing to cancel it's just better to call your bank for a charge back.

Plus -- their 3d floor plan builder is sooo glitchy and barely works. This is the only thing I wanted to use the account for, but it's just not a good product.

Tip for consumers:
I wouldn't recommend signing up. Their support team can't help you if you want to cancel, and you will get stuck in a subscription even if you ask to cancel. It's not worth the cost at all.

I purchased Chinese chinoserie wall stencils. They were not inexpensive, around $140 with shipping. According to product information, they should have been easy to use. I followed directions, two options of applying stencils to wall, and neither worked. Stencils were too heavy to adhere to walk with repositional adhesive spray. Apparently, Houzz doesn't not assist with returns and said Cutting Edge Stencils manufactured the product and would deal with the return. I just received an email saying they would not return my money since I had already tried to use the stencils. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. An at home project intended to spruce up my bedroom ended on a sour note. This was an expensive lesson. I will never recommend Houzz or cutting edge stencils up my artist community.

Houzz has a big problem - deliveries. 2 separate orders arrived damaged. They also arrived very late - delaying my project and costing me money. They refunded for one damaged vanity - but not another. To add insult to injury - I found both exact same products (and I mean, exact - same packaging, same brand) - locally, for substantially less. Not to mention the delivery was professional and with no damage - unlike Houzz. Stay away - you can do better.

We were redirected to this site mysteriously from the manufacturers web site, what a big problem! Them not only sent the wrong product but denied any responsibility. Their staff are about as helpful as a box of rocks. After a dozen emails and phone calls they reluctantly issued the RGA needed to return and gleefully informed me that the return shipping cost was my problem. If you haven't already guest we are in a dispute over the obnoxious treatment HOUZZ chose to use. BUYER BE WARE!

I ordered a set of bedroom wall lighting from Houzz. The wall light items listed on their website stated the units is dimmable. However, the I received the items they are not. I called Houzz for the return instruction, it was lengthy process, and Houzz don't cover the returned shipping cost. It ends up I have to pay $96 for returned items. Be aware do not order any merchandise from this company.

I ordered a dresser, purchase the wrong type of delivery, so we stopped shipment, refused delivery and sent back. The company refused to give me my money back and I still don't have my piece of furniture. This place is a complete scam and I would be very cautious to do business. They said they would issue a refund minus the return shipping, and never did.!

In addition, there was an option at checkout to purchase a 5-year Mulberry Protection plan, which was never purchased. We encourage our customers to add a Mulberry Protection plan to their orders whenever they purchase, as most of our products only have a 30 day return window for defects. If a product becomes defective past this 30-day window, Houzz relies upon whatever warranty the manufacturer will offer. Ordered an item November 13,2021 delivered in a damaged state on November 23,2021. Followed all instructions for return and have been unsuccessful. A return address was sent by a vendor email without instructions on shipping or refund process handling. No resolution as of December 27,2021. After researching my experience and Houzz there are many issues when encountering items delivered damaged and no receiving prompt customer service follow up.

Tip for consumers:
Hassel for after sale purchases. Seems reassuring up front although when all is
done, not consumer friendly. I'd suggest sticking with larger stores who are versed in handling consumer resolutions easily and quickly. Good luck...

I joined houzz to increase sales at a very high monthly fee and got 4% customer support, I joined again for 2023 since november 2022 and the support from Shane Larson is 0, he keeps telling me that my profile will be updated and it's 2 month later and all I get is bullsit, he says he will help me go over my settings but its just talk

The company Houzz, along with their Merchant Swiss Madison refused to compensate me for a defective toilet after it was discovered after 4 months of use. I was with their customer team for hours within days for over two weeks. I would caution a purchase from this company with a "buyer beware." I do believe that a toilet costing over $500 should last more than four months, considering toilets last for decades. If a company sells a consumer a defective product they should take accountability and make it right.

Ordered a Farm sink from them and came all dented. Most dents would of been hidden but as I explained to them the top of it is dented and wouldn't sit right on top. I opened box because yhe cabinets were being templated and needed sink in cabinet. Explained how I needed another sink ASAP. Took days for a response and they offered me 40$ to keep. Again I'm like I can't use this sink and still haven't heard a response in a week. Will not use this company again. Really bad customer service

Received our order. Began the assembly process which was very extensive. As I reached the final few steps and attempted to connect all the assembled pieces the holes did not line up. If the dowels were inserted then the clips which locked the pieces in place fell below the shelf unit.
Upon calling to either ask for assistance or return arrangements the company gave me a run around and a week into the process continues to ask for unreasonable info with no end in sight. They are not making arrangements thus far for return and a credit.

False advertisement. I am so upset over paying $265 for a piece of crap furniture. I wasted a whole weekend trying to put this piece of supposedly coffee table. It was made of paper thin compboard as this as paper. It fell apart. I found out that u have to pay for shipping to return it. The shipping g costs almost as much as the product. I am sending pictures on what I am talking about

I'm truly sad that I purchased from houzz and received defective and broken item and they didn't care to replace at all. I had proof of all boxing and items. Since I was one day out of 5 day policy. I work as a nurse and only had time to open on weekend. I paid for an item that damaged due to no fault of mine that I can't use. Worst part was the service I received

My husband and I ordered a bed from houzz in January and when it finally arrived in April the box was beyond damaged and the main support piece to the headboard was broken. The delivery was dated while in transit with no updates available and then it just arrived 3- days later with no delivery notification and the box severely damaged. We immediately contacted houzz customer service with photos of the damaged box that was delivered and the part of the bed that was damaged and broken and here we are- 5 weeks later, the bed is still in the box in my dining room not usable and no resolution from houzz. We have been told each time we call that they are waiting to hear back from the vendor on a resolution and that there is no one to escate this to however 5 weeks is beyond a reasonable time frame to provide a resolution. The icing on top is that i am also pregnant with no bed to sleep on because its been in a box broken since it arrived. This was our first time purchasing from houzz and we were hopeful to purchase additional items because the buying process was easy and the shipping time was decent however given our current experience I don't trust houzz.

I ordered a table over a month ago. It is two weeks after the promised delivery date but it did not arrive. I called multiple times and asked to cancel it but customer service will not cancel it because it has a status of shipped. "Metropolitan Warehouse". Cannot tell me if or when it will arrive.
This is the latest message I received;
"As of now, there is still no estimated delivery date but the tracking should be updated every 24-48 hours. Please let us know if you have further questions.". Tracking is not updated
Regularly. I just called again abs they said they will put down the 20th but they won't estimate because they have no idea when it will arrive. Yes my question is when will I get my table?! I would absolutely NEVER order from the is site again.

That ordered items can take weeks or months to arrive, but the buyer has no ability to cancel the item once ordered …even though there is no guarantee that the item will ever arrive.

Products used:
It has been a month and I have not received my table yet. They won’t let me cancel it. If it ever arrives which is very questionable, I will have to pay shipping to return it.

They hire great sales people, but that is all. I wasn't contacted for over a month after signing the agreement, because THEY entered my information incorrectly, I had already signed in with my email and it was correct. They then blamed me for not contacting them... After all that was sorted I hoped for better results. Boy was I wrong... out of about 15 "leads" I only spoke to one person who was just shopping and wanted a ball park price and decided not to go forward with any project... just a waste of time and money. STAY AWAY... I chalked up my 3+k as a loss and moved on... dont make the same mistake!
