I have HAD it with your service! I am in the process of transferring BOTH of my domain names OUT to a different host, because I can't get ANYTHING done! Your staff don't speak proper English, and I ALWAYS have a $#*! of a time understanding them, and THEY also have a $#*! of a time understanding ME. Any time I present a problem to you guys, you don't even READ my problem! You just pick out the words you can understand and go with that. Well lemme tell you something! That is NO way to run a business! You have just lost me to IONOS!

Very slow hosting, does not support memcache, memcached, opcache or other performance enhancements that are considered basic options for shared hosting at A2 and other cheaper hosting providers.

Billing is not clearly labeled, for example what SSL for what domain you were automatically billed for or getting billed twice for the same SSL while it was not even installed. The portal is very SLOW. Chat takes a long time to help as they usually don't have the answers at hand. I don't feel I can always trust support with people that are not trained properly or don't have enough knowledge and experience. For some overseas tickets, you are not sure they can understand your issue, or they do not respond even after asking the same thing a few times as it's never the same person that answers a ticket. Don't feel that valued as a customer or that I'm getting a quality service.

I have been a hostgator customer for a few years. Website performance is quite good and uptime is great, but what I like most is the chat support.: always available, willing to help, knowledg, and most of the time my problems are solved in the first interaction. The only thing I would criticize is that after a few moments of inactivity session is closed and you have to start allmover again.

I have been with HostGator for almost 10 years. An issue with your server effective my website. I called like 15 times maybe more to try to fix it. And all I was offer was to update my server from 11.99 to 70 dollars. When all needed to happen was transfer to a different server. Every person I talked with was not helpful and would pass the buck to someone else. The Customer Service is very poor. And I am leaving HostGator.

Answer: SITEGROUND FIXED IN HOURS WHAT HOSTGATOR DID NOT OR COULD NOT FIX IN 9 DAYS
Answer: If you go straight to smartchat, it is very easy - you only need to find the smartchat button. I have worked with the Internet since web browsers were invented, so I know most of the answers already. That means that when I have a problem that I can't solve, it is going to be a real stinker for HostGator support to solve - I only bring them the difficult ones. Recently, I had an ISP who gave me terrible service, and the internet kept dropping out every few minutes. The Hostgator smartchat expert kept contact with me on and of for about an hour and three quarters until he had worked out the answer for me. That is what I call RELIABLE service.
