I booked a cheap ticket bkk to lax then lax to jakarta. A few minutes later is the price dropped $60 so i chatted them and ask if i can get credited the difference. They said no so i left everything the way it was. 2 days passed i got to download my ticket the system says the booking was canceled. I called them they said i had canceled the ticket on 9/10 at 7am which wasn't true because I'm in Indonesia. No email was sent or anything. I saved the chat and i never canceled the ticket also

One moment
I have been waiting 8 months for a refund because my April flight to Paris was cancelled in March because of Coronavirus. They told me the refund cannot happen without the waiver.
I called Hop2 customer service who blamed this on the airline saying, "the airline takes a long time to send the waiver, up to 40 days or more".
I call the airline to ask about the waiver, and the airline informs me there is a number the third party travel agent can call to receive the refund waiver in the same day.
I offer this phone number to Hop2 customer service, they tell me Iberian Airlines is LYING and flat out refuse to call the number asserting that I am confused and don't understand how the system works.
I then get the Iberian customer service representative on the same line with the Hop2 representative to confirm that this number exists and that they can deliver the waiver to them today. Hop2 STILL claims the airline is lying and I go through several different customer service representatives and managers who all COMPLETELY refuse to call the number. Eventually, they just begin transferring me back and forth from customer service to exchanges, and back and forth over and over.
I then am transferred to a manager who then ALSO refuses to call the number for 30 minutes, and asks me questions like "why would we not want to refund you?", like I am supposed to have an answer that explains their terrible business practices/ customer service. He then claims that the person who is able to help me make the call to the travel agent number from Iberia is "off shift" just a few minutes after another worker confirmed they were in fact on shift. I am then later transferred to the person who was previously "off shift"... So first he was working, then he wasn't, then he was again... Once I am transferred to him, he then informs me he has no authority to help me after I was being specifically transferred to him because he was supposed to be the one who could help.
They still have not issued my refund, and still refuse to call the waiver number provided by the airline.
This place should be reported to the better business bureau. It is unbelievable the amount of false statements they have made just over the course of these phone calls. These people are scam artists, and will do anything to hold onto your money. Do not book with this company.
My experience with HOP 2 is extremely positive. I made two separate reservations when I went to Moscow this July (One Lansing to ORD -UA, the second one ORD to Moscow -Finnair). The two different airlines have no affiliations at all. At the LAN airport, I learned that there were thunderstorms in Chicago and my flight from LAN to ORD was cancelled. Thus, I failed to get to ORD and missed the flight to Moscow from ORD.
At LAN, I called the HOP2 to explain the situation. If my memory serves correct, Cindy called the Finnair immediately to cancel my flight to Moscow. My cancellation was only several hours before the departure to Moscow. My tickets were non-refundable, non- exchangeable and had no value if I failed to show up. When I returned home with dismay, I have found an unfamiliar Caller ID on my landline. Later, I learned it was from HOP2.
Next day, I purchased new tickets from HOP 2 to go to Moscow (itinerary was identical except two days delay). And then, I called company to explain my situation that the cancellation was beyond my control due to the weather. After I arrive at Moscow, I received an e mail from Audrey that she made effort to find a way to get refund of my tickets. She told me that she was working with Tyler at the waiver department.
Audrey provided an exceptional customer care by displaying professionalism. She responded to my email very swiftly and updated my case regularly with no empty promises. She even requested the supporting documents such as UA boarding pass to make my case stronger. I feel that she must have worked relentlessly with Tyler to get the refund even though my case was a difficult one. I am sure that Tyler must have presented my case logically to persuade the Finnair to refund my tickets.
Two days ago, I have noticed that American Express CC has credited a full amount of my tickets except a minor travel agent processing fee. I was pleasantly surprised to see the refund was made while I am in Moscow. The significance of this case was that there have been efficient team efforts in HOP2 members and active communication between the HOP2 staffs and me. Most importantly, they were willing to stand up for their clients.
I have read some disturbing comments about HOP2 from the website. However, my experience has been completely opposite to those remarks. If your previous experience is "NO" to this company, please give another "NO" (New Opportunity) for HOP2. I am confident that HOP2 is credible and has ability as well strong potential to gain your trust.
