I placed an order for fully assembled custom cabinets. The design process was super easy and the design rep was super nice. However, once I raised an issue about the order, no one was willing to help. I received my order and I knew I would have to mount the shelves to the wall, so paid someone to do this for me. My order did not come with the handles for the drawers and predrilled holes were not made for the handles. I requested the handles to be sent to me and they were, however I was stuck paying someone to install the handles for me or buy the tools to do so myself. Both of these options were going to cost me money that I did not plan to spend because I was purchasing a fully assembled item. When I reached out to customer service for assistance they were no help at all. They basically wanted to talk over me then tell me they were going to disconnect the call. She told me they do not assemble the handles because they do not know where the customer wants them (probably on the drawers... right?), she also told me that I did not have the option to return them because I did not pay for them and there was nothing to return, however; my design clearly indicates the handle on the design and invoice which is included in the price. This means they should have been assembled and should have been included with the original shipment. The really upsetting thing was that they did not care that I was not happy with my order and did nothing to help me find a resolution for this. Their resolution was to simply tell me they do not give refunds or make price adjustments. After 30 minutes of speaking to the lead rep Chelsea, the conversation was going no where. She was very rude to me and would not let me talk at any point. She made the situation worse by talking down to me and when I made the request to speak someone else about her behavior she refused. Chelsea is the worse customer service rep I have ever dealt with. I called Home Depot directly to complain and their customer service reps were absolutely understanding, patient and helpful. They ended up calling Home Decorators as well and got the same treatment from Chelsea that I did. Basically they have 4 reps and Chelsea is the lead so you do not get any help at all. The Home Depot reps did credit me back 10% of my purchase price and were very accommodating and even went out of their way to send the vendor contact an email about my experience with Chelsea and their experience with this horrible person. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I will not be recommending them and I will be telling everyone I know how horrible Chelsea treated me. I hope Home Depot cuts off all ties with this company and I hope Chelsea gets some additional training on customer service.
