Can I give less than 1 star?
Ordered a dress that arrived in good condition but the zipper was beyond difficult. Went back and forth with the company who wanted me to take it to another tailor to fix. Sent them video proof of the issue. They agreed to refund me half of what I paid. But after not receiving anything from them I followed up. They claimed their credit card account wasn't working so could I give them my bank card info to refund the money. Absolutely not. I am currently disputing with my credit card company. Hot-Dress told my credit card company they sent the dress with a zipper that just needed lubricant. LIES. I am continuing the dispute.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Scam! Steals your money and sends you UNWEARABLE product! They lie and string you along for weeks and in the end refuse to return your money and stop responding. They cannot sew a dress properly! Save your money, or does not look like the pictures!

Please stay far, far away from Hodress! Save yourself the massive headache! They are liars and do not honour their own policies.

I have over 50 emails from them trying to obtain a refund from them because they assured me that my dress would arrive on time, lied to me about when they would ship it, and then shipped it to me even after I had cancelled my order with them! The best they have offered (which definitely doesn't cut the mustard for a dress that I no longer need or want) was $35 back for a $200 dress!

Buyers beware!

Everything about this dress was inferior. I spent $160 on a dress with an incorrect zipper, uneven hem and poor quality fabric. Steer clear at all costs! The company refuses a refund and does not offer customer service.

I purchased a $250 custom made formal dress. When I received it I cried. It was terrible, the lining was attached to the outside of dress uneven, sizing was even worse. After sending photos of the horrific dress their 1st reply was to keep the dress and they will cover cost of alterations... I said no as I custom ordered it so it should have fit... Second reply was for me to keep the dress and they will refund me $20... What a load of crap. Absolutely disgusting... Never will I ever order from this pathetic excuse of formal online store...

Don't be tempted to ever try this rip-off company. I ordered a dress which looked beautiful in the photo. It arrived jammed into a much too small plastic pack and was so creased it took 2 weeks for the creases to fall out and reveal the terrible workmanship! I sent my measurements but couldn't even get the dress on as I couldn't get my arms into the tiny sleeve openings! The zip was crooked right down the back. The chiffon soft pleats were distorted and held together in places by large stitches. The small train was at the side instead of the back! The "in built bra" went down to the waist and bulged at the sides. I took it to a dress-maker and she said there was nothing she could do as it would need to be completely pulled apart and remade! At first Hodress begged me not to return it as postage would cost too much! Then they offered me $20 and came up to $45 and wouldn't give me any more. The dress cost me over $200.00 incl. Postage and is absolutely unwearable! I can't even donate it to an op-shop as it wouldn't fit anyone. These people should be exposed for misrepresentation! Stay well clear of them or you will get badly burnt as I have.

Do not trust Hodress return & refund policy! Scam website!
I purchase a dress to be a bridesmaid at a wedding. Hodress factory made a mistake and I received a dress in the wrong colour.
I spent over 2 weeks requesting for a replacement or refund. They refused to give me a replacement unless I paid more money for it. Hodress costumer service reply: we can make a new dress for you with the correct color, and you just pay for a little money for the new dress, is that ok? This is an absurd response since it was their mistake.
They also refused to give me a refund and give me an address to return the dress.
At the end I paid $200 for a custom made dress, which I can't wear and I can't. I also had to purchase a second dress to wear at the wedding.
Hodress uses an Australian domain website but they are in China, they do not comply with Australian Consumer Rights.
Do never trust Hodress or any business linked to Hong Kong Lavson Technology Limited.

We made the mistake of buying a bridesmaid dress off their website. We ordered a pearly pink almost neutral coloured dress.

The dress we received is in a disgusting hot candy pink and does not even zip up on me even though we ordered the size correct to measurements.

They have offered me a $20 refund on this $200 DOLLAR DRESS, even though they admitted that the colour was not the colour we ordered.

They are telling me that "oh you can still wear the dress its not that bad"
UM HELLO I AM NOT GOING TO WEAR A BRIGHT PINK MAID OF HONOUR DRESS IN A BRIDAL PARTY MADE UP OF WHITE AND NEUTRAL DRESSES AND SUITS.

YOUR TYPICAL ASIAN SCAM ARTISTS WHO WILL NOT GIVE YOU A CENT OF YOUR MONEY DESPITE IT BEING THEIR FAULT.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE - YOU WILL REGRET IT. THEY ARE NOT AN AUSTRALIAN SITE.

I buy the black sweetheart dress to attend a evening party. I love it very much which fit me very well. I want to thanks Hodress.com for good service and wonderful quality.The style of this dress is fashionable this year and the price is so cheap. I love it.
