LOVE the glasses I ordered from Hip Optical. They claim in two business days. I ordered 3 pairs. One of the pairs I didn't like the color and they had no issues exchanging them even with my prescription! I got my prescription + glasses + upgraded to the thin lenses for only $99.00 including shipping. I was blown away. I've told all my friends about Hip Optical. I will be ordering again soon!

“Refuse to refund”

Hip optical is not refunding my purchase although I have returned the glasses in a timely manner and requested the refund per their guidelines. They are stalling the refund by offering a gift card, then asking pointless questions. With the 30 day refund window now approaching with them not sending refund, I am looking for next steps. Advice?

I was impressed when we showed up on Sunday to order multiple pairs of glasses. The designs were very fashion forward and the prices really good. My wife has a tendency to lose glasses. I ordered a pair of reading glasses and sun glasses and she ordered two pairs of reading glasses. They are sending them out Monday. I learned they have a lab in South Florida so the glasses are assembled and sent within one day. Nice Job.

At first I was skeptical because I found the site on my Instagram feed. Thank you for the price it wouldn't hurt because I just needed reading classes. They have a great selection of frames. I can't wear regular store board classes because I have an astigmatism and needed a prism in the lenses. When I received my classes I couldn't have been any happier. An amazing quality frame and the lenses were perfect. I'm in the process of ordering another pair. For easy type frames I would highly recommend HipOptical!

Customer service was very helpful Especially when it came to needing my pupillary distance. The way they do it came back perfect! Don’t hesitate to purchase

I received my order within 3 days. I usually have to pay over $300 for my high prescription lens. $99 was definitely in my range especially with the thin lens. Nice frame and no adjustments needed. Will purchase again.

I ordered a very cool pair of sunglasses last summer, and was very excited as they seemed to be good quality although the hinges were a bit weird. Since I own so many sunglasses, I really didn't wear these ones that often and unfortunately last week one of the arms with the funky hinges, literally just fell apart. Glasses never fell. I never used them improperly. Always stored them in the case. They literally just fell apart. I contacted hip optical to see if they would replace them or repair them and they refused to help me out. Kept on citing their 30 day return policy and wouldn't stand behind their product. The only thing they were willing to offer is a $20 discount on my "next order". What a joke. To say that I am disgusted is an understatement, and I WARN OTHERS away from buying from this company

I purchased a pair of DEP glasses (black). They look amazing on me and I am so happy with them. I purchased in their Boca store and they were ready the next day. I only paid $199 for progressive glasses with excellent thin lenses. I still can not get over that I ordered at 10am on Monday and they were ready on Tuesday (crazy). You can buy online or direct in store in south Florida.

I purchased glasses here in Florida and had them shipped to my home and received them in 3 days. That was faster then I expected and they are excellent quality. I need progressive glasses and they only charged me $199. If you want glasses for distance they are only $99. That includes the Premium thin lenses, Anti-reflective coating, anti-scratch coating and ultraviolet filtering. They also have two stores down here in Florida, one in Fort Lauderdale on Las Olas and one in Boca Town Center in Boca Raton. They make the glasses down here in Florida and not offshore so that is probably why they are good and fast.

Tip for consumers:
Make sure you have your prescription before ordering.

Recommended by a friend - visited their FLL store on Las Olas Boulevard while on vacation. Assisted by Sales Associate Dayana.

Brought in 2 pair of my high end frames - store where I purchased them wanted a ton on money for new trifocal lenses. With Dayana's guidance, I purchased two sets of lenses for 1/3 the cost I had been quoted elsewhere. Picked up the first pair in 2-3 days as promised - beautifully boxed and finished.

Second pair will be shipped to me.

Top drawer place. Stop by and see Dayana. Certain you will be pleased by her professionalism and the quality of the product.

I was delighted to find an online source for bifocals. On September 3rd, 2021, I tried to order sunglasses using the frame size etched into my current frames. 3 month, 18 emails later, and 3 100% reversals of the companies stated policy, I do not have a refund, nor do I have glasses.

As soon as I selected my frames online I received a thank you for ordering message - this was PRIOR to my adding my prescription. I immediately contacted the company and was told how to upload the prescription separately and send it in, which I did.

7 days later, I received a pair of glasses, they were not SUNGLASSES, the prescription was incorrect, and the fame size was something best fitting a large buffalo head. I contacted the company. They were very apologetic and told me they would make the order correctly, and to please send them a different frame size the sunglass tint and the prescription. Which I did.

I get an immediate email back saying "so sorry, we have a 30 day return policy which you exceeded", however, I COULD go ahead and sing up for the warrantee and they would replace them for "free" ( the warrantee cost about $35.00. I was irritated but called the company to sign up for the warrantee and have the glasses replaced. But wait the customer service person was super kind and patronizing and slowly stated to me that I could not buy the policy AFTER I purchased the glasses, because, duh, insurance is sold before the accident.

I complained in writing to customer service and threatened to review them poorly. They suddenly "spoke to their supervisor" and for me, a special case they would replace the glasses (that they had done incorrectly) at no cost to me.

I requested a return label to send the incorrect lens back and was told (again in writing) that this was unnecessary, to please let them know the lens, and frames I'd like which I did. They responded requesting confirmation about the lens tint, which I gave them...

6 weeks later, having not heard from them nor having received my glasses I followed up to find out where in the process they were. I was told that they hadn't been made because I did not repackage the frames and return them... grrrr... I told them we had been through this and they send a second email telling me to return the frames that they made a mistake on my nickel (at Christmas time). I asked for a refund and have not heard anything from them.

To add to the irritation, every correspondence has several super friendly comment, like "be safe". Really? Is this an elementary school playground? Seriously. DO NOT PURCHSE FROM THSI COMPANY UNLESS YOU HAVE THE BANDWIDTH TO BABYSIT/
