Hilton Grand Vacations

Do not get into a timeshare! We have been in dispute with HGV over the last several​ months but they are refusing to assist​ us and have now requested intrusive information from us regarding our finances. We have already paid this timeshare company close to $70,000 over the last decade, resulting in the ownership being completely paid for. They have all of our money and we just want out! There is no reason why any more of our financial information should be needed to end our ownership. We find this very discomforting. We are tired of the company giving us the runaround. We have explained the financial hardship the ownership creates, this should be enough for them yet they are always wanting more and more. The constant anxiety is more than we can handle and we want this over with. ​ No contract should be FOREVER

To get me to agree to sign up for a discounted package to hear about their resort, they had me pull up Hilton Signia Orlando as one of the places they said I would have as an option because I was not interested in the resorts the first sales guy mentioned. They said it fills up quick, so I would have to call and reserve dates which I tried to do immediately after I purchased the package. I was then given the run around for the entire year while I was trying to book, each time giving me future dates to call back. My trip is next month and it was just confirmed I will not get the resort I was promised and they refuse to refund me. That resort was NEVER available! I plan on going 2/14/24, but I can promise that they will wish they refunded my money instead of having me loudly discussing my dissatisfaction in their lobby, restaurant, pool, and to everybody that is in ear shot distance. THIS COMPANY IS A BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM!

What a scam.
Time share is a scam. Check your app. You can book the same rooms for the same cost of how much you pay for a time share FYI.
Found this out after going to their stupid presentation and being told I couldn't buy a time share because I was divorced and couldn't find a certificate to show them proof. They need proof of MY DIVORCE IN ORDER FOR ME TO GET A TIME SHARE. LOL WHAT A JOKE. THE AUDACITY. I dodged a bullet. Told my friends, told everyone in the military, told everybody at my country clubs to avoid a time share with Hilton.

After I contacted Hilton on 1 May 2023; and booked a room, my call was transferred to an associate at the Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV). I was told by HGV staff Magnus that if I listened to a promotional material (aka sales pitch on timeshare), points would be added to my Hilton membership account right away.

Alas, it's 10 May 2023 now; but no points were added. I called up HGV; but my call was passed from one representative to another. The last call was with HGV staff Davara - unfriendly and rude.

To keep the long and very unpleasant call short, HGV does not honor its promise. Lesson learned - stay away from Hilton Grand Vacations!

I'm an owner and I wish i would've never gotten involved with these people. They sell your information and they constantly shake you down for as much money as they can beg from you. Since paying off my timeshare they try to sell me a new one daily. No matter how many times i request to be taken off the list they call as well as their affiliates call daily. As soon as i say please remove me from your call list they hang up in my face before i can finish saying it. So rude! I hope to change my number soon. Hilton is like the stalker ex that just won't go away.
