I have so many wonderful things to say about Lamont, I don't know where to start. He was extremely knowledgeable about the service he provided. He was on time, professional, called me ahead of time, so he could come prepared with the correct supplies, he was pleasant to chat with, worked very fast and cleaned up after the job was completed. The television mount works perfect and looks great. I would definitely recommend calling him!
This company is terrible I have had 3 different appointments and techs. 0 out of 3 showed. When you contact them they will give you the run around and ask you to keep giving them a new time slot, only to not show again. They are a joke in the chattanooga, tn area. And have the nerve to say they provide same day service That's a lie. Alarm system was never installed Save yourself the trouble and get someone else
Placement was off. I wished the gentleman made sure it was straightened before leaving.
They should take this off their site and if they can get u this then great, but I haven't received same day service in years
Amanda, the tech, was great- friendly and knowledgeable. The less than 5 star rating has more to do with expectations, I guess. I have a mix of brand new components, e.g. TV and sound bar, and older parts, e.g. tuner, CD & DVD players. I thought the technician would have arrived with some supplies to address the situation since I was only asked if I had all necessary cables when the appt was made. I didn't know what I had vs what I needed. The system is more connected than it was but there're still things left to do. Like I said- perhaps the issue was around expectations.
I recent had a smart thermostat installed. The tech was right on time and installed the thermostat quickly and accurately, but the rep at the call center had not informed me I needed a c wire to supply a constant power source. The tech ran a line from thermostat to a transformer that plugs into my wall for the princely sum of $120 additional. This is not internal wiring, mind you; essentially, it's just a very, very expensive plug. Had I know what I'd get for this cost, I'd have called an electrician and had a C wire run internally.

Scheduling an appointment via HelloTech was a bit frustrating. I would recommend communicating that installers aren't available in all areas and that it could potentially take 3-5 (possibly more) business days to locate one. It would have also been helpful to know upfront that earlier/before 5 p.m. appointments are best; if the installer runs into issues and escalation becomes necessary (as it was in my case), the Ring support techs are done for the day at 6 p.m., which, resulted in my installer having to make a 2nd trip (after 5 p.m. on a Friday night) to get my Ring device connected. Overall, I feel there were some inconveniences that could have been avoided, but the HelloTech reps were professional and personable ... the installer was super nice, knowledgeable, and patient ... and my Ring Pro device is working perfectly!
Had difficulty getting connected. Tech availability was sparse and delayed. Tech was late but competent. Communication skill could have been better. Overall service was satisfactory.
My technician Keishon was fantastic. He did a wonderful job, and was efficient and kind. I can't recommend him enough. However, the experience with Hello Tech as a whole was not as good. They kept sending me text messages asking for photos of my lock even though I was not hiring Hello Tech for a lock replacement (or anything to do with my lock). I kept replying, but no one would respond. It was frustrating. I then called Hello Tech and told them, and after the call, I KEPT getting texts! It was almost comical. Then, at 12pm the day of the appointment, I got a text from Hello Tech saying, 'Your technician is on his way for his 9am appointment' (so, the text came 3 hours late). It was just bad service, though the technician himself was fantastic.
I requested service that wasn't resolved on first visit, however on 2nd visit to resolve problem the service price doubled. Tech. could have been a little more vocal in explaining problems that I incurred because of my unfamiliarity with process.
Melvin was the best but the first guy Rick was not reliable at all. If we started with Melvin you would've got all fives.
