I have so many wonderful things to say about Lamont, I don't know where to start. He was extremely knowledgeable about the service he provided. He was on time, professional, called me ahead of time, so he could come prepared with the correct supplies, he was pleasant to chat with, worked very fast and cleaned up after the job was completed. The television mount works perfect and looks great. I would definitely recommend calling him!
This company is terrible I have had 3 different appointments and techs. 0 out of 3 showed. When you contact them they will give you the run around and ask you to keep giving them a new time slot, only to not show again. They are a joke in the chattanooga, tn area. And have the nerve to say they provide same day service That's a lie. Alarm system was never installed Save yourself the trouble and get someone else
He would no listen when I told him he was at the wrong address he was going to cancel the job but I meet him at the wrong address that was give by the one who took my order and he had a bad attitude
The guy was professional and was great service, however he told me next time go though Walmart and save 80.00 though them not use this company. Also they cornered me into a subscription service and hard to cancel its 19.99 a month pretty much told me I'm screwed until renewal a year later.

Took them 3 installations & 2 different techs & 2 different ring devices to get it right... I won't buy from Ring again.
Please have someone come fix it before it falls off the wall.

Provide any form of receipt for services and will drag out for months an attempt to get one with prevarication, many phone calls, and tons of emails. You will have NO proof of purchase.

Hello tech call and said help on the way but they never came this happened 3 time so I cancel order and bought used desktop to get back on line
I had a ring item installed. The technician was on time and very nice, but I found it concerning that I was asked to pay through an app. Since the technician couldn't do not complete all of the items that had been prepaid, he suggested canceling the service and paying him directly. I asked him if it was against policy and he said no. Well, I read the FAQ after he left and it is against the HelloTech policy. I assume he didn't want them to get a percentage of the fee. It looks like I didn't receive service and I did. I have video of him doing the install to prove it. He also did not do a great job, it looks haphazard. I think he tried his best but wasn't skilled enough. I would not recommend HelloTech to anyone.
I asked the tech to download icon on to my computer I have none. He put some in favorites. Overall I paid 89 dollars for him to get my printer running. I called to see if the would come back and rectify it. And they didn't
First, they promised a same day visit. Canceled. Then, asked my avail On Weds. Strike 2- they canceled again after I took time off work.
If your repair is not urgent, and you don't mind speaking with Filipino call centers, go ahead and give them a call! They'll send a tech out, eventually…
We booked help setting up an Alexa for our sister in a nursing home. Benjamin C was 26 minutes late. He didn't listen to what we wanted, gave conflicting answers to the same question and ultimately, nothing that he said he had fixed worked when we got home. I called the company and asked for a re-do or a refund. They agreed to send a tech again, I insisted it had to be someone different. We'll see how it goes, but at least they didn't try to wiggle out of sending a second person to try again
We purchased our product through Home Depot we contacted hello tech's and they came within one day Derek the tech was amazing..Unfortunately one of the units was defective we contacted the customer service rep. and they overnight our unit and everything is working perfect thank you again for Derek you were awesome, Steven
Hello Tech needs to do a better job with customer service. I was misquoted a price apparently bc they never put in I needed metal studs. However when HT looked back at my chat with online person they saw we discussed metal studs. CS wanted me to pay, then tried to offer me a deal, just pay for one not two. That is not CS when company makes mistakes. I refused to pay and either take the biz as is or I'll tell tech to leave. Tech was excellent , however HT also decided not to add in the wire coverings which he now pays out of his pocket. That too was discussed in orig chat. So no, I would not recommend HT if that's your question.
Too expensive, if I knew it was a ridiculous over all price never would've went along with deal. But 1st and last time swiping my card like this. The tech was very nice, speedy, got the job done well I'm happy with work not price.
I became aware of HelloTech through Walmart when I purchased a television. I called to schedule an appointment. And the representative they sent was courteous. After meeting him, I showed him the wall that i wanted the TV mounted on and left the room (due to COVID concerns, also the gentlemen had a beard and was not being truly protected by a mask). Upon his completion. I entered the room and the television was mounted. Initially, the mount appeared to be done well but the next day while watching the television, my neck was straining and it appeared the mount was too high and uncomfortable to watch TV. I called HelloTech immediately for a re-mount. Each time i called (4x), i was told they would send my request to a team for evaluation. This appears to be a still tactic, as when I called the 5th time, I was told that an email had been sent and my re-mount denied. There was no email in my box. I was upset by the customer service received and will now take my complaints to Walmart. What a doorway to do business!
The ring video pro was faulty and the tech could not install so I wasted 50 bucks for nothing!! They are sending me a replacement but now no installation unless I pay another 50 bucks!! Doesn't sound like a good deal to me!
Megan contacted me originally and immediately told me that she knew what the issue was and had me go buy a new Linksys mesh network without seeing the issue. I purchased the $250 equipment despite already having a very new wifi network. While she certainly tried to get the speeds up, she had to leave to get to the next appointment. My wifi signal was now fairly strong but speeds were not really improved. Right after she left, my service was WAY worse than it was before she cane out. She told me that I'd have to work with Fidium (my internet provider - 1GB speed is what I pay for) now on the speeds. Today, the Fidium tech came out and was able to get the speeds up from the modem. But, the speeds out of the new wifi network that Megan had me get simply weren't much better.
Service rep came to fix my universal remote and sync my various tv components. He was in the house for about a half hour. After he left I tried the system and I was back where I started from. There's no way to contact any reps directly. I explained the problem to the customer service number and emailed them the problem…nothing! One email said they would look into it…one week later and still no word! I paid $160 for absolutely nothing and no one at Hello Tex cares. Don't use this company!
