I placed two orders with this company. I had to return a couple of items from both orders. I never received a refund! $70 worth of clothes they got back but did t refund me for! I emailed several times. I tried to call several times. I submitted a BBB complaint which they never responded to! Radio silent! Aweful, Aweful company!

Disturbing customer service! Love their products, but been discouraged more and more after each of their client mistreats! Need to email them twice to get refund for returns; items which were already paid for were out of stock; items were missing... 0/10

Watch your wallet! Refunds and returns are often a problem, and if you don't fight for it or miss it, kiss it goodbye. I thought anything Nordstrom was supposed to have great customer service. Not even close!

Sometimes you can find good deals, but 75% (3 out of 4) of my orders have either arrived with missing items or one a pair of sandals that broke after being worn 5 times. I will say that their customer service has been very good every time. This most recent order was just the last straw because I can't be running to Nordstrom Rack (which is not even in my city) to return stuff all the time.

I was just disconnected while waiting to talk to a supervisor in order to TRY and get the $90 they are keeping for LATE FEES because I didn't know their return policy had been cut to 45 days. I've been shopping with them since 2011 and it had always been 90 days. That changed occurred February 2018, my purchase was in March, and my return arrived after 45 so they are keeping $90 for LATE FEES! Fees I actually never knew existed because I always returned items before 90 days.

One thing making this VERY PROBLEMATIC is because those 45 days begin not upon the delivery date, but on their ship date. The second PROBLEMATIC issue is, when do they consider the item received? When the box is received at warehouse or when item is re-shelf ready?
My goal is to get a one time waiver for those fees from a supervisor since the policy change is recent. The customer service rep. Although helpful, basically told me I would be wasting my time because Hautelook had not waived any fees for their customers. Guess I'll find out soon.

Their customer service sucks. It took almost a month to get my purchase and when I called (three times) because the site said it was at the warehouse they couldn't tell me why I hadn't received my package. To my surprise I got my package today. When I looked at my account it said the items were still at the warehouse! Ruelala is much better.

Well, my friend insisted I check out haute look... I love their pricing. Unfortunately, they RARELY have plus-sized clothes (no, XL is NOT plus sized) so if you are a bigger girl- it may just make you sad watching all these amazing clothes at awesome prices that you can't even DREAM of fitting in...

My first order from hautelook.com arrived without a problem, however, my second order - a pair of women's leather boots, did not. Instead I received a pair of men's boots with no packing slip. I called hautelook and was told I have to ship these back and then i will be refunded but I will not receive the boots I have been waiting weeks for! I am really upset as I was so looking forward to my new boots for a trip I am going on. So one of two orders did not make it to me- not a good record so far!

Return processing takes over a month and the company loses orders, so impossible to track your return some of the time. I will no longer purchase from them.

I ordered a pair of Rock and Republic jeans from them a few months ago and when they arrived they didn't have a tag on them. The care label was also hanging by a thread. The jeans itself looked somewhat new so I didn't bother returning them. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of getting charged on returns.

Although, I really think you can get great deals on this site, it's extremely frustrating to shop there. First off, as soon as a new sale started most of the items I like are already "on hold," which I think is a terrible idea, by the way. Secondly, when you're trying to shop around and add items to your cart, you're basically timed! They give you 15 minutes for each items, so you have to rush in order to complete the checkout. You don't even have the chance to think for a moment if you really want that item or the other! So, frustrating! I just placed my first order on there, but I don't think I'll be returning again unless they change that timer crap! It's as if you go to a department store and you constantly have a sales associate behind you're back saying "So, are gonna check out now? Huh?! Hurry up before it's gone! C'mon, let's go!" Lol Now, try to imagine that... that's pretty much what it's like.

I've only ordered one thing from here and it arrived after about 2 1/2 weeks - something I'd known already. Aside from that, their prices aren't the best for what they offer as similar brands tend to crop up on other sample sales sites. I also have ran into things I might have wanted to buy, but ended up not because of their no returns. And personally, their roster of brands just doesn't appeal to me but they do feature more cosmetics, skin and other items more than the other sample sites.

I found this website recently and thought it as too good to be true. Upon finding a pair of shoes that I loved, I put them in my cart and continued browsing. I made sure to keep an eye on the timer, as you only have 15 minutes to checkout before they make the item available to others. I went to check out with over 4 minutes left on the hold and was told the item was sold out! So not only do they give you a 15 minute time limit to make your selections, but they don't even hold the item for the full 15 minutes as promised! After I was told that the shoes were sold out, I went back to the page where I found them and they were completely gone... not even listed under the sold out ones. I contacted customer service via e-mail and have yet to hear back from them. Buyers beware! I believe that they use cheap prices to lure in customers only to make the items unavailable when you try to purchase them.

Hautelook is not all its cracked up to be. I have ordered from them 4 times now and have found myself very unimpressed. My first disappointment was a pair of boots I bought that look nothing like they did in the picture and feel SO cheap. I am very unimpressed with the quality of products I have received, clearly there is a reason there products are 80% off. The only purchase I didn't mind was the stuff I bought for boyfriend which I thought was decent quality for the money. The thing that turns me off most about this site and has lost many of my sales is the 15 minute limit they have on the items in your cart in which you then lose those items and have to re-add them IF they are still available and let me tell you 15 minutes is NOT enough time to shop the site and they clearly are just encouraging impulse buys. The shipping also has lost many of my purchases its basically $10 which is ridiculous and in my mind takes off from the actual savings you are getting. I'm sure there are a few gems on the site just make sure your really careful on trying to find them and usually those gems are sold out in the first 20 minutes. Anything that is still sitting there at the end of the day and is not on hold or sold out is not worth it more than likely (there's a reason they arent sold out). Anyways happy style hunting, I'm sure there are a few good finds.

I've ordered almost a dozen things from this site but the last two times have been terrible. I got $150 boots and they were a mismatch. One was wrinkled and warn and the other was perfect condition. I just received a ring today that was listed as. 10 ctw with a scratch... Diamonds shouldn't scratch so I looked into it and turns out it is from sears and listed as CZ... awesome thanks for lying hautelook...

As with some other reviewers, initially, I loved HauteLook. Thought I had the opportunity to purchase high end merchandise for a steal. Maybe that is the case for SOME of their merchandise, but not all. I would advise a web search before pressing "buy". You may find that another site is selling the product/article of clothing for an equal amount or less. Unfortunately, I am finding that this is the case. More and more.

Like everyone else reviewing Hautelook I was drawn in by the great looking products and variety. I have probably ordered a dozen times and the only reason I continually go back is because they continually give me credits to use up due to their constant errors with my orders. My very first order came, a L. A.M. B. Poncho, gorgeous online, when I received the package and opened it not only was it the wrong product but the packaging slip showed another person name and address. I was so disappointed and called immediately. I was told that they could not send me my original order but that they would try to contact the purchaser of the item that I received to see if they received my order. For the record, my item was priced 4x's higher, so really why would that person admit to having it, a free item for them. Anyway, I had to wait a couple of days, Hautelook did not contact me back so I called to get my refund to be told that I would have to send the item back that I received in error and only then would I receive a full refund on the item I did not received. What? 6 weeks later I got my $$ back. I cannot believe that for an error they clearly made that I was out my $100.00+ for that period of time. Since then I have continually received the wrong sizing on items, wrong colour and defective merchandise (twice). It is a pain to return, takes forever from start to finish and if there is a Holiday in between, add on two more weeks to receive your credit. When they say they refund, they give a credit instead. The ETA's are varied and I would stay away from utilizing this site for gift buying. Now I look but don't buy, very disappointed with this extension of Nordstrom, I expected so much more.

Terrible customer service. Ordered a jacket and received A blouse. I've sent THREE emails to customer service asking how to return the item with no response to any of them. Inconsistent with delivery charges. Won't be ordering anymore.

Great deals, but I have had errors in previous orders and it takes an appalling amount of time to ship to canada. For example, I ordered items on Nov 25; it is January 9, and according to the tracking they have sent me, they are somewhere in Alberta. I think this will be my last purchase.

Awful scam of a site. I ordered a Louie Vuitton bag and paid a lot of money for this bag through haute look. I thought it was going to be the real deal as they advertised. I got it in the mail yesterday and it is FAKE! The leather is fake and the bag is fake! This site is a scam and they put fake labels on items and sell them!

So sorry about this, had ordered from them & been satisfied until my last order. Ordered on Oct. 2, notified of shipping on Oct. 29 & my AmEx was charged. USPS has NEVER received the package. Electronic label still sitting in Fontana CA. I've emailed Hautelook several times & chatted twice-last time was Friday, Elizabeth said she'd contact me by the end of the day but didn't. So, still no answers. It's 4 bottles of nail polish, wanted them for Thanksgiving. They are losing a customer over less than $30 of mercandise.

I've been shopping on Hautelook for about a year. I got many good deals throughout and the delivery times and customer service was fine. Here or there I had a couple of issues regarding the shipping fee.
For example I would order an item below $100 and be charged the shipping fee. Couple of days later I'd place a larger amount order qualifying me for a free shipping. I started noticing that Hautelook often sent these orders in one package, which made me realize that I shouldn't be paying for the shipping fee and I confronted them about it. At 95% my complaint was heard and they reimbursed me. It's about the principle. Once I came across a unforthcoming agent who just couldnt see my point, but I just wouldnt let it go and I was reimbursed again, but she also told me not to count on this in future.
Well in October, I guess my "luck" run out. I've ordered some cooking dishes (for Thanksgiving) and the delivery was supposed to be shipped within 2-3 weeks from order date. They already had another event take place with the same items (some of the deals go in circles, till the inventory is sold out, I guess) and my order wasn't shipped. I had to cancel in the middle of December, as I got tired waiting and contacting their customer service.
Their customer service is either excellent or very bad. Many times I'd be waiting for their chat service for about 30-50 minutes, be in position nr. 1 and the service would disconnect and I am adviced to contact them by email or phone. It would take 2 cycles like these to be admitted for a chat. I usually then call them and put myself on a call back service. This always works, but be prepared to wait about an hour.
My very last experience that made me finally stop shopping there was a great deal on a designer handbag. I was between the first ones to purchase this item (I looked at some details and an hour later the last bag was still on hold). I recieved a shipping email about a different order, but looking at the order page a saw that the handbag was also part of this parcel being shipped. I was very happy and looking forward this purse. I even changed my UPS delivery to pick up in person at UPS location of choice. After ordering the box in the car there was no purse, the dress I ordered wasnt packed in protecting foil (as usually they are). The shipping box was way too small to even include a handbag, but guess what, the item was included on the invoice slipped in the box! I contacted Hautelook straightaway and the agent told me (after waiting on the phone for 25min) that the purse is no longer available. I have insisted to have the purse shipped to me, so finally she placed a re-ship request with their warehouse and promised to contact me about the outcome in about a week. I took many pictures and even sent a complaint email. A week later I still recieved no follow up. The next day I went on the chat, only to be 2x thrown out being at #1 spot, waiting for 2 h total, I gave it another go and I got through. Long story short, I got Hautelook to refund me the bag (as the agent suggested to follow up with her colleague and letting me know), because I had no intention waiting any longer for what I suspected was a caseless hope to recieve this item.

I would recommend this site 50/50, if you're lucky to grab a great deal and it gets delivered rejoice;-), but after my experiences I'm going to stay away as there is a good chance, that you'll be parted with your money for weeks or month(s) and at the end you'll never recieve the items due to overbooking. I was one of the lucky ones that refund was never an issue.

This site does have some great deals. The shipping can take forever. However on several occasions, I've received the wrong item. It's really frustrating since they do not have the one I ordered in stock. And a lot of these items involved me repeatedly checking for them to available. It's annoying to spend 30 minutes or so trying to order something and then to have something different arrive.

Received rancid tarte lipsticks and glosses, unable to return. Inconsistent sizing although they always state runs true to size. Delivery takes weeks. Will not order again.

I have ordered a few items from this website and have been pretty happy. I will say though that it is VERY annoying to pay 9 dollars to ship a 20 dollar item and then not have it arrive for a month! I do not understand why the shipping is so high... its not like its a rush delivery. Their shipping is one of the main reasons I so not buy more from this company.

The real issue I have is with the last order I places. I ordered a Dress for my high school reunion and I was so excited when it cam in the mail yesterday... until I opened it and it was a SHIRT! Same design same company but not a DRESS! I called customer service expecting them to send me the DRESS that I ordered without too much hassle but I guess that cant be done. They let me know that they have no control over that inventory and can not get me the item I ordered. They offered a return or 20% off the item I got. Truly I am not happy with either... the shirt is ugly and I want my dress. Not to mention now I have to drag it to the post office on my day off and ship it back! So annoyed they should have more control over what they sell.

I ordered a pair of shoes that I have wanted for a long time and they sent me the wrong ones! The worst part is they cannot send the correct ones because they sold out! Then I still have to return the wrong ones! I will not be back!
