I could give them zero or less stars. I took my Savannah Monitor (Roscoe) to them. After running a bill up in excess of 200.00 they told me there was nothing they could do, just to take him home and keep him comfortable. They are very difficult to work with when it comes to billing. If you cannot afford to pay their inflated rates, they will say they will work with you, but you can expect a threatening and nasty letter in the mail monthly. To make a long story short, I took Roscoe to Hewitt Animal Hospital for a second opinion, although the outcome was the same they kept Roscoe for a day and when I went to pay, they had not charged me a cent because they could not help. Hartsville Animal Hospital does not care about the animals, only the money. I will not be back. R. I. P Roscoe
