Bought a listed referb item for $175. They emailed me to let me know that they made a mistake and the price was actually $620.

The drive is $340 brand new from the manufacturer... When I called to ask about this they said... Well... Does it come with the 2 year warranty at that price? Uhhh it's the manufacturer... Yes. And second of all your website only says it has a 90 day warranty.

Told them to just cancel and refund me. And they said... I'll let my accounting know and hung up. They emailed me telling me they'd be cancelling. Apparently this has been happening with this company for a few months now based on other reviews. If I don't see that refund I'll dispute it with my CC company.

I wouldn't give this company your business.

I was in urgent need of cables, adapters, and other tech accessories of different models for my office. Whatever place I checked, the charges were baffling. Luckily, I stumbled upon Hard Disk Direct. Misleading pricing / inventory. Website says $97, but then a chat box interrupts the checkout price, says talk to a salesman. You hand over your phone number and email, the salesmans says it's actually $1100 with a month lead time. They're all lies, top to bottom.

I had to update a range of hardware equipment for software houses, but most companies quoted a high price. But luckily, I clicked on Hard Disk Direct, and not only do they have a bigger range of products, but they offer affordable rates. The order was delivered on time too, and I am more than pleased with them and certainly ordering from them in the future.

I hate to give a 1 star review to business I've never purchased from, but they quoted me $850 on a product that has an MSRP of $399 and is backordered everywhere including the manufacturer. Their website showed the product as in stock, but seriously, for more than double MSRP? If they really had it in stock, that's clearly price gouging. If they really do have them in stock, I can see why. No logical person would pay more than double what a product is worth. Something isn't right. I simply can't bring myself to trust a company that would do something like this, especially in today's economy.

Refused to fulfill order after taking over a week to verify my order (had to provide my property tax bill, phone number, and drivers license). After I completely verified myself Ryan from Harddiskdirect said they were refusing to fulfill the order and cancelled the order on me, it took 3 weeks to get a refund from them! Wouldn't trust them at all, especially not with any server equipment that is mission critical, they will leave you in a bad position.

The update below is also a lie. They cancelled my order, and never asked me to pay extra freight. They said they had the wrong price on the website and refused to fulfill the order. DO NOT TRUST THESE LIARS!

I have already changed my printer twice, but due to some reason, they never became my favorites in terms of performance. Although 3UK83A - HP Office Jet Pro 9010 All-in-One Printer from Hard Disk Direct is fantastic to work with. Nice place.

Hard Disk Direct is own and run by locals from Pakistan in Karachi named Salsoft Technologies, if you don't believe call and figure out with their accent they are selling counterfeit cisco products and have no control over inventory they buy from marketplaces like ebay and broken bin and blind dropship to USA. Better buy from company that own the inventory and has support staff in USA
