COVER UP EXPOSED | OWNER FLIES TRUE COLOURS | DISTURBING CONDUCT! INITIAL REVIEW 25 September 2019: Rang and emailed (via online form) Terri Florence the general manager at Harcourts Caloundra regarding a property for lease at Caloundra. We have excellent references and would have liked a 36 month lease. Received ZERO return phone or email. As such, I will be contacting the property owner and seeking to deal direct, as Harcourts Caloundra are obviously rude and useless. UPDATE 29 September 2019: Having found this bad review, Luke Carter owner of Harcourts Caloundra and as it turned out also the owner of the property for lease (60 Omrah Ave Caloundra), requested evidence of the contacts to Ms. Florence, as per his "Response from the owner" below. I did respond to the best of my ability bearing in mind that when the inquiries were made, I did not anticipate that evidence of these inquiries would be necessary. However I was able to provide a record of the 37 second message call to Ms. Florence, provided by my iinet telco. Ms. Florence emailed me and DENIED that any message had been left on her mobile phone, and she DID NOT EXPLAIN her non response to the online form that I had sent. Various correspondences were then exchanged between us, where Mr. Carter: Retracted his offer of previous assistance as per his "Response from the owner" below; Refused to do business with me; and Accused me of emailing the wrong business at Century 21 (totally untrue); and Accused me of being incompetent; and Accused me of being a fool; and Accused me of defamation; and Accused me of extortion; and Ignoring that truth of what I was complaining about; and Threatened to engage his legal team to address this matter. I then received a letter from Mr. Carter's lawyer to try and scare me off. I posted my complaint on the Harcourt's Facebook Review Page page. Mr. Carter then published below this complaint, stating that I had numerous bankruptcy claims against me and that I was a fraud (ACTIONABLE DEFAMATION), all of which is a lie along with further inaccurate diatribe. I was able to delete these lies from my posting, causing me to send a Cease & Desist letter to Mr. Carter's lawyer to stop defaming me. ALL of the reviews on the Facebook page have since been deleted by Harcourts and a review facility is no longer offered. THE MAIN ISSUES FOR ME ARE: Not so much the ZERO response to my inquiries, but the attempt to COVER UP the fact that I had made the inquiries; AND the baseless Carter allegations above; AND at 8.13pm on 26 September 2019, Mr. Carter flew his true colours by emailing this disturbing message to me: "You are a pathetic individual and a bankrupt fool. You have nothing to offer the world other than your aggression and irrational argument you will die a lonely man. That itself is incredible satisfaction". IMAGINE having this raving lunatic as your landlord! This complaint has been forwarded to Harcourt's Head Office and I am awaiting a response.
