“Great way to shop”

I love to bid on this site because it is fun. I won several items and the shipping is fast and reliable. They also cater to new users with their rookie auctions which have less competition.

Canada, Be aware. When I win, they said first it Out of stock, and somme same piece was still in bid and for sale. After I said that to them, they sent me this email: Support (HappyBidDay.com) Feb 21,1:38 PM EST Marcel, We are sorry for any confusion this substitution process has caused. The product is not offered in Canada. No reputable vendor will ship the product across the Canadian border.

YOUR AUCTION IS NOT FAIR. SCAM. I WILL ADVISE AS MANY AS I CAN. CANCEL AUCTIONS, JUDGING BIDDERS BY PUTTING THEM INTO 2 GROUPS. DO YOU CONTROL WHO WINS THE AUCTION ALSO,,, HUMMMM BEWARE BIDDERS. DON'T JOIN. ONLY 3 DAY'S TO GET YOUR BIDS BACK, OTHERWISE TOUGH LUCK, NOT A TRUE AUCTION BY ALL MEANS. A BIG THUMBS DOWN FOR HAPPYBIDDAY. PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS TO WARN THEM.

Undoubtedly one of my worst online experiences. Even if you win an auction... you lose big time. I managed to win an auction for an amazon fire stick... after a few days I get an email telling me they don't have any. Can we send you an amazon gift card instead? The thing is I had not only already spent more than the new cost of an amazon fire stick, but also paid over $20.00 for shipping & handling ect. That was enough for me... to close my account! I will never visit another online auction site of any kind, and I most definitely will not buy anything from amazon ever.!

Everything emmanuel says sums up my experience exactly, matter of fact, I have bid against the same person! And never ever win, while I HAVE bid on stuff at quibids and HAVE won items on that site. This site is a joke! I have lost so much money and all I have to show for it is a couple of small gift cards which I completely overpaid for.

I think 95% of the reviews here are all made up by an employee, none of these people are real they are all photo's stolen from the internet, I saw two friend's pictures up here that had no idea what HappyBidDay was...

I have bid on other auction sites some good some not. But at happy bid day it is a scam.
The auction has limits on what you can win but do not enforce equally.the bigger auctions are color coded. This should insure everyone have a chance at the top auctions. It is jan 8th and the same bidder (vaporizer) has won three top auctions and is now bidding on the fourth even though the limit is two a month for everyone else. I have emailed the auction repeatedly with either no answer or non relevant answers. I do agree with another review i read the larger prize auctions run for days take thousands of bids and at the end of it all amazingly the same bidder wins most or all of the big prizes.

Tip for consumers:
watch big auctions for repeat winners

I just signed up for the 59.95 package of bids. First time bidder. I've never lost 59.95 so fast in my life.Won nothing. I can't afford this site. They know how to take your money from you fast. I went on this site to save money. Who's the fool now? Me! Going away and never coming back empty handed.

Tip for consumers:
Don't let these people walk away with your hard earned money. They conned me out of 59.95 really quick and I got nothing.

This is the only bid site you can find the bidder keep going 48-96 hours non stop just for one item. Also they keep going almost to the item retail price or more then the retail price which is really funny. Strongly recommend for Canadian not to go for this site as you have to pay a huge amount for shipping.

The bid button keeps turning green and does not place bid costing me a swiss gold bar for 1.98? Hackers or is the site rigged?

HappyBidday only wants you to buy more bids. You will win the first three of low end products. And then they have you hooked. After that the website hopes you do not notice the names of bidders... always the same bidding on a product, in a world the has billions of people. Take advantage of the 25 free bids and starter auctions, but after that close you're account.

I stay away from any site whose "terms and conditions" and "privacy policy" links don't work. Sounds like a scam to me. Especially when the true Overstock auctions site recently closed. I hope someone (FTC/FBI/AG's Office) will look into this one soon.

BEYOND HORRIBLE---WORST BID SITE EVER
Aweful customer service, stupid restrictions, total waste of money. Their free bids are only given as a scam for you to "WIN" happy auctions but you have to pay for alot of $ for the "set price win" they set the minimum at like $75.
Then if you win more than one bid a day your blocked and lose all of your current bids you have out their on auctions that you may have one, The customer service is probably the worst I have ever dealt with and rude. They do not refund, gaurantee crap no matter what the site says. I asked for a refund on a Bid package I bought because of the limitations of the site and I wasnt happy, had more than triple the amount of paid bids, they wouldnt do it, said that they were not the "exact bids" even through it was not even 24 hrs later, spent of $200 because I "Won" a bid transaction too. Even told them they could take double the amount but please refund me the $$$ they wouldnt.
Items suck, customer service horrible, stupid rules, total lies about refunds and I am disputing all transactions with my bank.
DO NOT USE

Hey, I give you free bids just to take your money... am I a bad guy? I don't answer emails and the phone number never gets answered. Does that make me a bad guy? I need to pay the rent and feed my addictions too. Oh... Aunt Edna needs meds so I have to deal with that. If you can't tell... I'm being sarcastic about this site. I used it and they did rip me off. I have proof with screen shots and video. Once I told these people that I was watching the same names winning everything... they closed my account without warning. Nice way to make a living... just take money and close accounts that see what you are doing.

Signed up today with the small bid package thought I was getting special unlimited bids until you win your first auction,,, turns out that one and ONLY package doesn't get the "bottomless Bid" special (read fine print)... so I contacted support. They said "we understand your frustration" but too bad (would have gladly paid the difference to the next package). I told them this was a scam and deceitful and would report them to BBB. Support then told me I was dishonest, refunded my money and banned me from the site... UnhappyBidDay

HappyBidDay R. – HappyBidDay Rep

Hi Waid,

We're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with HappyBidDay. I took the time to review your correspondence with our Customer Support Representative in regard to the situation you have explained in your review. As it was explained to you, the bid package you purchased did not include the Bottomless Bids Guarantee as this bid package did not contain the icon specified at the top of the page. We specifically avoid any fine print to prevent this confusion during the time of purchase. Also, a message was displayed to you prior to check out confirming your purchase for a bid package which did not contain the Guarantee which allowed you the option to alter your selection for a different bid package which you chose not to do. In your messages, you repeatedly accused our company of being a scam, which it is not. In an effort to rectify the situation since you expressed your extreme unhappiness with your purchase, we agreed to refund you your bid pack purchase. At this time, you were removed from our website due to your unrelenting false accusations. If you have any further questions, you can contact us at support@happybidday.com.

HAPPY BIDDAY is a fraud! I have checked out many of the penny auction sites and the best one is DealDash.com. I've won more prizes than I have spent on DealDash. On the other hand, I have spent 1300 bids and have not won anything. I got so used to the bidders that I started to keep track to see if anyone was bidding more than the value of the prize. There is an auction for a 1 pz silver bar. One ounce silver is worth $21.63 on Nov 4,2013. The auction is for 1 oz silver and 50 bids. Bids can be bought for as cheap as 5 cents each. Silve ($21.68 spot price and $2.50 value of bids = $24.18). Right off the bat, Happy Bidday values this auction at $74.99 when it's true value is only worth@24.18. That's 3 times the value of the true value. Bidder steveo44 made over 1500 bids. The bids at 5 cents each is worth $75. At some point steveo44 wins the auction and not only has he spent $75 in bids but he has to pay for the prize and it was at $31.58. This means he paid over $106 for a prize worth only $24.18. Steveo44 is a bidder that's a made up bidder Happy Bidday is making up to sucker other bidders in to bid on a prize package that's worth less than 1/3 of the value Happy Bidday says it's worth. Happy Bidday is such a fraud! Save your money and go to silvertowne.com to buy your silver bars and rounds.

The auctions NEVER end,,, the only thing you can win is BIDS, that you USE up trying towin something,, OH! I if you win a BID PACK, you have to pay SHIPPING, like the bids are shipped to you, ONLY JOIN if you have 5 to 6 hours to spend on a bet. The bets last LONGER than 3 hours.

Don't trust these sites. They are all scams. You pay money to bid even if you don't win the item. The website tells you others are bidding, and that someone else won, but you really don't know. I lost money off of one of these sites. Don't trust them.

I loved quibids so much I thought I would give this one a try. Don't waste your time on it. They give good discount for bid packs and have good opportunities to get free bid packs, but that's what makes it bad because everyone has so many bids at all times and it takes forever for an auction to get over. That's the only case they would have so many going at once is because they never end. They add bids into the prizes so they canaje it a higher retail. Value and peak interest and that's crap. The worst thing is that they have a cap on most items so people won't ever stop bidding and the item can look like a good deal. That's not how penny auctions work. This site is just terrible. And that's putting it lightly.

HappyBidDay.com is linked to BidCactus.com and Retailbidday.com. Penny Auction fraud.

So I fell for the Craigslist thing too, and got routed through several emails to the same message: "Hello Someone just purchased, but I can tell you where I got it from." Guess which site they directed me to? Any danger if I haven't bid on the site?

BTW, other names in the email tree, Tiha Anderson at *******@gmail.com, the infamous Diana Cyrus (or Jean Paul Centore) at *******@yahoo.com, pala at *******@gmail.com, and the original CL email, *******@gmail.com.

Ok... I was not born yesterday... I went to register and all I see are simulation bids and and an egregious bid package starting at. 54 a bid! You've got to be kidding me! Someone is rolling in the dough from this brilliant scheme but I'm sorry, I don't pay for promises without anything to legitimately back up the marketing hype and what seems to be "too good to be true" inflated double speak... I will be passing on this site... you should consider a free 24 hour preview to allow people to observe the site before forcing a purchase of bid packages... anyone that buys into this under the current terms should have their heads examined... or you have a lot more money than sense... PT Barnum lives... sad...
