I have seen people on Facebook say that Halloween Express is a scam company. I'm sure they have never purchased from them or they would have known better. I have ordered from this company before and have always had good service. This year I placed an order for an $80 animatronic on 8/20, received an email on 8/21 saying it was shipped and would arrive on 8/22. It did and it worked great
I ordered a Darth Vader mask and it was set for delivery. Then 2 days later they sent an email they don't have it in stock SORRY... No one should ever order from here If their inventory system is so bad that they can't tell if an item is in stock when you order it, and their customer service is the worst. When I was talking to a customer service rep. She didn't care or listen to me. I should have looked at their overall ratings before ordering they are a ( 1) not surprised. DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM HERE.
Store smelled of mold and mildew, floor is uneven, building was freezing cold, was denied MANDATED breaks during long hours (6-9 hour shifts) and almost never got my lunch break, or any breaks at all... was frequently yelled at fro leaving my station to use the bathroom, (among other things.) When my uncle passed away I was not allowed to leave to attend to family matters after the news and was expected to be there the day of his wake. All of this on top of being a part time student, but no, The Manager didn't give two $#*!s, she ignored the fact I have college course work to complete was two faced and made sure I was never trained in anywhere else than folding costumes/fitting room. Costumes are low quality items you can buy on amazon for cheaper. 10/10 would not recommend as a job for ANYONE.
Not worth any more than $20.00. Had to wrap her hands in gauze to cover the wires. Had to hot glue the top of her dress to her neck to cover the screws. I would not recommend this to anyone. I would have preferred that her eyes just lit up without the conversation.
The quality of the costume I got was terrible. And being an international buyer it was hard for me to return it. I would never buy again from Halloween Express. I had to buy another costume in my country that was cheaper and had better quality. I don’t understand how can the charge $45 dollars for something that is worth like 5 dollars, plus the shipping to my country. Not recommended at all.
I was gonna be the corpse bride this year. Browsed many costume online stores, finally I got this one. But I was so disappointed rather than surprised. My costume arrived 8 days after I placed my order. That was nice. However, the costume was far different from the one I want and the one in the cartoon. The wig was so fake. I don't even wanna use it. I should have get a casual white wedding dress from Persundresses.com. That was my former plan. But I am kinda on a budget, so I finally decided to get it from a costume store. This costed me $71.97. If I had known that, I would rather get the dress and draw it myself. I could do better than them. And the dress is just a little bit over $100 too. Warnings that everyone don't buy from them. They never offer a full refund even with tags. :(
Beware of false promises! I ordered two costumes from them with a promised delivery date of Friday, When I receive my tracking info it said Monday. The only reason I ordered from here is due to the promised delivery. When I contacted them they did say they would issue a shipping credit, a voucher to their store, really? Anyway, I feel very mislead and will contact the bbb to see about their false advertising
