Great website for costumes! The costumes arrived very fast to Israel (1 week!). Costume are unique and with high quality. Also, customer services is great! They have online chat and are very responsive. I got one of the costumes with a shirt too small for my child. They checked and indeed it is small. They offered replacement or refund. I already arderrd another costumes which are on the way 😃

This place messed up my costume order and sent the incorrect costume in October 2023. When they finally sent me the corrected order, I sent the incorrect order I received back. This month I was harassed by emails for 3 days by Jeanette W. These customer service reps need proper training. I asked multiple times for her to stop emailing me and so what she had to do. I finally had to be rude and block her. Please do not shop here.

Size too BIG! I got the one that was 3 inches smaller than my chest and it was very big on me. Plus the zipper would not go up or down. Very disappointed after spending $80.

Tip for consumers:
Buy a size or two down. Too big!

So I bought a costume that was the typical overpriced so so quality costume you expect off these sites now days. It was too big and I ordered it really early so, although I could have gotten away with wearing it I figured I had time and returns were sopposed to be straight forward. I was refunded after purchasing a second costume (cause you have to basically reorder it) and then found out my refund was $30 short due to some lame restocking fee off 18%%
Last time I ever order from these rip off artists.

I ordered an Abominable Snowman (Bumble) suit for Halloween and when I got it, it was NOT white! It was a noticeable light blue! That's not what it showed on the site, and the description did not say it was light blue, nor did it say it was not white. Who has ever seen a light blue snowman? I also ordered some light blue gloves because Bumble has blue hands, but the gloves would not stay on! They slipped off very easily, and I have large hands. I called Customer Service and the nice lady said I could return both items as defective, and I would be reimbursed the FULL amount I paid, including refunding the S/H, sales tax, and that I would NOT be charged a RESTOCK FEE (she checked with someone on that). I returned the items but when I got my VISA Statement I was not refunded the S/H and I was NOT refunded the sales tax I paid. How can this company keep WA State Sales Tax when there was no net purchase? Also, when I called back and spoke with a Manager, he refused to refund the remaining amount, saying they were going to keep my tax paid and SH as part of a restocking fee. I will be reporting this to the WA Dept. of Revenue, etc.

Tip for consumers:
BEWARE! Do NOT expect good service if the item you get is not as seen on their site, or is otherwise defective. Any company that would fraudulently keep Sales Tax paid on a return is shady, IMHO.

I purchased two costumes on the same order, both the same size, on 10/20/11 and received them on 10/25/11. One of the costumes fit perfectly but the other was very small in the bust-line. I contacted customer service 10/26/11 and was told by Tabitha that since I purchased the costumes between 10/10 and 11/1, I could not return for a refund, only an exchange. I explained that I bought two from them and I'm keeping the one that fits (so essentially, I already have the replacement costume from their company) but she stated that it didn't matter, no refund. I then chatted with the manager Tyler and received the same response. The costumes, for the value, were fine and I liked them but I bought two (just in case) because I had heard that sometimes sizing runs small and I was keeping one. The ridiculous notion that they refuse to refund because it's their "busiest time of the year" is a pathetic excuse. Up until this "no refund" issue came up, I was very happy with the product and service... what a shameful way to ruin a customer relationship.

I was sent the wrong-sized Freddy Kruger hat, these things happen, but I was sent the wrong size because they had no standard sizes left. Therefore I paid more in postage to receive an item that is totally useless to me. I sent an email only to receive a useless auto-email back which states at the end if not helpful use chat. The company wanted me to pay for postage to return the item that I didn't order (the original postage cost more than the hat!) HalloweenCostumes charged me postage to send me the wrong item, then wanted me to pay for postage to send it back, then pay postage again to order another hat all because they stuffed up and they wonder why I'm not impressed.

I bought a plague doctor costume and measured it for a long time and when it came it was way to small so just orde it a few sizes bigger next time

Ordered a 4T costume- it fits very small like a 2-3T. Size up! I ordered this costume October 5 and it arrived October 31 midday. I had to purchase another costume as it was unreliable to count on halloweencostumes.ca having their costumes arrive on time. When speaking to the chat, they refuse to be helpful. A ridiculous restocking fee of 18%. Will not be purchasing another costume from here. It's too overpriced anyways.

I ordered the Beetlejuice blazer, which is absolutely amazing and mostly excellent quality. The one I received however, had a pink stain on it as soon as I received it. I started a return for it, and the CS rep I was working with through the chat function of their site was very helpful, Jessica B. She helped me through the entire return process, which at first seemed pretty painless. It's no Amazon return, and I had never bought anything from this site before, but initially it went well. Until the end - I paid for priority shipping to receive the blazer initially. In my opinion since I received a damaged product, I should have been able to do a straight across even exchange and not have been out any addtional money. That however, was not the case. After spending well over an hour in a chat box with this woman, she informed me she could not credit the shipping and that I would have to call the customer service line. I do not have any more time to waste on this, so I am leaving my experience to hopefully deter others from buying from this site and experiencing the same frustrations I am currently dealing with.

I paid over $100 for a tinker bell costume and it came with a dress and two wings, that I'm not even able to wear. The wings came folded over in the package and who knows how long they've been in there, they didn't unfold, even after having them stretched out for 2 weeks. So I basically paid $100 for a little skimpy green dress. Not worth your money AT ALL.

I had a raggedy Ann costume picked out and in my cart since the beginning of September. The price went up. It is now $50. I might as well buy a more detailed quality costume from Etsy with that price.
