STAY AWAY!

I wish I read these reviews prior to ordering through this site. The whole transaction was shady from the start. When I placed my order, I did not get a confirmation of any kind. Not even a screen that popped up saying, "thanks for ordering " or a confirmation number or anything. I checked my bank account and sure enough, it debited right away! I contacted the company and they emailed me a day later with a tracking number and assuring me everything was ok. So I waited, and waited... and waited. It took a month for them to get to me. From China. The package was extremely small and weighed nothing which gave me the immediate, "oh great" feeling. I opening the package and immediately noticed that the hair was three or four shades darker than I ordered. I ordered a light brown and these were almost black! I thought, ok well maybe I'll just make a bigger change and dye my own hair to match them. So I took the extensions out to get a better idea of the color and noticed the quality of the hair. It is TERRIBLE. I literally couldn't do anything with just one set since they are so thin. My hair is thin already so getting extensions on the thinner side is usually no big deal but these would make me look like a chemo patient with my hair falling out. I emailed them before writing this review in hopes that they would refund my money. After going back and forth for 30 minutes with Ci Ci (who appears to be Chinese and not the white girl pictured in the chat box) she told me I can return them for an exchange. I, of course, will be responsible for shipping. At this point I either have extensions laying around I won't touch or I can try seeing if they will actually get me the right color. If they manage to mail me back the right color, I can at least use them to add to another set of extensions I will buy somewhere else. But it will likely take months to find out and the cost of shipping. If they pull through, I'll follow up on my review.
Ladies, do not buy from this company. They are taking advantage of us girls that just want to feel a little prettier with some new hair. I highly recommend going to Sally Beauty Supply and getting your extensions there. I've NEVER found a better, high quality weave. The only downfall is that they are spendy. But they last a long time and are definitely REAL.

These people are a joke!

I'm not even sure if this is an actual company. Their website says that they are based out of Canada, only to find out later that their "warehouse" is in China. The only way to contact these people is by "Online Chat" and email; they do not answer the phone. I am posting this review MONTHS after my nightmare encounter with these thieves.

I spent days looking for the right extensions; price, color, texture, length, weight, amount of clips. Everything. Settled on hairextensionbuy.com, placed my order. THEN I decided to check reviews. OMG. As you can assume, I instantly went into panic mode. Called and called and called. No response. Sent 2 emails. No response. (This is all in a matter of less than 24 hours). Decided to try Online Chat. "Lincoln" told me that my order had not been processed yet, therefore I could not cancel. Then he told me that he didn't have the authority to cancel. Then he told me it was against policy to cancel over the "Online Chat" and I needed to call customer service. I begged and I pleaded for a refund, he stuck to his lies and refused. Needless to say, I am furious now. Tried again the next morning via Online Chat (only way to get any contact with these people); same guy "Lincoln" told me the order had already been shipped and I couldn't cancel. WHAT?! I would have to receive the package, send it back in order to receive a 70% refund regardless whether the package was opened or not. HELL NO.

I sent yet another email with no response. So, I called the bank and filed the dispute. I kid you not, less than 3 hours later, I got a phone call. They told me that I had to cancel the dispute so the bank would unfreeze the funds so they could be refunded (As some may know, once you cancel a dispute you cant refile the dispute). Keep in mind, at this point I have been obsessively reading nightmarish reviews about these people and MANY of the reviews are that the customers canceled their disputes after being promised a full refund and not receiving the refund. By then it's too late! They cant refile a dispute so that money is gone forever! So, I refused to cancel until I saw the refunded funds back in my account. They lady started yelling at me! I hung up.

Then the emails started pouring in (unprofessional, horrible grammar and even worse spelling). They kept promising full refunds once I canceled the dispute and I kept refusing, making sure to put into writing my experience and "Lincolns" refusal to cancel my order. Then I received the delivery confirmation, so I went to the mail box eager to see the despicable hair I had received. Mail box is empty. THESE PEOPLE GAVE ME A FALSE TRACKING NUMBER! Are you serious?!

Weeks passed, the emails and phone calls started to become more and more spaced out. Then eventually stopped. I was refunded my money (by force of the bank) and have since then decided that unless I'm willing to spend $300-$500 on brand name extensions, I should buy these in a store.
