When JCrew quit having their fabulous sales about a year ago, Gymboree ended up with almost 90% of my business. I buy for my niece's & nephews. Their clothes are beautifully made & sale prices rock. There's lots of "free shipping" days as well. To all that have had cust. Srvc. Issues I feel your pain, but I've never had to contact them!
The package has never arrived. I contacted their customer service, was told to contact my financial institution. Cute clothes but still not worth the headache dealing with my bank during dispute process.
I had made a purchase online in mid November and had to return part of it…we don't have a Gymboree in our state, so I returned it to the Chidrens Place.that was December 5th and I have never received the reimbursement for the return.they have lied to me and now it is December 29 and I am told I have to wait another 3-5 days! I will probably never buy from this company and I would advise anyone to be careful with returns from them…they are liars!

I was excited when Gymboree announced their return. I loved the colors and designs of the previous Gymboree line. I am shocked at the poor quality of cloth used in the new line. Three of the dresses I ordered for my granddaughters appear to be made of inexpensive cotton sheet material. The fourth dress, a knit, hangs poorly. Also, the dresses are simply poorly cut. I am so disappointed.
My credit card was charged with additional rush delivery fee but the items were not delivered. Called customer service but they said they can't help! Stay away and save your time and money.
I have been a gymboree fan for 10 years... but this is not the first time they messed up. Paid $20 to arrive by today according to their promise, but it missed the plane and is now arriving on Mon.
I placed an order 10 days ago. The money has pulled from my bank account but no sign of my order. It hasn't shipped or even been packaged to ship. You can't get in contact with this company by phone or email. I have tried everything to just find out where my package is. I'm frustrated and angry as I was a very loyal customer.
I ordered items Nov 7th still not here called several times to have them help me find my package... told me inhad to contact the transport company would not even give me the number until I talked to a manager... transport company lost my package after I received an email from them stating they had lost it gymboree still would not do anything about it until over a week later... when I finally was able to get gymboree to help me they customer service wouldn't help me reorder to lazy... I finally said i would take care of it myself just give my money back!

I wish I too had seen these reviews before ordering online-that explains the great deals and free shipping. I ordered a few items for my daughters birthday (two weeks ahead) and unfortunately deliver is scheduled for two days after her bday. Ridiculous. Ill definitely shop retail store or go elsewhere in the future. The quality of Gymboree (especially outlets) has declined. Polo, Justice here I come.
WARNING: My wife followed the link of gymboree.com Canda and shopped there. Well, there is no gymboree canada online as you will always get redirected to the US site. So she shopped and told me the amount thinking it was in Canadian. I found out that it was USD when it got charged to my credit card. The sad part was when it arrived at Canada Post and I went to pick it up. Of the $148, I had to pay an extra cash or debit in the amount of $41 for duties. My wife was not aware of any disclosure from gymboree about the duties.
Cannot review the product JUST the shipping. Purchased on Nov 29... shipped Dec 14. Now it is Dec 26 and the shipment is MIA
Why so long to put in the mail?
This was my go to store when my children were small now that I have grandchildren I thought the tradition would continue... NOPE
I made an order but didn't get any confirmation email. Also there are some mystery problems with my gymboree.com account - I can neither enter it nor restore password. Customer service is dead (I've been on the line ~50 minutes with no result, noone answers my emails). Will wait another week for my order delivery and then will cancel transaction via bank.

I agree with another customer - if I was able to give them 0 stars I would have. WORST online experience ever. I ordered from Canada - seemingly from the Canadian site. I wasn't told it would be IN $USD. There was also a $55 charge for shipping (when it was noted as free shipping). The 7 day shipping took about a month. And the tracking code led to... nothing. No way to track ever. And no customer service rep would return an email. RUN don't walk. They are a disaster.
I'm very angry even more at my self because after my previous experience with them I unsubscribed but I kept getting emails. Unfortunately I bought stuff online again and I'm yet to receive it, I've been charged, I can't track my order, the stupid customer service line is not available on Saturday,... why the heck does their website say they are available Saturdays? This company should be locked - after they refund me of course... very very sad.
HOLY F&*^! Literally the WORST customer service EVER. I had an issue with a damaged gift card and I've been on the phone with them for 2 days trying to get it resolved. The people at the call center are the absolute worst and don't know what the hell they are doing. All they do is put you on hold a million times and argue with you. Screw this place.
If I could give them lower than 1 star, I would. I ordered from them over three weeks ago. PAID. But NOTHING. The order hasn't even shipped. I understand they're going out of business, but seriously. THIS IS WHY. Where the heck is my package? If you're not going to ship it, and LEAST give me my $100 back. This company deserves to be out of business.
Horrible customer service! Nearly 3 hours on the phone to TRY to get an order resolved. Gymboree is quick to process an online order and bill me but ships incomplete orders or doesn't process them at all. Shameful! Take your business elsewhere!
Gymboree should be ashamed of themselves. Terrible customer service. No option to speak to a manager. You're not able to cancel an order an hour after it's made because apparently it's gone to the warehouse. I feel so ripped off. I'm going to report them to Paypal for any good it will do. Stay away from this company.
I have making six purchases all that is over chart and some of them is over chart, 100% I called them find out what the problem is they not cooperate the customer service is suck taking 3 day Tuesday was a problem finally I find out what the problem is a lot of those item I did not order they throw them in and they charged me anyway and I tell them to cancel all those older and they say no and they have to investigate and all that kind of stuff be careful what you ordered gymboree.com
I am very disappointed with Gymboree Online! I ordered a dress and an accessory for my little girl last December 5,2017 and these are suppose to be for her Christmas gift. But, until now I have not receive it yet... I just ruined her Christmas... This is the worst place to order online and you bet this is last time I will order anything online from Gymboree... Too bad you already lost a client! :( :( :(
I must say that I like their cloths however, the experience I had to purchase online was really frustrating! I had to return few items and they never credited me back on the full amount and I have been chasing them for months now. Their online customer service is not organized and not professional (unlike other brands I have purchased).
I will only buy from their stores Never online!
Let me tell you that the Gymboree website its a total DISASTER, I have never been more disappointed at this company like what I am now. I don't understand what's the point of announcing sales that clients can't get, since I'd been trying to purchase clothes for my kids for over two weeks! Every time I add items to my bag, and every time they disappear from my bag! I'm aware that I'm not the only one with this problem because I went to the store and other two ladies were complaining about it too! What an awful service online a complete waist of time to even look at anything on your Gymboree website!
It's been three days since my order and I haven't received the gymbucks that the agent promised me from the back office. I called in today to inquire about it and the agent was not helpful at all, took 20 min of me repeatedly explaining my situation and at the end of it she goes "Are you ready to place your order?" ARE YOU F* KIDDING ME?! Finally I was promised again that I will receive my gymbucks after wasting so much time. Will give this business zero star if possible.
My package was missing and I called them and emailed them more than 5 times.
But I still need to call USPS for tracking my package or call my bank for dispute the transaction.
The customer service totally only followed the ridiculous scripted sentences, and does not help to solve the issue.

I am trying to talk to somebody in headquarters.
On March 17th I placed an order online during their last weekend for online orders. My banking account showed that there was a pending charge from Gymboree. Couple days later, I noticed that I haven't received a shipping notification. So I looked at my banking account and noticed that the charge was gone. I looked at the Gymboree order online, and it said order processing. So I decided to wait a few days. No changes, nothing. So I tried calling their customer service number. That number gave me a long automated message and then proceeded to tell me to call a different number for customer service. I called that other number and guess what, they said to call the other number that I just tried previously. You cannot email them, you cannot call them and apparently the only way to contact them is through a lawyer. So again I waited a couple more days. My husband advised me to contact my bank to have them cancel the charge if it posted. 2 days ago the charge posted on my bank account. Seeing that I still have not received any kind of shipping notification, I called my bank today to have this charge canceled. Unfortunately, it has already posted and gone through and now I would have to file a merchandise complaint. This could take 60 to 90 days to resolve. So I'm going to be even more patient then I should be, and we'll wait another five days for a shipping notification. If I don't get one, I will not only contact the bank but I will be contacting a lawyer. This is very fraudulent activity and extremely disappointing considering Gymboree is going out of business.
Same experience as others from Canada. Hope I had read these reviews earlier. The currency doesn't show as USD until you have paid. The custom duties are not mentioned anywhere. Moreover they ship via DHL until Canadian border and then move over to Canada Post which also charged extra $10 for the same!
Absolute crap. Never buying anything from Gymboree!
