GLORIOUS GRUBHUB!

With ALL of the Covid-19 panic & stress, I was so thrilled that GrubHub was NOW delivering to me... ALL the WAY OUT in Sanger, TX!
I had never before been able to get ANY food, EXCEPT pizza, delivered to my home. However, last week, I figured with the pandemic, I would just CHECK to see IF my favorite sandwich shop, Jersey Mike's, OR ANY of the delivery services. Were yet at the point of delivering to me yet.
Jersey Mike's advised me, via phone, that the only way to confirm whether I COULD ACTUALLY have food delivered... was to attempt it online. Long story short. Out of ALL the services. I checked with, ONLY ONE... was able to do it! So. Grubhub was the one!
Once I ordered through them. And requested my FAVORITE sandwich, The Stickball, from Jersey Mike's. I WAITED!
I ACTUALLY got SSOO EXCITED. When that WONDERFUL brown bag... with the ICONIC Jersey Mike's logo on it... I took a deep breath, closed my eyes,. And smiled. I Then tipped my driver 40%AND THOROUGHLY ripped open the bag. And proceeded to eat the BEST SANDWICH
EVER! I then texted all of my neighbors. And told them bout it. Several of them got online and started ordering right away!
So, THANK YOU SOO MUCH GRUBHUB!
The service was fast. Less than 45 min! The drivers
WERE AMAZING! YES... darn it. I ordered from GrubHub TWICE... in LESS than a week!

Ordered from this Taco Bell through grub hub and requested no contact delivery, due to chemo I have a weakened immune system so this option for me is so appreciated. Tonight however my order from this Taco Bell was missing the Tacos I had ordered for myself. Thankfully my daughters food order was in the bag, but her burrito was missing ingredients. The bag given to us by grub hub was not sealed like the website said it would be with no napkins. When I called the manager she offered no solution other then I drive there and go in to get my order. We'll I can't drive because of my medical condition so that didn't help. She said I needed to contact grub hub which was equally unhelpful. If your order is not complete when they bring it, not only will they not bring those items they will recharge the delivery fee. Got my tacos from Tio Juan's tonight. Great customer services and way better tacos for the same price. Won't to go back to Taco Bell and just switch to door dash.

I used Grubhub for the first time trying to support a local business. I placed my order and received confirmation from GH that my order was being processed and would be available for pick up at the designated time. When I arrived at the designated time, the business was closed. Yet I was still charged. Had to jump through hoops to contact some and request a refund... which will take 3-5 days.

Worst

Worst experience ever places the preview aren't open but they accept payments never use again did the call me back say they can't deliver because their closed will never use this app again

I ordered from panda and panda got my order wrong. I'm unable to go to panda myself because of this virus going on right now, so I contacted grub hub for a refund & they only gave me a partial refund even though my whole order was wrong. The customer service rep was very insensitive of the situation and kept rushing off the chat! I feel very frustrated with this company.

Not great

Our experience with grub hub was not great. The order arrived 30 minutes late. After the driver left we realized that half our order was missing. We called and they said they could not give us our food and only give us credit. We ended up not having enough food and very disappointed.

I ordered from a place and 30 mins after delivery time I was informed my order was cancelled. I ordered from a second place and at delivery time my order was again cancelled. It was my first time ordering either their app and it will be my last as well. What a pathetic company

Wrongly charged

I got charged for signing up Grubhub+ membership, which is supposed to be free for the first two weeks. When I called the customer service, they told me two weeks is included within the membership so that I won't cancel after the trial period. I say its fraud by misdirecting the customer.

Never got my food
April 4, 2020

First I never received my order after it being 2 1/2 hours late from the time they said it should have been delivered. Then when I messaged the driver to find out where it was they told me they had already delivered it to another address and to contact customer support. Being on quarantine and it now being 9pm, we have no food for dinner and all places are closed. First order and they already failed. Would suggest they actually take a look at their drivers and their rapport because they obviously have had this complaint before.

Terrible

My experience was terrible. I never really order from them but I did because the carona virus. So I place my order and I wait. About 30 min later I check the tracker on grub hub and it says that they didn't even pick it up yet. I get a text saying the delivery time would be pushed back about 20 min so I can the restaurant. They informed me they were on the line with grub hub customer service cause no one ever came for my food (that didn't take long to make at all). They tell me they never sent a driver and the restaurant was closing. They offered to hand deliver my food for me so they could also go home since they were closing in 15 min and grub hub wasn't even coming. So I agree and pay again by phone to them and then call grub hub to complain and cancel my order. I tell them they never sent a driver for an hour at that point to get the food and that the restaurant was closing. They didn't even believe me, put me on hold to call for themselves, and then apologized. Told me it would prob take a few days for me refund. My order was 32 dollars, I had to repay my already made food of 20. And on top of that when I found out my order for the exact same food was 23 before any taxes delivery fees or driver tip for grub hub, the restaurant only charged me 19 and change. I was over paying them for the exact same food. And I got terrible service. When I told them I was very disappointed that it would take the money that long they offered my 5 dollars for my next grub hub order. 5 dollars... for the next time. Never again. Grub hub sucks.

Being under shelter in place orders and being tired as hell from a long hospital shift, we placed a $50 order for Thai food. Driver was shown being in the wrong place at the time our order was supposed to be delivered, then marked it as delivered 15 minutes into the future. We called GrubHub, then called the driver (who was supposed to be a woman, but a man answered) - driver said that he was "waiting in a long line outside and it's a mess, blah blah blah..." basically BS. We waited another 20 minutes, called restaurant and found out that our order was indeed given to the driver more than an hour previously. Called GrubHub, explained what happened and that the driver probably stole our food. We are supposedly getting a refund, but I'm contacting my bank just to be sure. I WILL NEVER EVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN. WHAT GALL TO TAKE OUR FOOD AFTER I PROBABLY SAVED SOMEONE YOU KNOW AT THE HOSPITAL!

Do not use this service. Delivery person said they delivered the food to our door and they did not. We had to cancel and have the restaurant remake it and we had to go pick it up. Grub hub didn't even care. Horrible terrible horrific bad delivery service. Avoid like the plague.

Whenever I order food from here some how a 14$ order will turn into a 30$ order. And I understand delivery is a convenience thing but almost 7$ for delivery fee plus taxes and tip... like it's crazy we are in the middle of a pandemic and I understand these people need money as well but why not lower the prices... its crazy that I cant leave my house so as punishment that means I'm paying out my butt just so that I can eat.

I have ordered from them 3 times. First time, order was wrong and they refused to give a refund. Offered 10%. Second order- food arrived cold and two items were missing. Stayed on phone for one hour and was never offered even a partial refund. Third, and last time, food says it arrived but we did not have it. Apparently driver left the food outside and never notified us. By the time we got it it was ice cold. How they are still in business is beyond me. I was so upset, my husband and I wrote outa written agreement, that we both signed, promising to never ever order from Grub Hub ever again. It is currently stuck to the bulletin board in out kitchen to remind us of how terrible the company is.

Horrible

Don't use! I would rather WALK 2 miles than use these incapable morons! I ordered a pizza, 2 hrs later, app keeps pushing back the delivery time. I ended up driving to my pizza. Even the pizza place HATES them.

The delivery driver couldn't find the apartment which was really right in front I was standing in front of him saying that's my delivery and he still look around and one he gave me my pizza he left his cell phone on top of my pizza box GrubHub is a $#*!ing joke it's supposed to be free delivery and when I ordered they charge me almost $12 for delivery fee go figure GrubHub I would like a complete refund of my money

Had a horrible driver. Real smart $#*!! Hour and 1/2 late. Left the food outside our door but never let me know. Offered us a whopping $3.00 off but no way to offer the 16 digit code. When I went on chat the guy Austin had no clue. We are done and will check other food delivery services going forward!
