Terrivle service! Have been waiting 2 hours so far and have yet to get my food! It keeps pushing the time our 20 mins every 30 mins! I have never had this problem with Doordarshan! The only reason I used grubhub was because I could not get on my Doordash account! NEVER EVER AGAIN! THERE IS NO WAY TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER SO YOU ARE SCREWED! GRUBHUB you should be so ashamed! Please everyone DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

I ordered from Benihana's three lobster tails and a steak dinner for my 88 year old father. I thought since this isolation is getting him down this was a mood booster. The order was prepared and the driver picked it up, as we can all see on the tracking on the app. The driver arrived at my fathers assisted living facility with the order and she asked if I "my name" was here. The app has his name and his address and my phone number on it, they said NO. The driver NEVER called me and took the dinner with her, nor did she call the restaurant. I spent three hours trying to get ahold of Grubhub. Absolutely the worst customer service, the chat cut me off every time I had a negative thing to say, coincident, right. I finally got ahold after an hour on hold, of customer service. Could not understand the man on the other end. I was placed on hold and the man returned with a very brief answers that I asked him to repeat. His exact words were, your response will he sent to you by email, I asked him to repeat what he said and he hung up on me. People, listen, learn the order was $170, with a $40 tip, I know I was too appreciative. This is the second time this week that I have called Grubhub. They give you the number to the business and blame the business. This is shading the restaurants not Grubhub. The manager at Benihana had no idea how bad Grubhub was to "their" business. The blame was placed on "them" my response was " the driver took the dinner with her and ate it, you put the wrong name on the order'... had the address and the room number AND my phone number on the order. No call, wonder if it was Brussel sprouts she would have taken them with her? My father had no dinner last night. The rat turds" at Grubhub we're damn near broke prior to this pandemic and I know why now. I was trying to support the great people of this country by supporting the community and the people. This company is seriously conning us, please use anything but(butt) GRUBHUB!
So we are in a time where delivery and takeout are the only options. My girlfriend ordered wings from mugs on the app and waited 2 hours. She was holding her phone the entire time and decided to call to see what was going on. They told her that the driver tried to make contact and that she is not getting the food or a refund. She told them that she never got a call and that she even included special instructions with the order. They still refused to give her a refund. We had multiple issues with grubhub before but this was the last straw. Deleted the app. No more business from us.
Order from them three different times and every order was messed up but today put the icing on the cake when I order my food at 8:17 pm and didn't get it until 9:35 and only thing grub hub wanted to do was give me 10% off then I open my food and it's cold even more pissed because of it and I call back and the guy say only thing we can do is give you 20% off your next order. I will not be ordering from them at all this is terrible service from both the driver Judy and the customer service reps.
They don't deliver on time. Customer service is a joke. Food was delivered 40 minutes late and cold.
I placed an order for Taco Bell through Grubhub. It took about 50 minutes for delivery. I had contactless delivery since I am immunocompromised. The driver had left by the time I carried all of the food inside from the porch. Half of my order was missing. Grubhub gave me a partial refund for the missing items. But we were left with food for some of us and not others. We had to split it up so everyone got something. We were all still hungry when it was all gone. Whether this was Taco Bells fault or the driver, it's the drivers responsibility to check the bag before leaving.
I ordered a single cheeseburger from Wendy's at 11:41 a.m. It's 1:22 p.m. (almost 2 hours after I placed the order) and the driver hasn't even arrived at Wendy's to pick it up. I also paid close to $20 for what would have been an $8 order had I gone through the drive through. I'm done using this service
My first time experience with Grubhub was very bad. I was waiting 45 minutes after notice "Your order is on the way" ( restaurant is located in 10 min. Walking way). The food was cold. I didn't like such service.
I am working from home so I placed my first online order for catfish meal for lunch early this morning. My instructions were to ring doorbell and leave food. The driver,
Laura sent a text but there was no food at my front door. I called her she insisted she left it at it on porch in the cul du sac. Told her I don't live in a cul du sac it's the street before mine. She said she wasn't coming back and for me to go retrieve it. How rude talked to LaShunda at corporate office who refunded 100 % of my money which I saw back in my account. I will never use grub hub again.
I ordered a salad and shake. Nothing else. I ordered it at 8:03 pm and Grub Hub said that it would arrive from 8:55-9:05 pm. I waited and waited. 9:13 I check the status and the delivery time has changed. It changes to 9:20 - 9:30pm. I'm blown away that I have to wait and hour and a half for a salad and milkshake. So then I start chatting with a grub hub representative online. I explain how frustrated I am and they say I can cancel my order and get a refund in 5 days. While I'm talking online to this representative, my delivery driver calls me and says that the restaurant doesn't have the shake I ordered... I change my order to something else and wait for my food to arrive at 9:35. I paid 17+ dollars for a wilted salad and milkshake I didn't want in the first place. Forget Grub Hub. It seems great to have food delivered even if the charge is a bit ridiculous, but they suck. No communication, no refunds if the screw it up majorly and last time I ordered I got food poisoning and demanded a refund for the undercooked burger I received. What did I get?... no refunds. Wow.
Ordered from grub hub with chipotle twice. First time, no chips and salsa delivered. Refund adjusted (thanks to great customer service reps). Tried them again for a second time, no chips and salsa delivered again. Texted the driver as soon as we opened the bag to notice... and driver did not respond. Once again, customer service rep adjusted price for missing item.
The customer service reps are very nice and did issue the refund of the missing item. However, the service/delivery charges... not fair. Both times, the delivery was not right. If the delivery cant even be made correctly, should probably adjust the additional charges as well, especially since meal costs $40, half of which is service charges/tip... Especially since this has happened twice now.
Food tasted good. Delivery time was all find and dandy. Customer service reps are great. Too bad they can never get the order right. Probably wont order grub hub anymore. Id rather go to chipotle myself and have it done right even with a pandemic going on.
I will never use Grubhub again! The drivers do not wear masks or even gloves! Although I leave the no-contact message on my orders, they insist on knocking and waiting for me to answer the door, WITH NO GLOVES! No stars from me but the site will not let me post without clicking on the star. NEVER again!
These companies are ridiculous saying to help restaurants stay in business. What about the almost million people who are out of work including people who worked at restaurants. Noone seems to care much about those people. Not trying to down the company but how are most people gonna keep restaurants in business when most people dont have jobs now or money to support this?
Driver's keep ur drink's or food items then you can't get anyone to help you resolve the issues. Free Not So you tip the driver to rip you off! Customer service department doesn't work either.
After waiting for our food delivery for about 2 hrs called the restaurant and was told it was never picked up and was told by the restaurant that GrubHub was horrible, restaurant looked up my order and said that this particular driver had done this multiple times, but the crazy part was driver marked it as delivered.
I ordered a meal, Grub took my card, charged me in full. An hour later, they call me and say the order was cancelled by the restaurant, but not to worry. Grub Hub would refund my money, 3-4 weeks later. They didn't even bother to ask if I wanted to re-order somewhere else. Do not use this service, they are thieves and liars.
I planned on ordering taco bell for delivery. They are advertising "free" delivery for taco bell. When I added all items to my cart, I was beyond shock to see the total price over $67. Yes, this included a "free" delivery. However, looking at the taxes, I was being charged over $10 on taxes. So I switched over to taco bell's online ordering, and plug in the same exact order. Guess how much my order was on their website, only $48. Taxes were only $3. So this "free" delivery they are advertising on grubhub is not free. All they did was move the delivery fee over to taxes so they can still get paid for a delivery fee. The other additional funds was the driver's tip at over $11. But after seeing the total for "taxes", how much of that $11 really goes to the driver? I rather give them cash anyways. So no thank you. This would have been my first time using grubhub and now I never will. What a scum of a company.
This was our first and last time using this company. We ordered our food for our family of 6. This was for our son's 2nd Birthday dinner party. We placed the order early and tracked our order for a hour and a half. The site gave updates that food was ready for delivery. Then after a hour and a half we get a notice saying they cancelled our order. We called Red Bowl and they said order was not cancelled by them. After numerous attempts of contacting grub hub, all they said was contact your bank in 7-10 days if not refunded. $70+ order.
Don't ever give this company your business or your money.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
