This is one of the many so-called apps helping during Covid-19. They're not. Everything is late. I'm sure they're skimming off the drivers so I put a $0 tip and give them a tip in person. No customer service. You can write anything on their social sites and they'll never see it... try it. Getting a refund from them is near to impossible.
Update: Closed my account because of the poor customer service (not the drivers). They make closing your account painful! I think by the third call I lost my cool.
I'm stuck at home, like most people using this service and honestly i couldn't be more disappointed. Food was supposed to arrive within 55 minutes, then it got pushed by back 25 minutes until finally it got pushed back by half an hour. Contacted customer service they told me my food was going to be even later than what was posted on the site. I'm still waiting for it. I am never using Grubhub again, stay away, and steer clear so that companies that do business like this can go out of business.
Last night, I checked GrubHub and had a free delivery from KFC. I ordered at 7:45 PM and it said it'd get here around 8:40. Long, but fine. No problem. 8:50 hits and my driver isn't even at the restaurant. I call GrubHub and wait in silence for 5 minutes and realized they weren't taking calls due to "a high volume." I finally do the online chat, but was told it'd be coming in 25 minutes and was sent $10 off. Over an HOUR LATER, the food still wasn't here. I had to demand GrubHub cancel my order and I ordered from UberEats. It was close to 11 PM at this point. GrubHub SUCKS.
I placed an order with grubhub on April 10,2020. I accidentally put down the wrong address and when the driver went to the wrong address the order was automatically cancelled. The app told me I was going to get a refund but 15 days later, still no refund. So I called and was told no refund request was made and he would take care of it. Another five days and no refund. Called once more. Still, was told no refund request was made. This is absolutely ridiculous.
Last 2 orders of only 3 times trying them out (coincidentally final 2 orders)... they're why I wont use this craptastic joke of a service. 1st of the 2- ordered food from a taco joint and ol' boy gets to my door slaps the bag in my hand says "easy money all day, haha" and leaves... Over half the order was missing. 2 of 2- ordered some food at 8:12 pm pst. Thinking maybe it was a fluke the first time with crap service so I order 56 dollars worth of food for my household and get told 25-35 minutes... then 45-55 minutes... then it gets bumped to 9:35... then gets pushed all the way to 10:10 pm (ordered at 8:12)... The worst part is the track your order feature has a driver ding my order within minutes... then he sits at the same location on "track your grubhub order" for over an hour with it saying driver on the way to restaurant the entire time... got my money back and said never again.

We've had one instance where we ordered food and they inexplicably cancelled it. This time, we waited for two hours and nobody showed up and when we contacted them, the restaurant was already closed. The driver hadn't even left the restaurant. We told him forget it and got our money back. Ended up just putting a pizza in the oven. I think we're done with them.
After we ordered we waited over an hour, called the store and they told us the order was never picked up so we had them remake the order and we had to pick it up our selves
Ordered food fro Taco bell and it took over an hour to get to me. By the time it dis the food was gross. They still charge you for delivery this whole thing is BS!
I've ordered from grubhub a few times when the restaurant was closed. Me and my family waited for food countless times only to find out the restaurant was closed. This last time I had the kids while my wife was working at the hospital ordered food that the driver called and told me he couldn't bring it upstairs to the 3rd floor. Never has anyone told me that not even with Uber eats. But I told him no worries I'll calm and get a refund and hung up because at the same time I'm watching a 2&4 year old and putting down a 6 month old baby. He calls back twice waking the baby up trying to bring the food up by then I'm exhausted anyone with kids understand. I just told him to finish his deliveries I'm putting the kids to bed cause they were tired. I've never sent my kids to bed hungry but with the circumstances of this virus sacrifices have to be made. I'm going to treat them to a great big breakfast in the morning to make up for this horrible night.
I saw a. KFC ad on TV for "free delivery with Grub Hub" so I thought I'd try it. Sure enough, at checkout they credited the $3.99 "Delivery Fee" BUT added their $4.59 Grubhub "Service Fee" AND a $9.01 TIP to my $36.71 order (almost 25% tip). There was no option to reduce the tip amount. That means I would be paying $14. For Grub Hub to deliver my $36.71 order from the KFC less than 1/2 mile away. If it was my second order they would then add the $3.99 Delivery Fee, adding up to $17.99. I don't have a proof of purchase because I cancelled my order. I will never, ever use Grub Hub!
I ordered a salad from subway. Drink. The food order was 14 dollors. I out in 5 dollars for the tip. At checkout my total said 27 dollors Lololo WTF! Keep it. I'll call a shop instead
Driver had 3 other order at the same time. My order sat in his car for an hour and a half. If arrived to my house 2 hrs and 40 min after I ordered. Grub hubs solution was to give me two 20% off coupons for future orders. I will not use them.
Second time I've ordered that the wait time continued to extend. From average of 45 min to nearly two hours. Only to have it cancel. You're dealing with the absolute worst delivery service available. DO NOT waste you're time. Unless you like waiting twice as long only to end up ordering through another person and out the money for 3-5 business days then just go with Doordash.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This service can not even be called a service. They cancel orders, do not contact the buyers, and never deliver food. The driver never calls nor does the company. I am as hung up on twice by the supervisors before erlver getting a clear answer as to what had happened. I am beyond appalled by the service and business of this company. In my opinion... they deserve negative stars!
Ordered food and the driver dropped someone elses food off and then when he was 5 min away from my house with my order the driver had canceled my order, called representative to find out why my order was canceled 5 min away from my house he said the restaurant was closed so the driver canceled it, mind you I was already tracking my order the restaurant did not close, worst customer service, and worst delivery, what type of person canceled your order 5 min away from your house, like what you stealing for

They offer delivery, you enter your address spend time placing your order only to try and check out to find oh your address isn't available for delivery only pickup. Great way to waste time trying to order for a family. Never again will we try grubhub.
So disgusted with them. Have been going back and forth for a week over being charged for food I never received and the order was voided by Grubhub themselves the same night it was ordered after waiting more than an hour. Grubhub rep couldn't contact driver so transaction to be voided. I was still charged the next day. Have been going back and forth with them ever since. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never, ever, order from them again. I never have this problem with doordash. Ever. Grubhub terrible
I placed my order early (3:30ish) to beat the rush. The driver was at the location, confirmed in an email my food was ready and left without it. He then canceled my order after we had been waiting a hour and a half.
This was the first we used this app and surely will be the last.
Grubhub doesn't make it easy to file a complaint either.

I understand that the Coronavirus is happening. I know that I did the drop at the door distance thing. But a courtesy of knocking on the door to inform that the food is outside instead of leaving and the food outside in the night cold. Also, I understand that the arrival time was 810-830 pm.
