I do not believe that I can have a more unhappy shopping experience at any other online store. Basically, I sincerely hope that Ideel will go out of business soon.
First experience:
4 months ago, I ordered a celine bag on Ideel and after 2 weeks, my order was cancelled without any appropriate reason. During that 2 weeks, I was assured by at least 3 representatives that my order will be shipped very soon. However, it got cancelled because "we don't keep inventory. "Ok. I could not care less about how you manage your inventory, but please do not let your representatives to trap your customers by saying that" your item is definitely in stock and will be shipped".
One week ago, I again ordered that bag when it shows that " this item is in stock and will be shipped in 2 days". During waiting, I knew Ideel will play their game again and I was prepared. I still chatted with 3 representatives and again they assured me that "your order is already sent to warehouse and will be shipped in 24 hours. You can expect to receive a tracking any time now." Ok. Then after a week ( not 24 hours, a whole week), they say that they cannot authorize my paypal payment (through no fault of mine) and I need to change my payment method. I tried, but the website does not allow. I talked to another rep, he send me a slash link, and tell me that the order will be cancelled.
I just want to say that this will be the last time I order from Ideel. I will make sure to spread the words. As everyone else here is saying: Ideel is definitely a spam.
Get this... The website has some of the coolest stuff BUT the have "expected delivery dates" When I first signed up I was like "ok, I am cool with that" What they do not tell you is that they would be two days late when shipping your order.
BUT HERE IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD... If you placed an order of two or more items, they will ship them separately! You would get one of the items of your order, if lucky, on time but they would ship each other item days, sometimes weeks from the "expected delivery date." I am so fed up!
Just do not order any fragile stuff. I order 4 sets of dishes. I got the box and everything WAS BROKEN IN IT! But it is ok, right? Stuff like this happens every time you order fragile stuff. WRONG! I opened the box and they package the dishes in a box with no protection what so ever. No bubble wrap, no tissue paper. HECK! I would have been OK with newspaper. But no. They just dunked in a box and shipped away... No care in the world. Who in the world ships like that?
I would have been like "ok, its broken. Happens. I will let them know and they will reimburse me or replace the items." But what ticked me off was that they did not wrapped it for protection. I mean, I am a customer, I am paying for this stuff... Give me a break.
I had NOTHING but confusion AND frustration when I was attempting to use a $10 off a $30 purchase using a code that was emailed to me. It ended up that I was charged TWICE and refunded ONCE for the amount WITHOUT the $10 coupon applied! I spent COUNTLESS hours trying to rectify the problem, when I finally settled for a callback, which came from AFRICA! Yes, AFRICA! Needless to say, I'm DONE with Groupon! RUN, DON'T WALK! They don't play fair and NO discount they could offer is worth HOURS of frustration!
Took a family trip to Branson MO. Wanted to book several shows before visting to ensure availability. We wanted shows that younger kids would enjoy. So we got there on a Wednesday and purchased tickets to an amazing illusionist. Fast forward to Saturday evening we had purchased tickets thru groupon for an Acrobatics show. We stop at the box office to retrieve our tickets only to be told that groupon had the show date wrong. So the box office apologized as they should and stated that they had reached out to groupon on several occasion to let them know that they were selling tickets to a show that was not playing on this particular Saturday evening. The box office tried to make it right by allowing us to enter the show that was scheduled for that evening but it was the illusionist show that we had already seen on the Wednesday before. They also offered the next scheduled show for the acrobats as they would honor the tickets from groupon but we were leaving the following morning.
So we reached out to groupon once we returned home to get a refund, to no avail. The theater was more then willing to also work with us they gave us the managers name so groupon could call them to verify the show we purchased tickets for was not playing that night. I am furious at what i thought was a reputable company would not be able to offer a refund. Especially from the sound of it the theater reaching out to them to let them know they are selling tickets to a show that was not playing on the evening that was stated. This is the first review i have ever left, I am just very mad at the whole situation.
I purchased tickets from GROUPON for Universal Studios. I drove for hours to get there. When I gout there the tickets were for the wrong date! I ended up purchasing tickets using my credit card. Groupon wouldn't give me a refund either. Groupon and they ripped me off. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!
I get my Groupon weekly, best for a meal and even crayons! Best deals though are jewerly! I can't believe the nice goods that I have found at incredible prices!
I purchased a 10 piece comforter set. And when I received it, it didn't look anything like what I saw online. The set I have looked like someone had washed the color out of it. I hate I wasted my $79.99 on this! NEVER AGAIN, I'M DONE WITH ANYTHING GROUPON HAS!

I ordered 600mg CBD gummies from myCBD aka number1cbd.com. What I received was gummie worms in a smaller size. MyCBD will not respond to my emails and Groupon suggested I contact them. There is no chat with Groupon and to find the email to send a complaint is like pulling teeth from the invisible man.

I have been a faithful Groupon customer from the day they started. I've made well over 75 purchases with them and to date I've been satisfied for the most part. All of that changed today! I purchased 9 pair of sunglasses today for $16.99. When purchasing the sunglasses I realized that they were below the going rates for this particular brand, but I thought it was a sale. Hours after I made the purchase I was sent 9 emails stating that the sunglasses "were out of stock". I find this hard to believe that all of the styles of these glasses were " mysteriously" no longer available. I believe the glasses are absolutely in stock. They just refused to honor the price quoted for the sunglasses. Had this been in a store and not online where their is no way to tell if they're really out of stuff they would have to honor the price that was advertised. It's bad and dishonest business practices. I would've had more respect had they just told the truth that they made an error and they won't be able to sell them for that price but to tell a blatant lie is just plain wrong. To make matters worst i wasn't even offered anything just to say I'm sorry for our error. When I called customer service I was basically told sorry there's nothing we can do for you. Well sorry to say I will never shop at a place who doesn't respect nor appreciate their customers. Groupon has lost a very good customer today. I have literally spend thousands with this company, but that all ended today. I'll take my business some place else where they respect and appreciate their customers.
I bought Concert tickets w/Groupon's extraordinary event policy that says if an event is canceled you automatically get a refund, or if rescheduled you can request a refund. BUT it turns out YOU CAN ONLY GET A GROUPON CREDIT. They will not refund to your original form of payment. Policy says nothing about Groupon Bucks, even customer service acknowledged it. The concerts were canceled due to COVID-19, so it's even more unacceptable, beyond the already misleading policy. Horrible customer service.
I ordered some bedroom furniture on the 23rd jan, and a sofa on the 28th jan. After ordering I had a look on the reviews of groupon and could see a lot of them was bad, so I started to worry That I wouldn't get any on time/or get it at all.
But yesterday I go a text for the company delivering my bedroom furniture that it would be coming today between 8am-6pm.
The furniture arrived before 10am which I was happy about as I'm not waiting in all day for. The furniture has came in the time limit they gave me and I am very happy, don't know what I was worrying about.
The sofa should be at mine on 6th feb.
Never will I order from GROUPON again, ordered my kids a 12ft best way swimming pool 7thJuly, expected delivery 14th, dispatched 11th. Nothing! Online chat had no idea, felt like I was talking to a robot and never actually answered my questions, told to wait till 25th July, still no delivery. I had to open a pay pal dispute to get my money back
I purchased a refurbished Apple Watch from Groupon as a Christmas gift. The terms of the return policy said 60 days, but this was changed to 14 days AFTER the item was purchased. The watch is still activated by the original owner and can't be paired with any other IPhone. This is a security feature that is checked and cleared by reputable companies who sell refurbished watches that haven't been stolen. The supervisor I spoke with from Groupon demonstrated that she couln't care less about providing good customer service and refused to offer any remedy or even to provide the name/contact information of the merchant so I could work with them directly to fix the situation. The email that I sent to the CEO of Groupon also went unanswered and unacknowledged. Here's a free piece of advice that cost me $217 to learn: Stay FAR AWAY from ANYTHING that Groupon has to offer.
I had an absolutely horrific experience with Groupon. I recently purchased a deal via Groupon for a laser hair removal treatment. I made sure to read the fine print, in order to make sure I was purchasing the correct treatment area. I made an appointment and requested a day off from work (hence, losing paid time). On the day of my appointment however, the merchant called and notified me that the service area would cost more than twice as much (200 more than I paid) since Groupon made a mistake in presenting the offer. I after talking to 4 different people and staying on the phone for over and hour, no resolution was brought. I spent $174, they offered a refund, and however, I wanted to get the service. I read the deal correctly and paid for and should receive what was promised. The previous representative offered me $20 for my inconvenience and the later representative said he couldnt honor that because it was not noted in my reference account. That is two times in order that Groupon said something and didnt deliver it. The representatives were also very rude and kept putting me on hold without ever notifying me. This is extremely unprofessional. I am never giving any business to Groupon again.
I was not able to get a refund even though the order said "Processing". Even after the event was over it still said "Processing". When I tried to get a refund, they declined.
The worst site! Just reserved a hotel, only to discover that it is infested with bed bugs! Now a nightmare to get a refund as customer service is non existent. Beware of this site.
Ideeli sent me a completely different item from what I ordered so when returning the products, I was told that I would receive a refund on my shipping. 3 things that show what HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Ideeli has:
1. When I returned the items, they claimed that one of them was not in the package... absolute lie
2. I had to email/go on live chat More than 10 times and have STILL YET TO RECEIVE A REFUND.
3. No one EVER follows up and returns my emails.
If I do not receive my RIGHTFULLY due refund, I will be initiating a chargeback for the full amount. I SUGGEST EVERYONE INITIATE A CHARGE BACK for what Ideeli Stole from you... if you do not know how, let me know and I will show you. This is the worst site ever and considering how Ecommerce stores thrive on customer service, Ideeli is for sure doomed.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
