I purchased a large $80 Dogfather windbreaker to go with a large $22 Dogfather t-shirt. The windbreaker was considerably smaller than a large. I requested an exchange and was told NO. Buried deep in the product description was a statement All Sales Final. You wouldn't know to click on every radial to view this bogus policy for an expensive clothing item. It was a gift! Sizing was off and I should be able to get the proper size. Shame on this company.

Purchased black PJ's with paw prints. The inside of the fabric is white and when you wash them the PJ's get pills (little white balls) all over it. I used lint brush to remove & washed again & same thing happened. I also bought a scarf that wasn't what I expected. Called customer service, can't return anything that the tags have been removed or not in original package. Explained these were for Christmas so all tags removed. Made no difference. Advised agent I would never purchase anything here again.

We generally make exceptions during the holidays due to situations such as what you described - removing the tags due to it being a gift. I have refunded you for both the Pajama's and the Scarf and that refund will go back to your original form of payment. I woke up Saturday morning to an alert from my bank that money was donated without my authorization I have no idea who this company is or what it is but I have to stop payment in my bank is sending me a new credit card now I have to go through all the trouble of setting up a new debit card to pay my bills, this company is not legitimate in my opinion

Unauthorized use of your card are not a result of our organization using your card. This would be a case of where you card was compromised and used by an unauthorized user. I would check with your bank to find out what requirements they set for use of a card online, and let them know that the card was compromised. We would be happy to refund you directly through your dispute with your credit card company. We use various different authorization processes for payments when orders are placed online, but if your bank does not participate in those restrictions, then the card will pass and be charged. That is why it is important to review what requirements your bank has when making online purchases. For example, we will have a setting that requires the billing address and zip code on your account match to what was entered on the order. If they do not match and your bank participates in this restriction, the card will not process. However, if your bank does not participate in requiring that stipulation, the card will process regardless of our security measures put in place.

My bank notified me that a greatergood.com attempted an online transaction from one of my accounts. I realised it was a US charity organisation, and I had no prior experience with them. I've frozen the account and contacted the bank to inquire further. I've brought this to your attention because the bank suggested I contact the merchant about this attempted fraudulent transaction.

It would be great if the organisation tightened their online security as I can see there was a previous complaint in August with similar experience. I am not even from America and I feel that this is targeted. Please ensure that this doesn't happen with others

Thank you for notifying us of this issue. Yes, we are aware of other attempts of fraudulent actions due to credit card numbers being stolen. The fraudsters are using the card for a small amount to see if the card works and if so, they sometimes proceed to use that card for future fraudulent activity. We have taken steps to reduce this activity but in part, the banks have to participate as well. One of the key security channels it must go through is the billing address on the order must match the billing address your bank has on file. Some banks do not participate in this security so even if we have our security set as such, the transactions can still flow through as the bank doesn't require this match. We apologize for this inconvenience.

I ordered a 7 strand bracelet for my sister, as a Christmas present, on 12/9/21. On 12/20/21, the tracking information stated my package arrived at the USPS destination location. On 12/26/21, I reached out to customer service because my order kept saying it would be delivered that day, not getting delivered and then saying the same thing the next day. Every single day I checked. On 12/30/21, I was issued a replacement and all seemed to be good. However, on 1/8/22, the bracelet was delivered and the next day my sister was able to try it on. Only 3 of the 7 strands will even fit her wrist and 1 of the strands will hardly even fit her petite 7 year old daughter's wrist. I genuinely can not believe I paid nearly $40 for the bracelet, had to have it replaced after almost a month and still received such a poor quality product! I reached out to customer service about the problem and in the email, I stated I no longer have access to the card I purchased the bracelet with so even though I felt a refund was absolutely in order for this awful experience, I was unable to receive one to that card. After several days I received a response that said they'd issued a refund…. To the card I told them I cannot receive I refund to. ‍ so if you want shoddy products, long waits and horrendous customer service, this is the company for you. If not, avoid at all costs.

Tip for consumers:
The shipping times and customer service response times are INSANE. Be prepared to wait and wait and wait and wait.

I placed an order feeling good about helping animals and getting some great things for my upcoming vacation. I've waited 2 weeks foe this package to arrive only to get an email stating the package had been returned to them. I've never had a problem getting packages. I call scam. Do not order. I'll be checking my credit card to be sure e money was refunded. They should have expedited the returned package. Poor poor customer service. Done.

I apologize if you feel the service you have received was not to your expectations. The reason the order was not shipped back to you or expedited is that we do not have a way to tell if the package was returned by the post office due to inability to deliver to your address or if the package was refused by the recipient. We only know that it was a return to sender. Your full cost, including shipping was refunded to your original form of payment when the return was received back at our warehouse. Without knowing the reason for the return back to our organization we cannot reship products again in case it was a case of the customer not wanting the shipment.

Your order was placed on July 24th and shipped from our warehouse on July 27th. Tracking shows that it made it to your city and state and then was returned to us. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. We strive to deliver all of our shipments on time, but once it leaves our facility, we need to rely on the shipping vendors to ensure it gets to you. Our organization is not a scam and the full refund should demonstrate that fact. We do our best to provide the best service as possible and still support the many charitable causes that we fund.

I just received an email asking to donate towards our veterans and their animals for shelters. I thought this was great! However after doing some research I discovered that this organization pays their Executives a high salary. I was only able to find their 990 IRS form from 2017 and the top executive was making $170,000 annually. (no 2018 990 available in the IRS site) The other administrative positions were also making over $100,000. Way to greedy for my standards for a charity that's out to help Veterans and their pets! Looks like their the ones receiving charity!

Received order today. Shoes run full size smaller, wear an 8.5 ordered a 9 and they are too small by 1/2 inch. A waste of money!

I ordered on May 14th... still waiting for email to say it has been shipped. But, they have been paid. So what is up Great Goods! I called and told they could not cancel or return my monies. We are now June 1,2020. Man had stuff ordered from China that is here already. Where there stuff is good or not... I won't be ordering from this company and just donate to my AHS in my state. My goodness what a rip off. I am tired of them saying Covid19 is the reason. You sure didn't have covid19 issues taking my monies 2 weeks ago.

Ordered paw print shoes for my mom for mother's day. Paid almost 3x the price of the item to get here on time. Needless to say, it did not arrive. I emailed 5 times prior to Mothers day to get an update and find out why, only to be ignored. Did online chat with them the following Monday, only to be disconnected repeatedly, told that Fridays don't count as a day of the week even though they do in fact work on Friday. Finally got supervisor David. He was incredibly rude, refused to connect me to someone above him. He asked me to forward the email proving I should have received this on Friday, which I did. Then David said that he didn't care what I sent him, he wouldnt refund me my shipping costs and it was not his problem. David told me, as far as I am concerned, he is the ultimate word and even though he does have bosses above him, flat out refused to connect me to one. (i do have screenshots of our conversation). He said its up to him only about resolving my issue, and he wasn't issuing a refund. Tried to disconnected myself and get someone else, and he told the 3 people working below him to refuse to put me to anyone else. Then he told me that i need to stop contacting them, as he has already explained that he is the ultimate word there, and wouldn't assist me any further.
Absolutely horrible customer service. I would NEVER buy from them again, and will tell everyone I know not to either.

Don't buy from them. Incredibly rude, unprofessional and waste of time and money

Saw cute pawprint shoes on a friend who directed me to this website. I have large feet and usually wear an 11 or 12. I ordered an 11 and it was sooooo big. I called and they said to return the shoes -- at my expense. My expense was $15. The total spent was $32. I asked why they wouldn't pay that shipping if the product was clearly defective. They don't care. I would NEVER buy here a gain.

I bought two pairs of pajamas and a face mask from The Rainforest Site. They took my money, said the package had been shipped, but I never got it. I tried to get in touch with them, but there doesn't seem to be a way to. They're the worst of scammers, and I will NEVER support them or buy from them again.

House shoes were the cheapest made I have ever seen. No right or left designated. Feels like piece of cardboard with foam glued on top of that.
I like that they feed animals but these were Christmas gifts I was embarrassed to give.

GreaterGood is a U.S. based company so all funds on our websites are in U.S. Dollars. I apologize if the dollar exchange for Australia was higher than you were expecting. Our website also does not calculate any duties and taxes that may be charged to you as a result of products coming into your country. The feature that you are indicating we should have, "A button to set to Aus" is usually only a feature that would be available if we had a physical location in Australia and then we would have an Australian website.

You do always have the option to return your order for a refund if you wish to not keep your order.

I have ordered from Greater Goods many times before and have been satisfied with the service & products.
I unfortunately, can not say that now. Recently, I ordered flip flops and a shirt to match. After I ordered this and it was in stock, got a letter that the flip flops were no longer in stock. I had looked at the site a few days after I ordered this and it was still in stock, so don't understand how this happened. I have not received the shirt yet, and was told that I have to wait until next week, Tuesday to cancel order if not received by then. It is very frustrating since I got them to match and have to wait 2 weeks (business days) after the shipping date to know what is happening with shirt. This was frustrating but my recent experience was extremely upsetting!

I ordered a box of masks, a welcome sign, and a poop bag set for my dog. Today, I received a box at my door.
The box was obviously tampered with, as the tape looked like it was re taped. When I opened the cardboard box, I took out the packing slip. The left hand corner of the slip was completely torn off, where information was supposed to be. Inside the cardboard box was a torn box that the masks were supposed to be in and the masks were loose. I looked at the torn box and to my dismay, there was an expiration date on, what should have been the bottom of the box, The expiration date was April 10,2020. Today's date is June 11,2020 so the box of masks that were sent were expired!
The other 2 items were not there. Only the ripped box with the expired date and the loose masks. I called and spoke to the manager and told him the situation. He agreed to give me a refund, I received a refund letter and hopefully will get a refund on my credit. I understand that it is not the companies fault that the box was tampered with and items were missing, but it is the responsibility of the company that sent the masks to have seen that they were expired! Most people, would never think to look at an expiration date so I hope this has not happened to anyone else.
As I said at the beginning, I did have positive experiences with ordering from this company, but this experience has me so upset and unsure of continuing to place orders any more. I was upset about the flip flops and shirt, but sending something that is obviously EXPIRED and having a packing slip ripped and items missing needs to be corrected!

Thank you very much for your honest comments regarding your recent experience with GreaterGood. I would first like to address the first issue you experienced with the out of stock Flip Flops. I apologize for any inconvenience that this out of stock product may have caused. As with most companies, we will have products that run out stock periodically and since we only purchase seasonal shoes once per year, once they are gone for the season, they don't get restocked. The reason availability may vary from time to time is if a pair of shoes get returned for some reason. I am assuming that this is what occurred when you checked back and found there was availability of the shoe again. GreaterGood does not have a backorder system, so we would not have any visibility to send the shoes to you when some were received back into inventory. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this caused.

The second issue noted regarding the package arriving that appeared to have been tampered with, I again, apologize that this was your experience. We have found a few other instances where customers experienced the masks to have issues with the ear loops breaking. Since we obtain our product from multiple manufacturers we are identifying which manufacturer had the issues with mask quality and addressing that issue on our end. We take great pride in offering products of value to our customers and when we receive feedback from customers related to a trend we do take measures to correct that issue.

I think you for sharing your thoughts with us and we will work tirelessly to correct the quality issues that you and some others have raised. I trust that you will see your credit that the customer service Manager provided to you for the last order soon. It can take 2-4 business days for your financial institution to apply that credit.

I ordered a Pajama Set but They never shipped out my full order. They only sent the shorts and when i called them on it they said that only order shorts (which costs more that set apparently). Customers service sucks! After 3 weeks of trying to get help the best they could say was buy more stuff... I will never use them again!

Rude, rude, rude service representatives. All about the money and could care less if they ruined a present or sent incorrect items. Wondering if they even use the proceeds as stated?

Avoid at all costs. There is another retailer somewhere who deserves your business.

The chain is not correct and when I told customer representative about it she was very rude. She stated that the mistake was mine and I would have to pay to send it back. Then I could reorder. The items was already past delivery day by 6 days and was a day late for a Christmas present for my granddaughter. I love the charm, but the service will keep me from ever opening the website again.
Oh yeah...surprise, surprise, no one responded to my email sent 4 days ago about Christmas present delayed because of shipping. Too bad, I really liked the idea behind this company and the products are good quality..

I didn't realize, but I was ordering 3 of the same item instead of just 1. Within less than 5 minutes of my mistaken order, I e-mailed GreaterGood advising of my mistake and requesting a refund for 2 of the same items. I was sent back an e-mail denying my refund because, apparently, in those very few, few minutes, my order was placed and already "processed in [its] system"! Then, I received another e-mail stating that the package comes with a return label, but that it's my responsibility to pay for tracking. No, I'll never shop here again. There are other animal sites to buy from. I think it needs to change its name in order to be truthful.

Do not buy from this 'so called' charity, because they will rip you off...!
Using their size chart I bought a ring from them and when it arrived it was 3 sizes too small. I know this because I got it checked at a British jewellers. I followed their returns guidelines and sent it back via recorded delivery. In total I spent $42.21 to buy the ring and return it due to their size chart being totally wrong. They only refunded me $19.82. Clearly this is how they make their money for their 'charity'.

As someone else mentioned, if you want to change the size of an item you ordered you are screwed even if you try immediately after the order is placed. There is no way to do it. I contacted customer service numerous times right after placing an order and was told there was no way they could change the size even though the order had just been placed and had not been shipped. They told me to send it back for an exchange at my own expense because they would not provide a return label. So I sent it back for an exchange and they told me the item was now out of stock. They provided a refund but only for the original cost of the item not the tax, original shipping, or return shippping. So I paid more than the item cost after all of this and have nothing to show for it. Hopefully in the future they will provide a way to change orders prior to shipping. I will never order from them again though.

I ordered a cute jacket, but when it came it had a big bleach stain on it. I returned and they sent a new one. The new one is so poorly made I am ashamed to wear it! Inside by the zipper someone who cannot see well was cutting the edges. It really looks bad! I asked to be taken off their list, but it has not happened.

I purchased 2 items to help The Rainforest Site, which is under the umbrella of Greater Good. I also purchased 2 other items from Animal Rescue & Greater Good itself. The Animal Rescue & Greater Good gifts I bought had cards in them showing where the costs of these items were applied. I called & spoke to Cole asking if I could have 2 Rainforest Site cards, as these are gifts for my grand girls & I wanted them to know that fact. Cole was VERY nasty, seemed like he had NO idea what he was talking about, but said he'd send me an email saying where a portion if the costs went. And then he HUNG UP on me! The email arrived & it was about Thea Animal Rescue! Really?

These items will go back! They're not good quality anyway. I guess their employees are equally bad quality! Shame on you!
