“Beautiful Company”

Deborah H.

Caring, real people on the other end who love roses, and their job to share the roses with all of us. They understood me right away and went beyond to answer questions and help me as a new rose enthusiast! The story about Grace and her husband starting the company … and then about Grandma Grace… photos …then the adorable Edwardian baby clothes! I just really appreciate this family's roses and values and way of life. Excellent in every way.

“Scam!”

Let me start by saying that I grew up with parents who grew roses and several other types of flowers and never once did I see anything even close to this quality in their facility. This company should be ashamed of the product they're growing and shipping, customer deception at its finest. Staggered length stems and several bruised petals and broken leaves. Definitely NOT David Austin outdoor roses. I would highly recommend not purchasing from them. Save your $100 and go to Trader Joe's. So embarrassing.

I ordered $150 of rose bushes LAST MARCH! One bs excuse after another they refuse to return my money and keep promising delivery. They advertise they grow roses on site on their " beautiful organic farm" but blame the " supplier" that they can't get roses. I am filing a complaint of fraud with local authorities and the BBB. They would have been smart to refund my money.

You got to be careful buying from this company. They're greedy and the customer care is 0 stars! I returned the bushes but they still did not refund after they received the bushes I returned. I had to file a case on PayPal to get refunded. Also the roses that were preordered, I cancelled them, they cancelled but did not refund. The owner she's petty and full of drama.

Tip for consumers:
They have bad customer service. No warranty for their products.

The quality of the roses varies on each order. One order came with lots of unopened buds that I assumed would open but they didn't. I was disappointed by that. They offer wonderful deals that I'm often tempted by but they are expensive and I just feel I can resist.

I ordered two dozen roses for Valentines day for a princely sum. The website advises to order two days in advance so the buds have time to bloom. The flowers came in full bloom and not in impressive condition, but I hoped that arranging them in vase with water and the supplied plant food would do the trick. Two days later (Valentine's Day), the flowers are dying.

Never came until I started a dispute with my credit card then overnighted. Said would refund my express shipping I paid but never did. Customer service was incredibly rude (Julio) when I FINALLY got a response and arguing about it being UPS's fault (I can see when it was shipped on my UPS account). Also stated the refund which never happened. Because of his rudeness and how it was handled would never order again from this company. Shame because the roses were gorgeous.

Two dozen roses arrived a day late- the day after our anniversary, in the middle of July. The roses were brown, dry, warm, and desiccated. Emailing the company, they blamed the carrier and took no responsibility. I sent photos of the brown flowers and was told, "Don't worry, they'll perk up." The flowers were dead. If it wasn't so funny, it could have been a Monty Python skit, "Beautiful plumage!" Bottom line: avoid Grace Rose Farm. I'm going back to FarmGirl.

Poor customer service and super slow response time. Their famous line was always "escalating to management' which essentially just another way of buying time. I waited for months to hear back from "management" and had to send several follow emails…still no resolution. The actual "escalation" only happened when I voiced my concern and experience via social media (which was never my intention to escalate thing). I merely just wanted people to be aware of my experience and not be in the same boat as I was. When I voiced my experience and opinions, GRF social media "spy" was being very rude and unprofessional. Trying to hush and put me down. Their price is highway robbery compared to other reputable online rose nurseries. Sometimes price is irrelevant when it comes to customer satisfaction. I don't mind the high prices so much if they can improve their communication and customer service. When you spend over thousands of dollars, a little kindness and common sense would be appreciated. Customers will value you more than the price of your product when you have exceptional customer service. Oh…and by the way, that social media GRF "spy" does more damage to their image than damage control. The right thing for him to do would be to point customers to the right people at GRF so they can help resolve the issue, not to shot them down and add on to the problem. Looks bad and very unprofessional.

Tip for consumers:
The pictures of the products looked photo shopped and not realistic. It would be nice to post realistic photos so people do not get disappointed when they receive the product.

I placed an order to ship roses in august and tried to cancel right away after i read reviews. They did not answer the phone or my email. I contacted my credit card co right away and told them. In a few days, i got an email saying it was too late to cancel and that I had called after the cancelation date. I asked for the return policy, and it was still within the window. They are terrible. Save your selves the trouble. They are BAD

I ordered two dozens of roses. I also purchased the Route Package Protection so that I received the roses in the best condition possible. I even planned to be home and was in fact at home when the delivery was made so the roses did not sit outside waiting to be put in water. When I opened up the box, one dozen of the roses (white "Patience" roses - supposedly David Austen roses) were withered with brown edges along the petals. Even more, their stems were so thin, they could barely hold up in a vase when I tried to put them in water to hydrate them. The other dozen roses (yellow "Catalina" roses) were in better condition - the flowers full and with thick stems - but two of them were cut right under the flowers leaving no way to salvage them. Having spent a lot of money on these so called "designer roses," I contacted customer service right away. I called the customer service number but no one picked up and was simply told to send an email, which I did. What came after was nothing short of intentional manipulation. I wish I could post every single bit of correspondence regarding this situation. I don't even have the energy or the heart to go through every single thing they said in response. As a business owner myself, it is beyond belief how anyone could treat a customer this way, much less a returning customer, who has purchased from them more than half a dozen times before simply bc I made one complaint about the condition of the roses received.

Thanks for ruining my anniversary. I paid for Saturday delivery. So nice to get an email that I should be happy my flowers may be delivered Tuesday. Wow only four days late and counting. I hope you go out of business and quit ruining people's celebrations.

Hi Thom! We are so sorry about the delay in your package. We use UPS Express to deliver all of our packages and once they are in the hands of UPS we cannot control when they will deliver but our company policy is to reship any roses that have been delayed due to UPS. Since you declined a reshipment we did offer you a $200 gift card.

I received three dozen roses from Grace Rose Farm as a gift from a friend. The roses arrived in a terrible condition; the stems were broken, the. Flower heads fallen off from the stems, and the petals on at least a third of the flowers were wilted and browning. I took close-up photos of the damaged roses and sent them to Grace Rose Farm's Customer Service requesting a refund or partial refund to be issued to my friend who purchased the flowers. They refused to acknowledge the damaged and poor condition of the roses and ignored my partial refund request. I was very disappointed both with the quality of the roses and the customer service of this company.

I purchased the flowers when they were BOGO. They were to be used for a shower. Unfortunately, only 1/2 of the order came. I notified them immediately and they said that I had a few options:
The soonest we can reship an order would be for Saturday.
We would be more than happy to file a claim for a refund.
Or issue you a $200 gift card that does not expire.
The shower was Saturday, and since a group of women were all contributing to the shower elected to take the refund. When I responded to their email and said I wanted the refund, they responded that this was no longer an option, since it was BOGO and that I can only receive a $130 credit. Puts me in a bad spot because now I have to purchase locally. At least locally I know that I will get much more and nicer quality for the same price that I paid. As a BOGO it was a good offer. Stand alone, the flowers are NOT worth $130.

I'll start out by saying the website is beyond deceiving. Having many rose bushes my self these roses are a Joke. I'm embarrassed to say I've placed over 20+ orders and spent thousands of dollars with Grace Rose Farm. Almost every time something goes wrong whether it's shipping or the roses them selves, to keep it simple. The thing is im a huge supporter of small businesses and or "family owned". Im also not unreasonable given that I've given them so many chances to get it right. To be honest, the worst part is is that they say they have customer support, they don't. I've tried to call them a multitude of times and never has anyone ever picked up the phone nor have I received a call-back. Contacting them from email? You MIGHT get a response but its weeks after. This company is nothing but a scam and constantly falls short on their promises as a legitimate business. Im surprised theyre still in business. Most of the reviews are 1 or 2 stars (1.3 stars on Better Business Bureau) EEEK! What does that tell you? Every once in a while there's reviews for the full 5 stars, not 3, not 4, and the reviews are so detailed in a way that it's obviously been fabricated or payed for. So I also feel like instead of GRF helping all of us "real customers" and making it right, they're more concerned about covering their own@$$. It's almost insulting. Needless to say, trust the stars, or lack of, and go elsewhere to purchase roses. Please don't make the same mistake me and all the others have

I paid for a flower delivery service to arrive 3/17/2022. The flowers did not reach the intended recipient. GraceRoseFarm does not provide customers with a phone number. Its email-only customer service has dragged this out for 2 1/2 weeks. As of 3/31/22, Grace is still ignoring requests to resolve by phone. They refuse to offer a refund.

This business is about delivering flowers to mark special occasions. Assuring their product arrives on the intended date is part of their business. The original date of delivery was 3/17/22. They failed to deliver the service they promised. I have spent nearly every day since then writing emails. Horrible business model.

FarmGirl flowers, for instance, offers a quality product and phone customer service.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use them at all.

I ordered a rose bush as a gift and it was sent to me by mistake. I left two email messages, called once and a second time. I spoke with someone who said I would get an email to see what they could do for me. No email. I also told the person I spoke I work during the day and maybe UPS could pick up in the evening. I sent my third email and only get a notice that UPS is making a pickup, 9 to 5! No message. When I left another email saying I wasn't available during the day I got another message;
"There is nothing we can do.
We scheduled the pickup per your request.
We have issued you the label, you are more than welcome to drop it off at UPS."
Wow. So sorry I purchased from this company.

Placed an order for a rose bush on their website. Later found out that it was just a bare root for the price of a well-grown rose bush (I have a grocery store next to my house selling different types of rose bare roots for $7.99)! On the website, the title of the rose never mentions it's just the bare root they are selling, instead, they place "bare root (ship out Jan- March next year)" on a separate click-on button. To keep it short, they mislead you into believing either you can pick to buy a well-grown bush or just a bare root which will be shipped next year! I didn't realize what i paid $36.- ended up just getting the root, so i called to cancel the order because it's not what I expected to get. But they insist on the 48 hours cancellation policy they set up and insist they won't cancel order. It is a TOTAL SET-UP TO SCAM! I've never seen a more horrible and rude company like that!

I was so excited to finally be celebrating my wedding. I had dreamed about Grace Rose Farm roses from their beautiful pictures. Because of a difficult year with too many personal things to mention, our wedding celebration had to be put together rather quickly after we could finally set a date. I was so excited I could order just 3 bouquets from Grace Rose Farm to decorate. I had my reservations because they are SO expensive. I was so excited to see they would arrive on time! Unfortunately, only 2 of my 3 bouquets arrived. How UPS loses 1 when they are shipped together, I do not know. Because I did not choose the $9 extra shipping insurance, Grace Rose Farm will not refund my money, but will only send me credit. My wedding is over now, so it's a little too late for that. I know some things can be out of our hands, but the customer service on this is very subpar. Sadly very unimpressed. Brides - get the shipping insurance! It still might not get there for your big day, but at least you MIGHT get your money back. I lost both.
